This is my favorite KOA so far. KOA’s are always so convenient And clean. We stayed at eight on our trip from Michigan to Utah And back in June.

Small, easily maneuvered, quiet setting. Just far enough away from things to be relaxing, but, not so far that we had to stress about finding anything we needed. It was perfect!

My two friends and I reserved a premium grass site. There was full grass coverage, which was perfect for our tent, and the site was clean. The entire campground and restrooms/showers were kept very clean. The staff is extremely friendly, informative, and prompt when delivering ice and wood to site. We will definitely be going back!

In a word, relaxing! lots to do at the campground. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Train came through on Friday night and again about 2 am. that was nice to see and hear believe it or not.

Staff was very friendly. Campground was very quiet. Lots for the kids to do. Having ORV trail access was great. Would definitely come back!

Open all showers and rest rooms, no need to keep them closed at this point. If it is deemed necessary to keep them closed then a discount should be offered because of limited services..

Great place however your pool liner needs scrubbing buy the water line very nasty also your dog park needs tlc. Take the time now while Covid has effected the population of campers. Overall nice place nice staff.

Loved our site (78) and will certainly come again pending the availability of that site. We visit friends in Oscoda. Roads could use some gravel to fill low spots. Given the COVID situation we thought the park was wonderful.

Great staff. We had a toilet issue and they were very helpful in solving our problem. Very quiet. Train scared us at first.

The property was at the end of a dead end road; so it was quite secluded but within a five minute drive of downtown Oscoda. Our lot was fairly flat. The only issue we encountered was that the septic hose ran uphill. The managers were very helpful in finding the best location in the lot to set up the trailer.

I loved the campground and the staff. There was a few minor things that could have been better. 1, we rented a cabin, it eludes to the fact that there is an actual kitchen, but no stove, no pans, no cooking utensils etc. That was a little upsetting. 2, The bed sucked. 3, The shower head was old and was more of a stream not a shower. Overall, a great time and great experience and would come back.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA. The campground was very clean. We watched the clean up crew come to a campsite as soon as the campers had left. The staff was very friendly. There were many places of interest to visit in the area. We will surely visit again if we are in the area.

The Oscoda Tawas KOA staff was amazing. On a tightly booked late summer weekend they accommodated our last minute impulse to go camping by splitting our desired dates between two campsites. The transition between sites was no sweat and we will be back!

Dump was not convenient to the site along with too close to neighboring campers. Too expensive for reduction of facilities used. Should be reducing fees for this. Camp sites too close together.

Beautiful campgroun, right near everything we wanted to visit - beaches, downtown and shops. Would definitely stop again if in the area!!

We basically just slept there because we met family in Greenbush each day. The only thing that would be nice is if there was a section for older adults. We are used to going to bed early and the children on each side of us were up late. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Excellent service, from the time I hit the front gate, they escorted me to my site, made sure if I needed anything they were available, it was a good week with no issues and friendly folks

I really like it as far as cleanliness and stuff for the kids to do, and for the most part staff seemed friendly but the sites are very sandy. More sandy than any campground I’ve ever been too. I have three kids and felt I was sweeping our camper all weekend.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Oscoda KOA!! The campground was beautiful and the staff was great. The park was very relaxing. We loved how dark it was at night, making star viewing and campfires exceptional. It was a clean and well cared for park. Thanks for the memories!!

Hi I my dad has a seasonal site there 35 or 34 it's a great campground friendly owners great location fun playground and clean pool nice dog park and nice shady site I would come here everyday of the the year Please go to this campground

Fun camp for the family. The mining experience doesn't take long, but our son loved it. Very nice dog park area with some agility equipment. Our only complaint was the wood we purchased for a camp fire didn't burn well due to being too wet.
