Great location. Easy and friendly check in. Great amenities. A little overwhelming with the amount of people and size of the resort but would recommend and will stay again.

Upon our arrival . We informed the woman that we made the reservation for 2 nights and they had us down for 3 nights. We came back in to straighten it out and she told us to talk to the woman in charge. She wouldn’t look us in the eye and kept making huffing noises like we were annoying her She never said a word after and ignored us and it Never got resolved. We just left and went to our site

I would recommend this place if they correct the issue of employees hitting on the wives of guests. I can personally say as I witnessed one hitting on my wife. I have been to several KOA and never had this happened. I am in a mobility scooter and to hit on my wife in my presence is disgusting. A scruffy unshaven thin small man. Points are useless if having a bad time. I was on a roll with KOA �

Everything was fine except for not having any water for quite some time on Sat. We have been staying there for years and found the rates to be rather high also.Cover charge at the shanty seems a bit much also.

on a negative side our site was on a road that had deep potholes, making it very dusty when any vehicle, drove past, and worse when it rained, we got splashed with mud, & water. On a positive side the campgrounds is very clean with plenty of activities. Mike aka (squirrel), was extremely helpful, and knowledgeable, of any issues that occurred at the resort, We will definitely, return next year

I would guess the campground is 90% full/part time snowbird campers. This meant our group was spread out all over the campground. The sites are really close together and hard to back into with streets the width of a one way street but traffic is expected to go both directions. The pool and shanty were great and all the employees were friendly and helpful. Very clean bathrooms as well.

Stayed in travel trailer on Kentucky Ave site 115 Jan 12-24 2022. Close to everything… slight issue with messy tree a lot of leaves fell into slides road had pot holes which filled with rain water entire stay. Neither issues was a game changer. Awesome campground -clean Grounds seemed well maintained -Bathroom clean Entertainment was really good. Fun time at the shanty bar/pool !

We rented a cabin and it was not clean, the blinds were broken the floors were dirty. No housekeeping for the whole 9 days we were there. Had to call and ask for fresh towels. Bedding was not changed Our bbq didn't work properly. Our ac was broken, they came and fixed it but then we had no heat. We had friends so they helped us with heaters for cold nights. Very nice and very clean campground , staff was very friendly and helpful. My only big concern was that are 40 ft coach needed propane and there was no propane company that would deliver propane, so it would be nice if u could of had a propane truck on site to come around and delivery right to are site. Over all the campground is very nice , and was so glad that KOA had a lot for are 40 ft coach.

The park has deteriorated from when we stayed there in past seasons. We rented a cabin and we awoke to no water. We were with another couple and all of us needed to use the shower but were unable to. I called and asked for a manager to call me and was told they would be in on Monday. I received no call. Very disappointed in the service and lack of response by management!

The roads need work in this park. Single lanes, tight turns, and pot holes make for some challenging maneuvering for big rigs. The regular RV sites are VERY close together, and the 50/30 amp back-in sites need more clarification on the website, i.e. it's first-come-first-served for the 50amp plug and if you get there second, you're stuck with 30amps. You couldn't ask for nicer people, though.

Easy booking and friendly staff. Site is well organized and neat with lots of access to showers and laundry which were both clean. Wastewater access service ends need to be updated as a few campers were not able to make a solid connection which causes a light odor in a few spots. That said, management appears to be updating and we would definitely stay here again.

We were there for only a short weekend but were very pleased with our stay. The staff is very accommodating and very helpful! It was a short bike ride to Lake Okeechobee and such a beautiful site. We had a red ant issue by our water hook up and they came within 5mins of me calling the front and took care of them. We will be returning for another great stay!

Tent camped to bicycle - slept in SUV. With so many other amenities offered, you need stronger and consistent WIFI.

We enjoyed our stay. Only thing we had trouble with was the trash pickup the big birds wanted to get in. But over all it was great.

