We loved it here! The staff is welcoming and efficient. We like the activities and the whole campground. Love to visit the Shanty- what a neat place.

We picked this place because of the golf course and bringing teens. Golfing was nice but I don't think there was much for the teens to do. Things seemed a bit run down. We were right on top of our neighbor (such small sites). Pool cafe was not open was it was supposed to be so left us struggling for a meal. That being said, guests and employees were very friendly.

It was very nice everyone was friendly, the campground was clean our spot was large only down fall was there was dog poop not picked up on our site which was a little disappointing

Nice campsites. Flyer stated that we could rent bicycles, but this koa does not rent bicycles. The laundry site closest to us had one working washer and 2 working dryers. Other laundry sites also had nonworking machines…created a struggle to get clothes washed timely. Pool area was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff, I would have liked to have been told the road they put us on was being milled and paved.. I may not have stayed there if I was told. Daily price seemed a bit high considering what was offered in the area. VERY busy, (but normal for Florida time of year) small sites but clean and functional. We live in Florida and probably will not pick this campground again

Staff was friendly and garbage pickup at site was efficient. The park was crowded and roadways tight. The laundromats were numerous but the LG washers and Dryers were often down. Our cable box had been destroyed before our arrival. During our stay February) the decided to grind and re-pave the camp roads!? The pool was in good condition but food was limited. Nearby restaurants were just OK.

This was our first-time camping, so everything was new to us. Checking in was fast and the ladies were friendly and helpful. Our lot was close to a restroom/shower facility, and we were amazed on how clean the restrooms are...A+ in our book! To be honest the whole park was clean and quiet. Everyone was helpful! Would definitely return and it made our camping experience a great one!

It was a fun time overall, on the day we were leaving the roads were being widened, which cuts down on the lot size. Our truck barely fit in our lot with the rv parked, We would like to see more activities for the younger generations.

We loved our stay in Okeechobee!!!!! The staf is awesome!!!!! Lots of things to do in the park and close by. We will definitely be back!!!!!!

No internet due to work on the system but we were not told that would be going on when we made reservation. The water was turned off in the area of the park we were in during our stay for assumed repairs. When it came back on there was a strong rotten egg or Sulphur smell for several hours whenever we used water until it washed through.

Informed at check in that our area of the campground was being repaved. They offered to allow us to cancel without penalty.This would have been nice if offered the day before not the day we arrived. There were no other reservations to be had near by. Spent 2 days in the middle of a construction zone(noise and dust). Overall the campground had many amenities but will probably never return to enjoy.

We had an enjoyable time at the KOA. One problem I had was trying to find washers and dryers that didn't have out of order signs on them.

Good CG overall. Most of the roads and sites are narrow. You may need to get vehicles moved to get into or out of your site. Some roads have deep potholes which really need fixing. The pool gets very crowded so be there early if you want somewhere to sit. The mailroom is well run and there are frequent activities.

Yes will probably come back in the future. We were not able to try the amenities offered this time, but would like to try the restaurant. The spaces did seem to be close together. Our site was higher in the middle, and the concrete was broken, so we had to use some blocks to get things leveled. The access roads were narrow. Cars parked close to road making it tough to maneuver.

Our site backed up to the golf course and was ver nice - super sunsets! The roadways had quite a few potholes which should be fixed. Not a lot to do in Okeechobee but walking on the pathway around Lake Okeechobee was wonderful. Fairly convenient for day trips to the beach at Fort Pierce. Pleasant pools - separate one for adults only which was nice. Music at the pool was very nice. A very good KOA.

Lots of amenities and very friendly staff. Only disappointment was the cable and wifi. We were told that this KOA was in the process of repairing and upgrading the cable and wifi.

The staff lies and only cares about long term stays. They do not care about weekenders. They will lie to your face and not care. The bathrooms were dirty, and the roads at the KOA were terrible. There were potholes everywhere. The sites are also WAY too close to each other. I do not recommend anyone to stay here.

Office and staff at the Okeechobee KOA are the best. They work herd to meet your requirements so you can have a great time. Love it there.

We were there for 4 nights in our travel trailer and had an end site which we loved! We used the pool, golf course and work out area. Enjoyed it all and people were very friendly and especially staff member “Squirrel”, he was the best!!

Pros: Nice amenities at a very clean park. We enjoyed the pool area and poolside entertainment. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: The laundry area was set up nicely however many washers and dryers were out of service. Our picnic table was unusable infested with red ants and we were told there were no replacements available. For the price point of this park we should have been given a new table

The sites were okay. Too close for comfort, but well maintained and functional.. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The "regulars" or semi permanent campers, not so much. The traffic through the park was awful. The roads are small and congested. Very stressful trying to get in and out of park. Not a place I would like to stay, buy okay for a stopover.

We loved the activities and variety of things to do. We were a group of 5 sites (retirees) that had made reservations at the same time, yet we were spaced such that other campers were in between us. We would have preferred to be all together in order to make the most of the little space we had. Sites are close and knowing your neighbor would have been better

Nice place just got in a spot that was in the back. The people who lives in the houses behind our camp yelled and partied tell after midnight.

Great amenities !! Pickleball and golf on site was a huge bonus. Unfortunately, the park is a typical stack them in, no breathing room, neighbor within 10 feet place. We had an inconsiderate neighbor. Laundry facilities, while many, we're mostly out of order and internet was horrible

Everything was clean. Nice property. Nice people and employees. Out cable did go in and out and the weather was perfect so not sure why. Otherwise, it was awesome.

Told we had cable no cable when asked front desk they just past the buck. Very close sites… No Wi-Fi we were just really disappointed for the price that you pay.. The G M was supposed to get back to us but never did.Also very poor washer and dryer situation could hardly find one to work.. should be offered a discount until they figure this property out…

As improvements are made the park will be much better. I never had to share 30/50amp in a $95 a night park, let alone have to share a sewer that didn’t even have a 2nd screw in Rv hose pvc end attachment. It’s a $5 part at Home Depot. At a minimum you should immediately ensure all sewer connections can have rv hoses secured with this part now. +more 50amp that is not shared

Nice. Only here for two weeks. Definitely caters to long termers. Well kept. 9 hole golf course. Nice small store. Small spot. Can't fit the camper and the car. Not much to do around camp ground.
