The campground was wonderful. Nicely kept and clean. My cabin was perfect. Lots of amenities at the campground itself and plenty of points of interest to see nearby. The hosts were fabulous and offered to help with anything I needed. I would most definitely recommend the Oscoda-Tawas KOA to my friends and relatives.

The campground layout was very good, plenty of area to walk and visit with other campers. Bathrooms were clean well stocked, Including showers. Staff very friendly, efficient in delivery of ice and wood. Overall excellent experience and will be returning. Stayed in cabin this time but next time will probably take 5th wheel. Arcade room, jumping pillow, and playground for kids.

Wasn't very impressed with this KOA. Bike rentals were in rough shape & no kids events for labor day weekend unfortunately. We stayed in a cabin we were not being that loud honestly and we had staff on a golf cart come to our site at 10:30 to remind us quiet time was at 11:00pm. We were fully aware of the "quiet hours" I just thought that was rude. Firepits are to close. Would not recommend.

The Deluxe cabin is what we stayed in and it was very nice. With 3 younger kids it was definitely the way to go versus tenting for us. The staff were all very friendly, loved that each area had their own fire pit. We will definitely come back in the future!

Our stay at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA was amazing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The amenities were great and the Deluxe Cabin was cleaner than our expectations. We definitely have plans to return.

Nice quiet campground close to East Tawas and oscoda. Stayed in cabin 115 it was big and clean. Loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay- enough to book our cabin for an extra day! Staff was so friendly and helpful and the property was well kept. Minutes from the Au Sable River and the Lake Huron beach front. We will definitely be back! Mosquitos were in full force but tolerable. We enjoyed the train too (comes through at 10 pm and Midnight.) It was fun for the kids to watch it go by at night.

The cabin that we stayed in was the cleanest I’ve ever seen for any place we’ve paid to stay at it. It was a bit disappointing that the pictures on the website and the info on the website didn’t match what was actually there though. The cabin was smaller than the pictures showed online and the grill is a charcoal grill. The fridge is also a mini fridge. It was a wonderful place to stay thoug

water spigot did not work , half of the video games did not work . a few bikes had flat tires and broken clips. , ninja line was broke , jump ball was not offered, Pool was open but was not very heated and too much chlorine Most of the staff was great , Bathrooms and laundry room was clean .

Great first visit! We loved our cabin at KOA. We will be visiting other KOA again for our traveling needs. Definitely would recommend KOA cabins over hotels!!

Some highs, lots of lows. When you make the reservation, you state how many people and how many pets will be coming and get a price. When you arrive, they charge you an extra $10/day per pet - which was pretty slimy in my opinion. The rustic cabin was nice, but about 6' from a swamp- so we got eaten alive on this trip. Train runs along the campground and goes by twice a night to wake you up.

We came to the area to visit family as my husband is from that area. Not being from the area I was a little worried when some people in town were a little rude to us at a restaurant. When we arrived at the KOA, the staff was nothing but amazing! I let a staff member know when riding the train ride my son was autistic and right away she told me she had me covered as her son was as. We had a blast!

Enjoyed the cabin. Very clean. Bathrooms clean. Pool clean and warm. We rented bikes a couple time and I felt that was very expensive. For 3 kids and myself, it cost me almost $30 every time we did it.

Fun camp for the family. The mining experience doesn't take long, but our son loved it. Very nice dog park area with some agility equipment. Our only complaint was the wood we purchased for a camp fire didn't burn well due to being too wet.
