For a lot of us, camping is about unplugging and escaping the daily grind. But let’s face it, sometimes you still need to log into a Zoom call, check your email, or stream a movie to unwind after a long day of hiking. There is nothing worse than pulling into a mountain campground only to find out you have zero cell service and no internet.
At the Newport / I-40 / Smoky Mountains KOA Journey, we believe you shouldn't have to choose between a peaceful mountain setting and great connectivity.
Whether you’re a "digital nomad" working from your rig or a family trying to keep the kids entertained in the evening, here is how we keep you connected:
We’ve invested in our network infrastructure to ensure our Wi-Fi signal reaches across the park. It's fast, reliable, and ready for your daily tasks.
Thanks to our prime location just off I-40, we don't suffer from the massive signal "dead zones" found deeper in the national park canyons. Major carriers get great reception right here at the campground.
Set up your outdoor office at your site’s picnic table, plug into our reliable 30/50 amp power, and answer emails with a view of the trees.
Work a little, play a lot, and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with staying connected!
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
