New Bern KOA Holiday General Information

Fireworks, Firearms, Explosives and Paintball Equipment: Strictly Prohibited

Are not permitted to be displayed at campsites or other areas of the campground.

All fires must be contained in fire rings and attended. Do not move fire rings. No ground fires.

Firewood is available for sale at the camp store.

The pool is open from approximately April 1st - October 1st. Please note there is NO LIFEGUARD on duty. Children under the age of 16 may not swim without an adult present. Hours vary depending on the store's hours.

Our boat ramp will only launch a vessel 14 ft and below. There is a Wildlife Reserve ramp up the road about 2 miles where you can launch and then tie up your vessel in one of our boat slips.

All visitors, please stop by the front to register and obtain a Visitor's pass.

Electric golf carts are allowed on property with a valid proof of insurance. Proof of insurance must be presented at the time of check in. Only licensed and insured drivers may use the golf cart while on the campground.

Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 252-638-2556 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. 

RV & Tent Sites: 7 days cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. seven days before your scheduled arrival.
Camping Cabins: 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA two weeks before your scheduled arrival.
Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.
Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.

Maximum 2 vehicles per site, all must display a park pass and must be within your assigned site - not allowed on any vacant site or on the main road. We provide overflow parking for any additional vehicles that do not fit on your site.

We do not allow tents on our RV sites.  Please book a tent site if you have extra people that want to stay in a tent.

At least one guest in the group on a site must be 21 years of age.

Posted speed limits are for the protection of our campers and pets. Please observe the 5 MPH maximum speed limit.

We proudly carry the Kamp Green designation! Please place your plastics, paper, glass, aluminum cans and cardboard items in the recycle bin near the dumpster.

Join us in the camp store for a cup of coffee, served free every morning from 8AM-12PM!

Pets love camping, and we love pets! Please keep pets leashed and quiet at all times. Always stay with your pet, do not leave outside unattended. Pets are welcome on RV sites for no extra charge and in cabins for a $10 per night per pet plus tax fee. No pets on tent sites or on the playground. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. Always clean up after your pet. Be sure to visit our Kamp K9 play area

Please keep your site clean and orderly. You may place your trash in the dumpsters provided or leave a tied plastic bag at your site post in the morning. DO NOT leave trash out all night; the critters might get it!

10PM - 8AM. Please allow others to get a good night's sleep.

We welcome family reunions and large group gatherings based on availability. Call us at 252-638-2556 for more information and to discuss how we can accommodate your gathering.

We appreciate the many compliments we get on our clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Dish washing is prohibited in the restrooms for sanitary reasons.  Laundry machines accept quarters and are available at the front office.

We pump propane! Whether you have a grill tank, motor home or food truck, we are equipped to pump your propane.
*Check with front office for pricing. Propane filled during regular business hours and cannot be filled after dark.

Check-in is 3:00 PM. Check-out is 11:00 AM. Inquire about early check-in and late check-out, subject to availability, for a $25 fee.
