Campgrounds are nominated and selected through public voting. We’re especially grateful to our guests who voted for New Bern KOA and our staff for providing the dedication and level of service that results in such recognition.
New Bern KOA Holiday earned the prestigious KOA ICON Award, which recognizes the top 10% of KOA campgrounds across North America.
This award highlights excellence in operations, strong guest satisfaction scores, and active participation in programs that elevate the camping experience. ICON campgrounds consistently deliver high-quality stays and represent the very best of the KOA brand.
New Bern KOA Holiday earned KOA’s World Class Guest Service designation, awarded to campgrounds with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70 or higher. An NPS score measures customer satisfaction and loyalty by simply asking them how likely they are to recommend a business to a friend. We are proud to maintain a score of 95+ consistently.
This recognition places us among KOA’s top-performing campgrounds nationwide and reflects our commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality guest experiences.
In 2025, New Bern KOA Holiday earned the RV LIFE Best of the Best campground recognition. This award is based entirely on reviews from real RVers. Out of over 20,000 campgrounds listed on the RV LIFE platform, New Bern KOA ranked in the top 25%, reflecting the experiences and feedback of our amazing guests. Thank you for camping with us and helping make our campground one of the best!
In 2019, New Bern KOA Holiday won the most prestigious KOA award: Campground of the Year. The award honors a single campground that has shown exceptional operational performance, business growth, active brand engagement, innovative amenities, and top-tier guest satisfaction backed by camper reviews and high Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
