Drainage after rain nonexistent. Part of a group of about 13 sites and one camper had a problem with office saying they checked in Wednesday and was to check out Monday. But they checked in Thursday and were to check out Tuesday. After several trips to your office apparently you agreed to let them stay. Otherwise nice place!

Golf Course has not been maintained and was closed. We had to dig down and remove grass and dirt around the sewer hookup (we had trouble finding it). Very little maintenance evident at camp sites. It is very sad as this used to be a great place.

Electrical problem Friends had the same problem and the new owners didn’t care at all very disappointed we have been going there for years we will go elsewhere

was told no fireworks yet it happened the whole camp is loud golf carts blaring loud music and nonenglish neighbors cussing me for complaining as they partied all night i came to fish and relax park worker wouldn't tell me where trash dumpsters were either i miss okee-tantee it was quiet no loud music from roads or idiots racing on 441 to keep you up at 3 am this 4th weekend was horrible for me

Camp employees very helpful in answering or assisting with questions. However, the campground itself left much to be desired. Our camp spot wasn't covered in grass like those around us which meant a lot of mud formed when it rained. We were swarmed by flies when we opened food. Adjacent campers did not honor quiet hours. We do not believe political flags should be allowed to be hung at resort.

We’ve been here 7 times and this was the only bad experience we’ve had. The golf course was closed, the shanty was closed and the grounds were not kept up like normal. Bad ants, overgrown sites and weeds everywhere. I heard they sold the property. Bummer because we loved this place.

I’m a long time KOA Okeechobee camper. In short, I was disgusted with campground, the conditions are deplorable. The power did not work on multiple sites. The grass had not been mowed in months. I paid for a premium patio site, the furniture was broken and the grill was missing. I complained to staff and they said, we know this place has gone down the drain with the new owners.

We were camping with another couple and were so disappointed. Our campsite was so overgrown, the grass was above my ankles. The park was not that crowded, knowing you had guest coming to a site it wouldn’t have been that hard to mow the area prior to the arrival. The golf course was a mess. And you parked trouble next to us and we had police cars in front of us at midnight! Not to mention yellin

Roads are all torn up with potholes everywhere. The pads are all broken concrete. The grass hasn’t been mowed and there are ant hills everywhere. Also the cable doesn’t work. Paid 69.30 to stay here and it’s a disgrace!!!

The facilities were quite good, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool area and entertainment was actually quite good. We enjoyed our stay.

The tiki bar was not open but nothing advertised it on website, also sewer connection for screw-in connectors is several inches off the ground and side connectors don’t allow for screw-in connection. Power on 177/178 seemed to have an issue. Staff did a great job with providing entertainment at the adult pool and were very friendly.

We have stayed at the Okeechobee KOA many times. It is great for us because it is only 45 minutes from our home and we do a lot of weekends. We have not been to park for a while with all of the Covid issues. I was pretty taken back this stay as the park has deteriorated and not maintained the way it normally is. No Shanty Lounge and no Wi-Fi. Very disappointed !!! Might not be back !!!!

With the new ownership,I have encountered some issues.I had a paid reservation for a park and store site for 2 months as I have done in the past.I understood the slight price increase however,when I went to the KOA to verify my site I was informed the policy had changed again;another increase in the monthly rate and the electric was not available to run the refrigerator. Grounds need tending too!

Not a good experience , all facilities are stopped due to rain previous day and there are tons n tons of mosquitos....location is good though.

When we arrived for our store and stay we were sent to our site with a clipboard and paperwork. Set up our rigs completed paperwork and then was notified we could not keep our rigs plugged in during the summer. Arrived memorial day weekend property not mode shanty closed no activities. Requesting a refund

Somewhat disappointed that not more was happening - The Shanty, The Lunch Box.... We realize that everyone is still dealing with the Pandemic fallout and look forward to future visits to this KOA.

I am a vacation camper. I personally don’t enjoy having full time campers mixed with vacationing people. Many old campers and lots of stuff sitting outside. Sheds. Also the little canal by golf course has a lot of trash in it that needs cleaned out. The best part was the adult pool. Spots were nice with concrete pads.

The place looked like it wasn't kept up. The grass was 2 ft tall around our elec post. Ants everywhere. I stepped in some red ants when walking. We asked our family campers to be put near us, were told the spot was booked. No one came.

Staff is super nice, and we really liked the attendants on the golf carts keeping up with the trash and keeping watch all thru the day. Love the geese and pond, and the large shade trees. Thank you for being great hosts����

Mostly positive. Didnt appreciate the power outage that we were not told about until it happened due to upgrading electrical equipment near our site. Enjoyed live music by the pool.

We were extremely disappointed being a return customer. We cancelled our month's stay. The golf course looks abandoned. The five workers (used to have 50) said it was not a KOA. The grass when we arrived looked like it had not been mowed for month. The shanty was closed (even though all advertisements say it's open). There was no live music at the pool (even though advert says it is). No refund!

First, no mention was made that THE SHANTY would be closed for what appears to be an indefinite period. We have always enjoyed that spot and the weekend live music. That was a shock especially sine your brochure says THE SHANTY is OPEN. Also ground insect control (fire ants) and airborne (gnats and mosquitoes) is nil. Only saving grace is the adult pool. BTW prices in the shop are outrageous!

Lawn needed mowing,no internet or Wi-Fi and no one could help us to try to get it.the bar was closed and no restaurant open. It was Memorial Day weekend. Had someone singing by the pool Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00. Nothing else. No one to take you to your site yet you could see koa employees riding around in golf carts that could have done that.golf course was pretty sad,needs fixing.

We love staying there with the many amenities that are normally open, such as the shanty but I am heartbroken that your golf course should not be even called A golf course That it has deteriorated to.I believe that is one of the Best perks of staying there so please try to turn it around.

One of the main reasons we came here is for The Shanty. We did not find out that the Shanty was closed due to new owners until we arrived. Complained to the manager but all we got was an oh well.

Grass not cut, cable not working, Golf course a mess, the sites were over capacity and Shanty not open. The only thing that seems to be in order are the pools. Office staff always friendly and helpful is the only positive I can give from this stay. I've stayed at this location many times and it seems to be getting tired and unmaintained.

Nice. Only here for two weeks. Definitely caters to long termers. Well kept. 9 hole golf course. Nice small store. Small spot. Can't fit the camper and the car. Not much to do around camp ground.
