Tons of mosquitoes. The standing water near our sites should have given us an idea of what we were in for. They did fog nightly and that seemed to help. Who knows what was actually being sprayed so that was concerning. The showers were awful. Mats that hurt your feet and a shower head that blasted you. The kids enjoyed the lake and play areas.

Free internet is nice but only if it works. Your internet never did when I stopped by the office I was told it was just repaired after a bad storm, the young lady said she would get someone to check it out. It never worked during my 4 Road noise is not something that the staff at a RV Parks can do anything about, but US -31 noise will stop me from staying again now that I know about it. .

Very affordable and family friendly anybody can camp on a high budget or a low budget, we will be camping there again here soon,

The campground was beautiful and very clean. This was our 1st time here. We loved that it’s on its own private lakes. We did not like the noise from being right on the freeway (noisy) and the mosquitos were herrendous.

Well, we went there for WI-fi and then they tell us it was down, so we had to keep going McD for their Wi-Fi. It was a real pain.

People were friendly, facilities were clean and well kept. The general store had everything you forgot and the campground was well kept! We loved the fishing and hiking experience you got as well! Didnt even need to leave the campground!

The entire staff was great to work with. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We would definitely staff at the Muskegon KOA again!

We had an amazing time up until the morning we checked out we had to deal with a rude and condescending employee named Mary. If not for her unprofessional behavior this trip would’ve been perfect. IF we stay again we will have to avoid Mary like the plague.

Our stay was GREAT! Bathrooms was also clean and fully stocked all the time. Staff was very friendly. We will be coming back again. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Our Check in was less than what we expect at a KOA, Made a reservation for a 38' motorhome, bought a new 40' MH, Emailed the KOA of this change, No response, show up and was told they might not be able to accommodate, Manager's joke about charging extra for 2 ft did not go over very well. Well we fit easily with coach tow dolly and car on sight. After check in all was fine, clean campground.

Good. Bathrooms need work. Workers smoking on grounds. Not sure if they rake up spots anymore. Ice cream social pretty cool. Fire dance pretty cool. Maybe paint the cement barriers and cut off metal handles. Like new fire pits.

Was very clean. Employees were extremely nice. Only issue was from a barking dog that was constant. I’m assuming they were told to take the dog somewhere else the second day�. After that was an extremely nice weekend. Great weather and lots of fun for my grandsons. Will definitely be back. Oh and the fire show was amazing.

The outdoors were nice and clean. Their plumbing probably needs updating and well as their cleaning staff. Useless. They could really clean the bathrooms a lot better. The shower curtains were brown, and at the top were white. I mean change them. Wash them. The walls by the hand dryer was dirty. No one likes a dirty shower, even the handles could use a good scrub. Staff over all was friendly!

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at KOA of Muskegon. Our lakefront site was fantastic. The people were accommodating. The entertainment on Memorial Weekend was an added bonus. We've already told friends about it and plan to return.

Really well kept. Nice people, friendly staff. Thought the ice cream social with flame throwing entertainment was a great deal of fun! Check in and out was easy. Beautifully kept facility!

Got to see Steve and Mary in action. Very impressed! Rules are rules for good reason. A noncamper was told had to park in visitors lot. He got upset cause he had load of firewood for camping friends. Told outside firewood not permitted...became belligerent...so asked to leave. Campers showed up very upset cause they couldn't understand rules and why they couldn't break them. Told they could leave.

Very neat, small campground with a great owner - very friendly! We pretty much had the place to ourselves as it was pre-season and that was fine with us! The campground is set on a beautiful crystal-clear lake and each site was immaculate. We'll be back.

We stayed at the Muskegon KOA working our way back from a tour of the UP in late October, 2018. We were there very close to the KOA annual closure for the season. The place was virtually empty. We had a beautiful view of the private lake. A little road noise at night but there’s very few campgrounds that don’t. The air was crisp, the sun was shining ,we cooked some steaks. We stayed with Muskegon KOA while attending the Michigan Irish Music Festival. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, even though the mosquitoes were terrible! They fogged for skeeters in the afternoon/early evening, and we were able to enjoy our campfire. It was also our wedding anniversary, so it was nice to enjoy a glass of wine in a peaceful setting. Facilities were nice & clean.

We have worked here since April of this year. We've enjoyed meeting new people from this and other countries. We plan to head out to Wyoming next year to be near our grandkids and hope to find another KOA in Wyoming to work at.

We are new to trailer camping and this was our first trip. Even though we were only five miles from home, it seemed like we were miles away. The staff was great (and very patient I might add). The campground was well kept and the facilities were very clean. Even our little dog, who had never camped before, seemed to enjoy her adventure. We will definitely visit again!

This was our last trip for the year. It was a little cooler but we really liked the campground. Being on the lake and having a trail to walk with the dog was great. A really nice place.

This is a quiet, well kept campground. The staff is helpful and the security is excellent. We have stayed there before and will go back again. We love the peace an quiet and the views of the lake.

Nice KOA, easy to access from highway and good size twin lakes for kids. The jumping pillow is a nice feature.
