This was our first experience RV camping and we couldn't have been more happy with the Oscoda / Tawas KOA. The staff was very friendly, the park was very clean and well maintained and the bathrooms were always SPOTLESS!!! They are doing a terrific job and we would definitely come back.

We had a nice, peaceful time. Loved all there was to do there and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The grounds were very clean and picked up.

Great stay! Nice sized spots! Quiet campground. Other than train at night but no big deal and doesn’t run on weekends. Would have gave five stars if pool was bigger. Will go back. Owners are amazing.

We had an awesome stay at Oscoda KOA. Was impressed by the friendly staff upon arrival. Very organized check-in process, staff are quick and attentive to any matter. We were guided to our site by a staff member, he helped me position out trailer on the site, showed me where the hook ups were and made sure we were all set before he left. They park is very well kept up and clean. You are great!

When we arrived, we did the curbside check in, which was quick and easy. We did not expect to be escorted to our campsite and even guided my husband which way to turn in, he loved that! The hosts were really friendly and even gave us some great spots to visit in town. Plenty for the kids to do. We will definitely come back.

very friendly and helpful staff. Ready to help at anytime. Campgrounds are kept immaculate and each space has lots of room. Even though it was packed for the Labor Day weekend the campground was quiet. We will definitely return.

Didn’t realize this campground was on a railroad track - train woke us up twice. Lots were all dirt, rock, acorns, and shaded. No water access from campground - had to drive to see water. Pool was tiny. Not worth the daily rate.

Great campgrounds with a great staff. Planning on seeing them next year. Hopefully we will be COVID free by then.

Except for the nightly freight train going by the campground we had a good time. Everyone seemed to take the coronavirus safety recommendations seriously. It was a joy to see all the small children enjoying themselves. The "Sunrise Side" of the lower peninsula of Michigan is less "touristy" than the West coast, but we like it like that.

My 3yo had tons of fun. He loved the jumping pillow and the train rides. He also got to swim in the swimming pool and play on the playground. Both days we were there he kept saying “best day ever!”. He loved it. Everyone was very friendly. We had a great time.

Staff were nice. Did not use facilities but all appeared clean. Only complaint is the fire ring was pretty far from the camper pad and down a hill. Made it a little awkward. Otherwise very nice and pleasant stay.

As always, a very nice campground, with super great people working! Even though it was a holiday weekend, they handled it nicely. Nice deep sites, too.

The campground was very quiet despite being fully booked for Labor Day Weekend. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The campsites were very clean and kept up well. It's within a short distance of the Lake and some great state parks. Definitely will stay here again!

It’s a very fun and clean campground ! Ours kids liked the all terrain bikes ! Perfect place to stay and visit Oscoda area !

This is my favorite KOA so far. KOA’s are always so convenient And clean. We stayed at eight on our trip from Michigan to Utah And back in June.

Small, easily maneuvered, quiet setting. Just far enough away from things to be relaxing, but, not so far that we had to stress about finding anything we needed. It was perfect!

My two friends and I reserved a premium grass site. There was full grass coverage, which was perfect for our tent, and the site was clean. The entire campground and restrooms/showers were kept very clean. The staff is extremely friendly, informative, and prompt when delivering ice and wood to site. We will definitely be going back!

In a word, relaxing! lots to do at the campground. Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Train came through on Friday night and again about 2 am. that was nice to see and hear believe it or not.

Open all showers and rest rooms, no need to keep them closed at this point. If it is deemed necessary to keep them closed then a discount should be offered because of limited services..

Great place however your pool liner needs scrubbing buy the water line very nasty also your dog park needs tlc. Take the time now while Covid has effected the population of campers. Overall nice place nice staff.

Loved our site (78) and will certainly come again pending the availability of that site. We visit friends in Oscoda. Roads could use some gravel to fill low spots. Given the COVID situation we thought the park was wonderful.

Great staff. We had a toilet issue and they were very helpful in solving our problem. Very quiet. Train scared us at first.

The property was at the end of a dead end road; so it was quite secluded but within a five minute drive of downtown Oscoda. Our lot was fairly flat. The only issue we encountered was that the septic hose ran uphill. The managers were very helpful in finding the best location in the lot to set up the trailer.

We enjoyed our stay at the Oscoda/Tawas KOA. The campground was very clean. We watched the clean up crew come to a campsite as soon as the campers had left. The staff was very friendly. There were many places of interest to visit in the area. We will surely visit again if we are in the area.

Fun camp for the family. The mining experience doesn't take long, but our son loved it. Very nice dog park area with some agility equipment. Our only complaint was the wood we purchased for a camp fire didn't burn well due to being too wet.
