CANCELATION POLICIES

Cancellation Deadlines:
  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 1 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

Cancellation Details:
  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements.

VEHICLE, ATV, & GOLF CART POLICY

  • Any guest or visitor operating a motorized vehicle of any kind must have a state-issued driver's license.
  • Children under the age of 16 are prohibited from operating any motorized vehicle while on park property. 
  • ATVs and other recreational vehicles are meant for off-road activities and are not to be used as recreational vehicles within the boundaries of the park.
  • The park speed limit applies to all vehicles. Strictly enforced for guest safety.
  • ATVs and other recreational vehicles may not be driven around the property during quiet hours (10pm - 8am)
  • Golf Carts are not permitted within the campground.

5 MPH within ALL areas of the park

FIRE RULES

Fires are allowed in the fire rings only. Check with office for any federal fire bans or restrictions.

Outside firewood is not permitted, unless local or kiln treated, due to risk of invasive pests.
Firewood is available for purchase in the General Store.

WILDLIFE AWARENESS

Connecting with nature and wildlife. Various types of wildlife big and small may be on this campground. Be alert and give them distance and respect. Keep dogs on a leash and properly store food, trash and cooking supplies. Your safety and the future of wildlife depend on you.

PROPANE FILL

Guests may request propane fills at the General Store during operating hours.

PET POLICY

All Cabins that are pet friendly require a $35 fee per stay. Damages caused by pets may incur additional charges. Max of 3 pets per cabin.
If your stay includes outings away from the campground, please take your pets with you or make appropriate arrangements for their care. Pets should never be left alone in cabins or tents.
We do not charge a pet fee on RV and tent sites. 
Excessive barking can be disruptive for campers, so please consider your neighbors.
Please remember to clean up after your pet, have them on a leash, and stay with them at all times. 
Please note that pets are not permitted in children's play areas, in the lake or beach area, or inside any buildings.

NUMBER OF GUESTS PER RESERVATION

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, strict limits are enforced on the number of people who may be at the campground per each reservation. 
  • At check-in, you will be asked to verify the number of guests staying at your site.  
  • A limit of 4 to 6 people per site (depending on site type) will be enforced. That total number includes both the number of people on your reservation and any day visitors. If you have the maximum number of people on your reservation, day visitors are not allowed.

RV and Tent sites are limited to 6 people per site.
Camping Cabins and Deluxe Cabins are limited to the maximum occupancy. The number of guests/visitors per site cannot exceed the maximum sleeping capacity of the accommodation. 

Note: If the number of overnight guests on your reservation allows for day visitors, those day visitors must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Keep in mind that parking is limited and is first come, first serve. Visiting guests are permitted until Quiet Hours begin at 10pm and must adhere to campground rules. Should day visitors turn into overnight guests, they must register at the front desk.

AFTER HOURS/EMERGENCY NUMBER

After hours registration is posted in the night registration box located to the right of the General store front door.
Night Host number is located on the map for any assistance.
For emergencies call 9-1-1.

OTHER INFO & POLICIES

No Smoking In Cabins & Buildings:
In accordance with state law, there is no smoking in buildings and cabins. A $300 fee will be charged if any guest is found to have smoked in any cabins or buildings.

WATERCRAFT POLICY

To protect our lakes and prevent the spread of invasive species, personal watercraft are not permitted. 
Watercraft Rentals available in the Campstore during office hours.

Sheila has been with KOA since 2022, starting her career in Devils Tower, Wyoming. With experience in store operations, guest services, housekeeping, and management, she is excited to take on the General Manager role at Muskegon KOA. Over her 15-year career in customer service, Sheila has excelled in various roles, ensuring guests have memorable experiences. Outside of work, Sheila enjoys hiking, kayaking, and paddle boarding with her family, deepening her connection with nature. Her adventurous spirit and love for the outdoors reflect her approachable, vibrant personality. Known for her strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills, Sheila is a natural leader. Her background in customer service and passion for the outdoors make her well-suited to lead teams and foster a positive environment for both employees and guests.
