The women’s showers did not have much water flow. At night the bar by the pool was not open. We asked for a tent site and got a camper spot that had no tent pad. Very disappointed

I haven't camped here for a couple of years, and and it doesn't seem to be as well maintained as then. Grass was high around our sites. Was disappointed that the Shanty wasn't open and the lack of activities on the Memorial Day weekend. Was told several times that the park was under new owners, so hopefully the park is just working through transition issues.

The only complaint I had was that it took an entire day to get someone to cut our grass, which was over knee high deep. We always enjoy staying at Okeechobee KOA!

One of our favorite campgrounds! One thing that I will mention is that the grass at our site was really in need of a cut. It was pretty long when we arrived and it was uncomfortable to sit with our feet in the grass because it was so long. Everything else was great and we will be back soon!

We have been going here for several year, very disappointed this time. Workers are all new, not friendly in the least. Lawns needed mowed and sat evening about 7 pm they decide to mow lot next to ours (on a 3 day weekend). 3 day weekend, without any entertainment except Saturday for a couple hours! Golf course looks Dead, as many lots do also

We were very disappointed in the condition of the park. Grass was not cut, no wifi, roads had huge pot holes. The shanty was not open. But the pool was clean and the entertainment was great!

Only stayed there for one night on a trip from SC to the Keys. Staff was very nice. The area we stayed in wasn’t something I was a fan of. Hardly any space and the grass incredibly high. Especially around hook ups.

Thanks to Miss Wendy it was made a bit better. Our camp site had electrical problems. I had reserve 3 months in advance. the power pole was defective. i had reserved 3 sites all together. When we started to have the electrical problem Miss Wendy found me a spot almost across from my daughter. She told me i could use the concrete of my old site to park the 2 trucks & the golf carts total of 4.

We were very disappointed on the maintenance of the grounds. Our site pad was muddy from the electrical workers,' no lawn mowing', tree branches all over the site. Litter on the banks of the waterway behind our site. The events for Memorial Day didn't even meet the standards of last year when we were in a pandemic, not to mention the bar being closed. Hope it gets better.

We had several issues with our stay. 1st we were in a group of 4 & 1 of our people were several sites away. 2nd was there was construction going on in 1 of our groups sites that they had roped off with shovels and cones. 3rd the electric didn't work for another's site and they had to piggy back off of anther site. 4th the grass had not been cut in most of our sites.

On the good side the volunteers and staff were courteous and helpful. On the bad side for a holiday weekend the condition of the park was terrible. The grass and weeds around many of the sites (including ours) was out of control due to lack of maintenance. Complaints made to staff fell on deaf ears. The golf course was in terrible condition and unplayable.

The Campground sucks. It is run down they haven’t cut the grass in who knows how long. Definitely not worth the price . We left a day early, I should have actually tried to get my money back. Will never go there again!

The grass was about 12" high all around our camp site with a few prickly weeds about 24" high. For a Holiday weekend I would have thought that a little clean up of the grass would have gone a long way. The spots we had were so out of level that the front wheels were off the ground when the jacks were level. That is crazy when you are charging almost $100/night. This is not Ft Wilderness.

My stay was great and my wife and I had the most pleasant experience with meeting people and tasting their foods. We love it and we will be back.

Great stay. First time there and we will definitely be back. Quiet and peaceful area even for a holiday weekend. We really enjoyed the pool and live entertainment. Our site was pretty spacious compared to other KOAs we've been too so we were happy about that. The area has a lot to offer. Convenient to all shopping and of course the lake with all that has to offer.

We stayed Memorial Day weekend and we had an amazing time! Great to see all the red white and blue decorations on campers, tents, golf carts, bikes, etc. Pool and bathrooms were super clean! Do wish you would rent golf carts for campers not just golfers.

As long time guests and summer store and stay. The situation with electric use was handled poorly and unfairly. Upon reserving we were told it was fine, as before, to leave on for refrigerator and fees will apply. Friday we were advised differently with our fully stocked fridge and camper. No advance notice! Then find others were compensated for their inconvenience!Any resolution to this issue?

Monthly stays has changed, Prices gone up, the Shanty was closed, camper hook ups are changed,(shared electric hook ups, 30amp, or 50amp hookups. Grounds were not kept up. Wasn't happy this time. Weren't notified about the changes a head of time.

3 months long excellent, but the Shanty was closed most of the time. Hope the new owners keep it friendly and don't change what is working. Golf course is expensive for 9 holes, and needs much more maintenance!

Campground was clean and most kept up. Underground construction was going on and a little noisy at times. Pools were very clean a d refreshing. Did not play golf but the course look ok. We will go back.

Stayed here a full week as a family. Enjoyed it over all but the place needs some major updates. If you plan to play gold get ready for the roughest course you have ever played. The greens and terrible and nothing is mowed. The play area for the kids is outdated but the pool is really nice. Overall nice place but just need to get it up to date.

There were a few items that still have not been addressed since change of ownership. 1. Store is not stocked well 2. Shanty is not open 3. Golf course is not maintained well 4. Lawn maintenance between sites appears not to be done regularly, weeds growing. 5. One site #218 appears to be permanent resident, is very unkept and does not follow the KOA rules of how sites should be kept.

I was very disappointed after hearing so many great things about it. I would of like to know that it had been sold and the golf course was not kept up do to new management. Also you could not rent golf carts. So everything I wanted to do I was unable to do it. Staff was nice but seemed frustrated they could not do the things they wanted to do. Your over charged me for what I got DISAPPOINTED!

I have been going to that KOA for 20 plus years the grass at my site was a foot tall the Shanty lounge was closed no barbecue grills at the cabins very disappointed and no food by the pool also!!

We were so pleasantly surprised Okeechobee KOA is beautiful with two pools one for adults and the big oak trees for shade a driving range and golf course were an unexpected pleasure I definitely will go back

What a wonderful KOA. We have stayed at quite a few, but yours is the best. So many amenities. Always something to do. We had a great time and will definitely be back with friends!

Our charge was incorrect but got it fixed. Lawn had not been mowed at our site for a while. Enjoyed the pool and music

WE come here often & love it! This stay was enjoyable, but the lack of staff is noticeable. The grounds, especially the golf course need serious maintenance (mowing, weeds). The entertainment was good, but would have liked later hours. We purchased baked goods from your lovely Ambassador (Amanda, I think?) to support the KOA Kids cause. We will return! (staffing is hard for all right now)

The campground is beautiful and relaxing. Played 9 holes and the golf course is in terrible condition. Other than that everyone is friendly and facilities are very clean!

It was good for a quick getaway. There was a site that was playing loud music until after midnight on Saturday. Other than that it was fine for us.

We have been coming to the Okeechobee KOA for 25 years! This trip we had an issue with the power on our site. Wendy, her husband and staff were very helpful in getting it resolved. We appreciate the time and assistance they provided. The live music was great and the pool was perfect. We enjoyed ourselves!

It was a very nice weekend. We were looking forward to playing golf...one of the reasons we picked this campground. Terrible golfcourse, worse we've seen. We were hoping it had a restaurant, as online....But, the Shanty was closed. The lite food served from the general store was good. Nice you had music by the Adult pool on Saturday with Tie-dyed tshirts by the family pool...that was very nice!

Nice. Only here for two weeks. Definitely caters to long termers. Well kept. 9 hole golf course. Nice small store. Small spot. Can't fit the camper and the car. Not much to do around camp ground.
