Stayed with a group of 21 vans that were unable to ferry to Newfoundland this past weekend. This KOA accommodated us..thank you.

I appreciated being able to stay at this campground without any notice at a time when they were very crowded. The hot shower was also a real treat. I was also able to get a pull-through site that I could easily and quietly get out of very early in the morning.

We had a nice site facing the bay & bridge! The sites are tiered & provide such a wonderful view. Lots a space between sites. They are very helpful in planning adventures for you to go see & do! It was our 41st Anniversary & they directed us to a couple options for supper & that was awesome & the place we chose was spot on from what they told us! Thank You Everyone. This is a family owned place.

The site I had was on the side of a mountain and it was a little scary seeing rocks and warning signs from landslides laying around the campground. The location of the campground is in between The Cabot trail and Sydney which works out great if you’re on a sightseeing tour.

Great staff, beautiful location with great scenery. Location near Cape Breton is a definite plus for the drive around the Cape. Level sites and good hookups, but only 30 amps. Would like to return in the future.

kamping cabin for 1 week was great . Clean cabin , clean washrooms and awesome scenery. Great staff!

Giving a five for the view! We were at the top and some trouble with leveling. Also, sewer connection too high so hose had to be lifted every morning to dump gray tank. But again - the view and the gentleman who played the bagpipes one evening was the cherry on top!!!

Our FHU pull through site was nice and wide with easy in and out. The site was long enough to park our 65' (19.81m) 5th Wheel trailer and truck with room left over for our car without feeling cramped. Had good satellite aim. Laundry facilities need updating badly. Only a cold water wash is available. Had 4 washer but only 2 were working. The dryers worked good but cost $3.00 for 45 minutes.

Superb views. Rocky beach, no pool (was filled with dirt and converted as a dog playground!) Well located for Cabot trail. Clean site. Very good service and kind personnel.

The view is unbelievable, over looking the water and bridge, breath taking. My only negative comment would be the washrooms on the lower level, they should be separate like on the upper level. Overall, I would recommend this location.

The staff were so friendly and helpful This is an amazing stay and I highly recommended staying there. It’s close to the North Sydney ferry and beautiful spot. They were kind to my pup who was scared.

We were very pleased with the friendly management. The facilities were well placed and clean . We really liked the dog park and playground as well as the small beach . The view was excellent ! Traffic noise like truck engine braking was the only negative. We will go back .

The owners go out of their way to get things done when ask or not. Very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were outstanding, best ever we have seen camping! Very organized and everything was it its place. Very much enjoyed our stay. Kudo's to the owners and thier employee's there too!

We stayed in the deluxe cabin...it was adequately equipped and clean. There was a distinct musty smell however. We have stayed at different KOA's and did not feel this would suit families as there was little to occupy children. I did not see any campground events or activities planned. I am not sure if this campground is mostly for long term campers or not. Will look around next time.

Great spot to wait for NL Ferry and tour Cabot Trail. Did some shopping in Sydney.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. There's clean bathrooms and showers, canoe rentals, a playground and mini put on site. The views are outstanding. The staff was incredibly kind.
