We stayed 3 nights. It was a very nice place for a last minute trip. Very quiet, nice lake. Sites are a little too close.

This is our family’s favorite campground. So many activities for the kids to do, it’s great! Owners work to bring in our create special family friendly events on the weekends too. Special considerations for Covid were not out of line. Every year we’ve witnessed improvements to the campground. Reinvestment into their property is evident and appreciated!

While the lake was clean and the kids had fun, the bathrooms were beyond disgusting. In a time that they should be cleaned more, they often appeared to have not been touched at all. Toilets were often unusable and we chose to only shower once during our stay because of how gross the shower stalls were. Hair in the bottom and the curtains looked like they were stained with mildew.

Men’s bathrooms were horrible. Two of the toilets were left clogged and unclean all week. One of the two shelters was also out of order. The old man that ran the place told us we were forbidden. To use the bathrooms because we had a camper. We had an issue with our camper toilet, so we didn’t have a choice. He also called my son and his friend “the little germ boys” every time he saw them

Please clean up the trash along the walk way, please also clean up the beach. The same Juice bottle sat there for three days.

We stayed at KOA before maybe 3 years ago......was very nice....this time our experience was a little different.....park needs serious maintenance and upkeep if you want people to come back and the manager or whoever Steve is needs to be replaced ASAP

Beautiful setting. Good amenities. Unfortunately the music on Fr. night & the drinking man “sorta-sorta not” doing karaoke was so loud we couldn’t have a convo. We were having a nice time. I hate to say it, but it was kind of rude the way he addressed me like I must be a military dependent bc I’m a female, when the lady asked for my military id and he said “you need to be in the military

I enjoyed the campground but the bathrooms were awful. Most toilets plugged. Looked like it only got clean once a day. Soap dispenser empty. Paper towel dispenser with roll sitting sideways in it.

I didn't want to leave, I stayed 2 extra nights. Owner, store employees and security was great!

Our first stay was nice all around. Sites were full and it never felt crowded. Smaller campground, but plenty of things to keep our kids entertained. We enjoyed walking the trail around the lake, playing at the playground and swimming. The water/beach was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was well maintained and clean.. Thank You KOA! We will be back �

We enjoyed our stay. The only criticism is that the restrooms were not in very good condition. Only one of the two showers was working and they needed to be cleaned more than once a day.

The small park was great, we were given a great location, amazing neighbors, it was nearly perfect. However the restrooms were the worse I have experienced even prior to the virus. I am a 7:00 riser and went to the bath room to find every stall with poop in it and one of 2 showers not working. I will not be back, I found it astounding that during these times more attention was not given to these.

It is a nice location and the lake is great for swimming. It seems who ever owns this location doesn't want to put money into the grounds. The Sandy Beach area is full of weeds and some of the lots needed mowing. The camp sites have very little grass, so the dirt areas are very dusty. Nice one night stay, but we stayed for 6 nights. The price per night is too high for this campground.

Our stay was fine besides the quiet hours not being enforced. It prevented us from sleeping for most of the night.

Owner was open about trying to sell the place with me. He didn’t realize that we left our stay 3 nights early because of the poor customer service and ridiculous rules. With all the rules he has, I’m surprised we were allowed to bring our own tent to the campground. The pictures are MUCH nicer than the actual place.

I made sure to wear my mask when inside the office and store. I wish the campground staff would have done the same to help protect their campers.

I felt that their primary goal was find ways to charge additional fees. There is nothing to do while there. It’s like dry camping with hookups. I would not stay there again. Fees are related to cars, family members visiting, etc. Anything they could put a price tag on they did.

Young people shack cabin place...cars in and out all night long....not the KOA that we have ever been to ...charged my son $6 to visit us for one hour...will never go back...

We had a bad experience due to one of the cabins partying until 2:30am both Friday night and Saturday night. The campground did not enforce quite hours and instead allowed for them to be disruptive, play loud music, speak profanity and at one point bust out the rear window of a pick up truck. Completely unacceptable! Bathrooms were dirty needed more frequent cleanings and also needed repairs.

We have been camping at the Muskegon KOA for the last 15 years - it is clean, well run, and just a beautiful campground. The property is well maintained, and the staff are pleasant. I recommend it to friends and family on a regular basis.

Severely buggy. If you can deal with the mosquitoes you will love it. The host put us in a site that you needed a can opener to get into although there were many other open sites. Overnight the campground lost power. We called the office and NEVER received a call back for when power would be restored. Kinda sad experience.

Nice KOA, easy to access from highway and good size twin lakes for kids. The jumping pillow is a nice feature.
