I felt they did not make an effort to keep our group together. We were so spread out much of our time was spent walking from place to place instead of enjoying our time together. One of the kids on the playground threw sand in an adults face and I was told he might be a grandkid of an employee there.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is false. None of our grandkids or our work camper grandkids were at the campgroud at this time.

We had the best time, even with many of the activities cancelled due to COVID. The rental bikes are a real plus and we found the staff to be very welcoming. Very family friendly, super quiet park. We are coming back in 3 weeks for another weekend and can’t wait!

Had the outside showers closed but the ones inside the bathroom open. Whole campground sharing two showers don’t work. Still cannot see the sense of having only 2 open. Don’t change anything except make it almost impossible to get a shower. Either none open or all open. But like so much about the way we are treating Covid so much goes against all common sense including this. Was very unhappy

Very nice stay Enjoy the quiet surroundings. Slightly disappointed by the smoker running every day creating such a ridiculous atmosphere everyday at dinner that we could not sit outside and eat

Loved the camground, however the sites were all sand and dirt. Workers were fabulous.

Overall, a very nice campground facility that is well maintained. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We were in a site that was very close to the playground and it was very loud. If you enjoy a more quiet camping experience, I recommend a site far from the playground. In comparison, we did find the sites here to be close together and would have preferred a little more space.

We loved our stay here! The campgrounds were very well maintained and the showers and bathrooms were always clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was our first KOA experience and we will definitely look for another one.

We enjoyed this campground. My only complaint would be that apparently laundry is for full time RV’s or extended stay guests. We were there for only 2 nights, so we had to go into town and go to a laundromat. We’ve stayed at many KOA’s, and this is the only one with laundry restrictions. Other than that, it was very well kept and clean. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.

KOA campgrounds are not our first choice for a place to stay. Your campground is the EXCEPTION however. Your grounds are so clean. Your staff is so friendly and helpful. Your sites are very spacious. There are many activities for all ages. You handled the Covid situation seamlessly. We were made to feel like family from our first interaction. We plan to return. Thank you for everything

We have been coming to the Oscoda KOA every July for the last 13 years. Everyone has always been so great to deal with. The campsite is well maintained and everyone is great to deal with.

I would appreciate the faucets in the showers to shut off completely. Each time I went in the Men’s bathroom the #2 showers was dripping. Granted I was able to shut it off with extra nudge. I appreciated working fans in the bathroom and showers. People / staff were above average and pleasant and helpful.

Nice campground, the person checking us in was not in a good mood or stressed because of the rules regarding Michigan’s lock down. Either way, she did not present herself as wanting us to ever return. Probably won’t, and that is a shame. They did allow us to do laundry later in the night, which was nice. But it is no wonder the place was half full compote the other parks which were full.

My family and I stayed for one week. There were some activities not available because of the virus, which we were aware of before we arrived. Mr. Mike and his whole staff worked hard to make this pretty campground a clean, safe place. They wore masks whenever in contact with people. The kids were excited that the train ride was still on, and the pool and playground were still open.

Nice site, full hook up with cable tv, pull through. This is the 4th year we have been camping here. With covid19 did not use the pool or some of the other equipment but still had a nice time.

Site was nice. Area was quiet. We did not enjoy the train that came through at 10:30pm and again around 12:30 am, but it only happened Friday night so not a huge deal. With Covid most kid activities were closed but we will come back to this area again. Overall nice stay

We show up late wasn't really sure were to go a gentlemen can out to help us after hours. He directed us to our site and even helped in backing into area. All week long all employees were very friendly

We had a great time at the KOA!! Even with the current restrictions in place, we were able to enjoy all the amenities and have a nice, relaxing week.

The sites are nice and big, but they are mostly made up of this dirt and sand mixture that gets everywhere and generally just makes you feel dirty the whole time. Also there’s a train that comes through every weeknight about 11, twice. It’s literally on the other side of the gate of the campground. They pull the horn for about 20 seconds each time. It’s says nothing about this on the webs

Hi I my dad has a seasonal site there 35 or 34 it's a great campground friendly owners great location fun playground and clean pool nice dog park and nice shady site I would come here everyday of the the year Please go to this campground

Fun camp for the family. The mining experience doesn't take long, but our son loved it. Very nice dog park area with some agility equipment. Our only complaint was the wood we purchased for a camp fire didn't burn well due to being too wet.