This was my second stay at Okeechobee KOA. First and foremost, I love that pets are welcome in the deluxe cabins. In many KOAs, only the rustic cabins are pet friendly. That is why I chose this one even through it was a little out of the way. Worth it! It was convenient I could get something for dinner there instead of having to bring my own or go off the property. The pool and bar are pluses!!

Nice place to stay at. Plenty of places to walk or bike. Enjoyed the pool area . Just wish we would of had a site that was facing the Sun for December and January months. Hopefully will be able to make it there again next year.

Well the park was not as advertised. It was a rusted out, lawsuit waiting to happen. The site never provided full 50 amp power. There was a transformer not working somewhere. Sharing electric with a first come first serve basis is not a good policy either. Most of the staff seemed quite unhappy with their daily duties. Many broken or not available amenities. Love the location in relation to Lake "O"! Love the amenities.The "bicycle" camp sites were not very user friendly.Street lights that shine right into your tent EQUALS no sleep.RV's, yurts, cabins, 5th wheels all have shades or blinds to block out the street lights but tents are essentially see thru. We got zero sleep which made the next few days rough.PLEASE reposition the lights.......THANKS...

Easy to find, well labeled; we stayed in a camper cabin that was all we needed as we were traveling through. The cabin was dated but very clean and comfortable and quiet. We walked about 5 minutes to the bathroom, also very clean as I don't think too many people use it. The resort people at check in and in the park were super friendly. Windows and door in cabin need some attention.

Excellent stay. I rented cabin K2 while staying in Okeechobee for a long weekend of fishing and relaxing at Lake Okeechobee. The cabin was very clean as were the restrooms. The park is very busy but we had no issues and the grounds were very clean and well kept.

So far it is very hard to tell which KOA I like better this place is outstanding for starters it's huge there are better than 450 campers there there's a convention center a store you can order food I mean this place is crazy you can do nothing or you can do everything they have to offer which is a lot by the way they have all sorts of games you won't be bored here! We highly recommend it!

We only had the time to spend a few nights at the Okeechobee KOA. Most of our time was spent visiting our sister and brother in law who winter at the KOA. We were unable to utilize the many facilities offered. Now my negative comment. There was no Internet available, as advertised, during our stay! Very unfortunate as I needed it for medical reasons.

Liked it, but was disappointed to be in need of a pull through for my 42 ft, had to back into a very small while right next to me were 3 huge pull throughs that were occupied by small pull behinds. I understand scheduling is challenging during the season. $98 a night and ZERO WIFI? Not even powerful for a small laptop. Office said keep looking for a strong signal. Fire aunt issue, got bit 4 time

It was our first time visit and we were so extremely happy that we will be returning. We were on site #149 excellent very welcoming and friendly neighbors. The grounds are very well kept. All dogs were on a leash walked and just loved the pet areas. Pools were very clean and well kept, my grandbaby was able to enjoy the kids pool. The little store very friendly and welcoming staff.

Very friendly, clean, lots of conveniences , and desirable place to stay and come back and revisit. If you are in the Okeechobee FL. area I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Roads real bad. Hook up bad. Only one hose hook up for two sites. Must use smaller pipe and use 2 people to dump. One person has to hold the hose in by foot while one opens valve. Odor leaks out due to not sealing. Cable hook up hard to use cause of location.

Sites are very small and tight for big rigs and 5th wheels. Many sites do not have sufficient room for tow vehicles. Be very careful at entrance and exit to campground. There is an unnecessary and very large speed bump on each as you pull in and leave. Many areas flood during heavy rain and do not drain even after 24 hours.

I was glad to be able to get a reservation on short notice. This time of year, parks are full of “snowbirds”, but I understood that coming in. The staff was helpful and accommodating. My “neighbors” were helpful in guiding me into the tight spot. They also were tolerant of our four Grandsons being noisy and playful during our stay.

Nice. Only here for two weeks. Definitely caters to long termers. Well kept. 9 hole golf course. Nice small store. Small spot. Can't fit the camper and the car. Not much to do around camp ground.
