I have stayed at a lot of campgrounds over the last 16 years (KOA, jellystones, ma & pa, state parks etc). This was the absolute worst. From rude owner, horrible off season phones, to over charging and extending our stay due to a some small festival in town. Refusing to help put 3 families together. Run down facilities and amenities that didn't work including wifi.

The bathrooms smelled of mildew, there was drywall pieces missing, the floor in one shower was cracked in the men’s bathroom, the sites were clean... most of the staff was decent but the owner was rude and totally unappealing. It was a great time! Just some input that I would provide would be that having a lakeside site would be 10x better if the shore wasn’t so mucky. We also had a negative experience with a loud domestic dispute from a family 6 sites down or so that woke up nearly the entire campground at 1:30am for about an hour.

The place had some nice amenities. The bathrooms were always very dirty. The campsites were the smallest sites I have ever stayed on, even at a KOA. The manager was very rude to me and I also saw him be rude to several other customers.

My experience at this park was wonderful. Clean, friendly, and well run. Everything you need for a camping experience. Planning on going back soon. Went to Unity Festival, very easy to get to and from concert. Loved it

The campground and amenities were amazing! The manager is insane. The first words out of his mouth as I excited my RV where “everyone out of the vehicle” and then proceeded to argue when I explained it was me and my dog. He was constantly yelling at children which you could hear at the campsite. He’s very unprofessional and if they found new management this campground would be amazing!

The worst KOA we have ever been at. Every koa has a program of activities for kids. This one has nothing and when i asked the owner about it he handed me a map to Michigan adventure. Showers are disgusting! Bathrooms -really old. Instead of nature sounds, constant sound of cars passing on the freeway because this koa is so close to the road. On the good note- nice lake

Owner / Manager was completely rude for our entire stay. Other campers had the same perspective on him. It's very clear that he needs to find a new occupation. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the campground was on the highway. It was very loud. The lake and slides were nice and our children enjoyed them. Wifi did not work anywhere in the campground.

Nice, clean campground. We loved all the kids activities. My only complaint is that the noise from the highway is very loud. We were in tents and had to go buy earplugs so we could sleep. But, otherwise we enjoyed ourselves.

The stay was fine but ruined by bad service. The bathrooms were dirty and falling apart. We had an issue with the reservation and very rude service when dealing with the issue. He refused to acknowledge that a mistake was made and kept insisting the we screwed up so he cancelled the reservation. Customer service training is needed here. Please call for more information. I don't have enough space.

Very disappointed this time around. We brought 2 other families with us because we loved our time last year! However the owner or whoever Steve is, is EXTREMELY rude, mean and VERY angry. Many other campers got together and each told their stories on how Steve was rude to them and how they won’t return as well. So sad! My kids love the beach and fishing. Used to be our favorite.

The road noise is overwhelming. The campsite itself is great. The price of renting the kayak, paddle boards etc is perfect. They seem to have had something for the kids planned every time we’ve stayed. The close proximity to Michigan’s Adventure is on spot !

The staff is friendly but it is very close to the highway and it is very loud u can not sleep I ended up leaving a day early because of this it’s terrible I would not recommend it unless u like noise

The staff was very rude to both myself and children. I also watched this behavior with other guests that were interacting with the staff. The grounds we're clean and taken care of but I would not return.

Stayed for a weekend, sites were very big compared to other campgrounds, grounds were clean and restrooms are taken care of, staff was friendly, nice walking trail around the lake.

Nice shaded areas, staff was friendly I've seen other reviews saying that they were not, didn't happen to me. Bathrooms were on the dirty side!

The staff at the campground and atmosphere was perfect but My wife and I wish there were more activities for the younger kids to be able to do like many other KOA’s we have stayed offer. Another nice feature would be something for the kids to enjoy, hand dipped ice cream as an evening snack

Horrible communication. Incredibly rude staff (mainly Steve). Run down facility. Rules for the sake of rules. Does not value customer satisfaction in any way. We will tell everyone we know not to stay here.

The location was perfect and close to everything. Campground/bathrooms/showers were clean. Smaller KOA with less activities but had enough to have fun and keep busy. Bummer there were no pancakes as I thought it was a "KOA thing" and workers were a little crabby. It's nice to see friendly smiling faces while camping!

Shaded sites, good lake for swimming and fishing and nice playground. But, can't use your own kayaks on the lake, too near highway - lots of road noise. MAY have trees for one hammock. Roads are gravel, not great for scooters.

LOVED the beach, lake and jump pillow. My grandsons had a blast. Was also thrilled with the lakefront lot, shaded, and the view in both the evening and morning with the trees on the lake. Everyone was terrific and we totally enjoyed our stay.

First off the manager needs to change his attitude. They need to change the shower curtains in the bathroom. I've stayed at many KOA and tbis is by far the worse. Blowing whilses at the kids talking fown to people like were stupid. Pulled in to check in first thing he said to us was since you pulled in the wrong way let try to show you how to get to your camp site. I don't recommend to anyone

We loved it here! Well maintained campground with lots to do for the kiddos. I have already recommended it to my fertile friend and sister who have a lot of kids. We will be back! We got the lakefront lot and it was so nice having that view. I also like that the lakefront lots come with a grill over the fire pit - very convenient!

Plenty for the kids to do. The rental bikes are way too expensive. Staff wasn't very friendly. Sites are pretty snug. Bathrooms were disgusting, paint peeling, not clean.

Sites are very small, showers are very small, they are not wheel chair accessible. The camp host was very rude. How ever the rest of the staff was very pleasent and helpful. Bathrooms were kept clean, again just small showers.

It had a lot for kids to do! Could use more showers. The cost to stay and visitor policy was a little strict. It costs a lot of extra people at your campsite. But nice bike rentals, kids park and jump pillow. Nice stay

Love the campground everything is great. lots to do for the family and kids. My son loved the bike rentals and zip line. Only negative was the bathroom showers are outdated and the shower curtains need to be changed badly.

Nice KOA, easy to access from highway and good size twin lakes for kids. The jumping pillow is a nice feature.
