My family love staying at the Muskegon KOA. The people are very friendly. It is a very clean. We also really like the lake.

A very nice, clean campground with rustic sites under the trees. The lake makes for a nice view. The well water is brown and the owner said it's ok to drink but we weren't comfortable with that. They do sell gallon jugs in the camp store. The main downside is the noise from the nearby highway but that's something beyond control. It was hot so we kept the AC on and it drowned out the noise.

The bath houses were not clean, very old, gross- and I am not picky about camp bathrooms. We lost power for almost a whole day so no way to get cool, we couldn't even turn a fan on for our dog. My husband called many times and the front desk gave us the owners number, and he never called us back. The lake was pretty, but we've been to other KOAs with much better amenities and better services.

Very nice campground and friendly owners. Two things that can be improved the Wi-Fi keep dropping out but it is free. The other is the turnaround to get in line for signing in better to stay on the road before entering than making the "U" turn when you have a big rig and towing.

Needed updating of the bathrooms. Both bathrooms were dirty and old, especially the showers. Would have liked a pool also, even though we know not all KOA’s have them

We stayed in a cabin over one night with our family of 5. We swam in the lake, the water slides were a treat. We rented bikes and chased each other around. The kids jumped on the trampoline and played at the park. At night we grilled and ate at the picnic bench. In the morning we watch fish and turtles swim outside our front door. The cabins and bathrooms were clean and accommodating. Very nice!

I paid for three nights and upon arrival my camper broke and I was unable to set it up. My stay was an entire one hour. They would not refund my monies. Small lots. Nice lake and good workers Misleading photos. Inadequate facilities.

Beautiful campgrounds with plenty to do. Great for couples and families. Well stocked Lake for fishing, nice swim area. Felt very safe as the had people out most of the night on patrol. Great price for ice and wood that is sold all night long (huge plus) Pet friendly

The place its neat,its got as little bit of everything, price could be adjusted down a little to be competitive Two things are a minus :its close to the highway ,little noise, and second :pets,I love animals but I don't want my neighbors dog to keep me awake or wake me up every time the dog here someone Pet and non pets. SHOUD be seperated

Rude worker. Stands and blinds you with a flashlight and then he said some rude stuff, was drinking a beer and messing with the electric box at the campsite and left it open and we had 2 one year olds running around. Told us that if we picked a stick to roast marshmallows he would have to kick us out and he would hate to have the little ones sleeping in a parking lot somewhere. Nice man �

The camp was beautiful and well maintained. I loved the cabin and plots we rented for daughter's 5th birthday. My only issue is how rude all but 2 staff members were during our stay. They were short, dismissive, and seemed bothered when spoken to.

The owners are very rude and disrespectful to the guests. So many rules, kids cannot have any fun while staying here. I am an elementary teacher and understand the need for rules, but this place is out of control with rules. We have stayed here twice in the last two years with our soccer families and will NEVER return.

We love the camp ground and camping right on the water, great fishing. The owner stalks you the whole time your there. He is also very intoxicated everyday.

Lots of things for all to do! Kids loved the water slides and jumping pad. We all enjoyed fishing and campfires. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We love coming up every summer ��

The lake had so much algae that we couldn’t fish off our site. The swimming area is not very good. We paid $30 to rent a bike and was told to come back at 7pm came back and they were closed for an ice cream social and had to wait an hour for our ride and we were not told this in advance.

My grand daughter had an amazing time. True memories were made on her first camping trip. The lady at the front desk ( Mary) was rude and condescending toward my oldest daughter. Made her pay a $10 visitors fee, when she had already paid $84 to rent a tent lot for 2 days. Refused to give the money back even though her name was on the lot. Lots of fun if you can avoid the staff. All in all, Great t

Nice campground, friendly staff! Trees for shade; grassy level sites; lake for swimming, fishing, boating; some sites right on the water; pretty unpaved walking or bicycle trail through the woods around the lake...all good!! The only negative we noticed is highway noise at the south end where we camped. The north end is probably quieter. But the location near the highway is very convenient!

The owner and staff were a perfect 5 stars. It was very clean. The mosquitoes were very bad before they fogged then we enjoyed ourselves. I would give the highway noise a negative 1 star.� If you want a quiet camping experience this is not the place.

The grounds were nice and clean. Walking the trail was fun. The beach was small but our children had fun. The giant slide was a hit with the older kids. The cabin was clean and ready upon arrival. We rented a deluxe cabin and were very pleased! Everything was clean and it was just the perfect size for our family of 4. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the kids enjoyed the playground and jumping pillow. It was a short distance to Michigan's Adventure and the sand dunes (which were awesome). We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area, great place for a little get away!

The only two flaws I found with this KOA are: showers need scald protection. Water turns burning hot when toilets are flushed. Also a bench in the dressing area in shower would be extremely helpful. There is nowhere to place your belongings.

We really love the campground! This weekend while we were there they did an ice cream social and had fire dancers! Very fun! Love staying in the cabins on the water! My husband and kids fish from our porch. The facilities are always clean ( for a sandy campground)

Besides the know-it-all guy who “helped” us park our travel trailer and he made us put it too close to the utilities which our slide crashed into, everything else was great. He told us he knew exactly where it needed to be because all slides don’t go beyond a certain measurement. Wrong! Shouldn’t have trusted what he said.

Nice KOA, easy to access from highway and good size twin lakes for kids. The jumping pillow is a nice feature.
