The camp was clean and all kids in our party had fun on the water slides; but most of the staff was not very friendly which has not been my experience while camping in many other Michigan campgrounds.

The owner stands around at the entrance watching people - intimidating. When you check in you get a wrist band - annoying. It is a small and cramped campground, but the lake is nice for swimming and fishing. Our biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the restroom/shower. By Sunday AM the paper towel dispenser was empty, the floors were full of dirt/sand, and it was generally unkempt.

Can't say enough about your place. Was in a jam trying to find a place to camp the weekend of 7-26 to 7-28. Web sites for state parks were not updating which left me with a loaded car of camping gear and two passengers with now place to stay. TO THE RESCUE MUSKEGON KOA. Had a cancellation minutes before I called. Was able to fit my party in. Beautiful facility and great people. Will come back!!!!!

Full hook up was great. Rentals were a bit expensive such as bikes, canoes and paddle boat. Showers need updated. The sites were clean and a fire pit at every site was nice.

We have stayed here 3 times in the past. But after this time we will question it. Mainly because of how staff approach campers when it comes to an issue. Top two: 1. Have a designated parking area for check in process so staff member does not yell at you. 2. At check in should have been told that we only can have one vehicle at site, don’t get yelled to move it two days after check in.

Really enjoyed the bathrooms and shower ability. We rented a paddle boat and enjoyed the swimming area.

We had a wonderful stay (as always). This was our first year without the kids, and we still had a blast. My only complaint is the bathrooms. They weren’t awful, but they were a lot messier than previous years.

Nice playground, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Cost seems high for what it was, though... bathrooms are outdated, grounds are fairly rustic despite being full hookup. Hookups were solid, no issues, and staff helped me park accurately.

Owner was very nice. Issue was the water, it was brown after it came thru the filter. The clientele around us had a long way to go to be good campers.

Just stayed one night but it was our second time here. Always clean and comfortable. Employees are exceptional. We will stay again.

We arrived one hour twenty minutes early and was charged six dollars.owener could have been a little nicer about it no one was on site.later that day our children decided to come out for two nights so we went to office and pre paid for them at that time the girl in office told us to just have them pick up there pass. Owner of park was very rude to my family

Every time we saw the owner he was yelling, belittling people either in person or over the phone. If he was correcting the children, it was in a shaming manner. Not a positive environment or experience. I’ll try another KOA but not this one.

We thought it was pretty nice. Bath rooms were a little disgusting. All it would take is two cleanings a day instead of one. 6 am and 3-4 pm. Two toilet stalls were not fit to use for about 16 hrs . Asphalt or concrete outside the doors 15 to 20 ft. Would help keep the tile floors from looking so dirty. Hope this was helpful. We will be back ���

We very much enjoyed camping here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom/showers were pretty well kept for it to be a community bathhouse. The water was perfect. Beach was clean. Nice shaded area for our tent

I told my wife when we left 'if I could change only one thing about this camp Id pave the dirt/gravel roads ' its a very dusty place people fly up the main road into the camp causing heavy dust- settles everywhere and you have to breath it . if people were made to drive 5 mph it would be bearable .

The Muskegon KOA is a small, quiet campground with lots of things for kids to do and spacious sights for campers! The owner was friendly and made sure the rules of the campground were followed. He didn’t hesitate to intervene when people were speeding through the campground or being reckless on a paddle boat while there were children in the water! Thank You!!

Clean sites, friendly staff, Lake and Kayak were fun, next time we want a lake side site. Water was high iron (yellow). Close to Michigan Adventures and Lake Michigan.

A very nice KOA campground. Nice setting on the lake. Staff very accommodating as they came to my rig, picked up my propane bottle, filled it and returned it to the rig. Fishing was great as we caught several small Blue Gill and released them. Great shade on my pull through site.

We only spent one night at this Campground. We didn’t like the fact that the spot was covered in dirt. The women’s bathroom was very outdated and had some kind of curtains under the sinks. It was at least three steps down from our stay at Corbin Kentucky KOA and two steps down from our stay in Elkhart Middlebury KOA.

The camp grounds was nice and clean. The bathrooms could use some upgrading (bigger sinks/all showers that work w/ warm water and same water pressure, more hooks in the bathroom especially in the stalls, the shower doors should open the other way to make easy access to hooks). A family shower would be helpful or a larger shower for those bathing young kids.

Overall good place to stay. Nice clean site with nice fire rings. Water pressure was super low though and only 1 shower was working in the women's restroom. But still a nice place, park was nice, kids loved the jumping pillow and the water slide.

Quick check-in. Lots of activities for kids. Sites about normal size. Store reasonable. Close and convenient to Michigan Adventures. Full hook-up was nice.

Steve and the rest of the employees at the KOA were very friendly and helpful. My granddaughters love the slide and the air mattress. My sister and I love how convenient it was to Lake Michigan and Michigan aventures

We loved the lake. The visitors parking needs cleaned up. The energy output didn’t seem to be quite enough to keep freezer frozen. Got home plugged in and it worked fine. Liked the mature trees. Lots need leveled out. Clean lots.

It was AMAZING!!! First night was exciting to sleep under the stars with my family for our 1st camping experience ever. My family of 5 always had something to do since they had 2 giant water slides and a great beach. New to the whole camping, we still nailed it with sun screen, bonfires and fireworks. KOA is a must go!

girls that worked there were all super cool and nice to our kids the guy by the gate and in the office snapped at my wife in our 2nd day there so we avoided him after that. super close to mi adventure and the kids lived the water slide and jumping pillow at koa

Great place to stay could have some activities for kids on weekends- tie dye shirts,crafts are some examples from other campgrounds. Perhaps a hayride around the lake might be a future idea overall had a wonderful time thanks.

It was great! Nice view of the lake, loved the bike trail too. Everyone was friendly and the campground was very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely go back.

Very rustic KOA, mostly tents and small RVs. Unpaved roads, little grass. No cable of wi fi, bathrooms not kept clean. Owner was very distrustful and unpleasant. Beautiful lake but we couldn’t use our own paddle craft. Decent laundry. Frequent garbage pickup at site, It was quiet at our site because everyone was in or near the lake. We had one of the few motorhomes.

The older gentleman with the mustache needs some better people skills. Especially with kids. The lots needed to be cut (high grass and weeds). The lake/beach was nice. Bathrooms were fine.

Owner/manager was rude, went without power several times over the very hot week with little concern from the staff. Fireworks trash was left on the beach for 24 hours until I cleaned it up. Swimming area was nice, minus constant yelling from staff at kids. Fishing was great, nice walking trail

Nice KOA, easy to access from highway and good size twin lakes for kids. The jumping pillow is a nice feature.
