Great stay. A bit dusty. Sites especially WF ones are a bit tight. The bugs Midges are rough. But a really nicely layed out campground. Good amenities. Very friendly and professional staff.

Normally KOA staff is very friendly and try to accommodate as much as possible. The activity coordinator was the only friendly person we came into contact with during our stay. Company also needs to post updates on available amenities according the the day of the week, month etc. For a remote location the store was only open on the weekend, we were told due to staffing. I was hoping we would love

The sites are too close together. Our rented RV had filthy floors. Please provide a recycling program for plastic, glass and metal containers.

The campground is vast and adequate space between sites. Need a much better store. Also I was expecting some kind of beach for sitting on-not swimming off a pier. Swimming pool would be nice. We enjoyed our stay but based on other KOA’s we have visited, this ones amenities fell short. Staff was wonderful and helpful. The water pressure was non existent. Advertising suggests it is on or near the beach, yet it is 30 miles away. Very disappointed, no pools, no beach, old people can't necessarily climb ladders to take a dip, nothing to do for older folks with no kids, and an uneasy feeling We will not be back. Shortened our trip there by three days and moved onto Virginia Beach KOA. Very much better and accommodating! Thank you!

We were unhappy with the spacing of the sites and being able to look in your neighbor's windows and hear all of their conversations. We also had very low water pressure, did not see any activities, so between high winds, white caps, and bugs, it all added up to a dismal vacation. We left four days early, deciding not to torture ourselves any longer, and went to stay at a nice state campground.

Beautiful park, water pressure was hit or miss! Loved sunsets and sunrises! Loved walking around and seeing people enjoying themselves! Everyone was super nice!

The campground, even though it is early spring, is infested with bugs. The water pressure is to low. All of the roads and every site needs to be re-groveled. The extreme lack of gravel makes the entire campground dusty and dirty. Not one staff member came over to our site to welcome us or ask how we were doing. Your staff members need to obey the posted 10 mph speed limit - they do not! Some are.

Thank you for your feedback. We hate the bugs too! The water pressure has been resolved. We have not had rain since April and it does make our roads dusty. Fortunately, we lease our golf carts and they all have a low speed feature on them. Our front desk staff gives a big Welcome to all our guests and we hope you had a great experience with us.

Our family loved every minute of our stay. Many activities for our kids to stay busy and enjoy their selves. Nothing to complain about but a pool would definitely top this campground off. We will be booking for next year without a doubt.

Very pleasant. Recommend KOA rake sites before campers arrive. Also recommende adjusting water pressure - very limited. As you continue to add on, a basketball area would be nice as well as a pool. Teens need something to do & they normally enjoy basketball. Thank you for your kindness.

The one big problem we had were the bugs. Not the fact that there were a lot of them it was the bathrooms. We are PUP campers so we rely on bathrooms and you could not walk in the door because they were coated with bugs and then when you go inside the wall and the ceiling was also coated with bugs and the floor, sink and toilet were coated with dead bugs. We had a great time. Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The park was clean and convenient to places that we wanted to see. The only bad thing that I saw was a commode in the men's bathroom leaked around the bottom. With that exception, everything was great. We are making plans to go back to the Currituck Sound KOA.

Sites are very small for the rate paid and very rocky...also no water pressure at all....beautiful view but sites and water need work to ask the rate you are. Store was out of most things also....

View and location nice, but room between sites is the smallest I have ever seen, water pressure was non-existent and electricity interruptions were annoying. Store stocks were minimal and line items available were few.

Another awesome stay here at KOA Currituck. This time we were in a cabin which was awesome. Fully loaded with everything you may need. Beautiful views, all amenities in the cabin were functional and clean. Tons for the kids to do throughout the weekend, and awesome customer service. This place is worth a visit and we will be repeat customers!

Upon checking in to a cabin, at $290 a night,we had no running water. Basically we're told we'll you can use the bath house. You certainly can't cook in there. I mean the amount of $ you pay to stay is not worth it. Get a hotel. I spoke to the manager and she assured me she would issue us a gift certificate for a weekend future date by email, never received one. Very disappointing.

We checked in on 5/9/21 and even though there were numerous site open we were given a site with a large electrical box's on the site which really blocked most of our view unless we moved everything behind the camper. I have a gauge on my regulator and water pressure was never above 20 psi, we had to fill our tank and use the water pump in our trailer to have any kind of pressure in the camper.

The water pressure was so low our demand water heater would not turn on and heat water most of the day. Poor signage to find the place no KOA sign where you turn off the main road. Did not take you to your site . Hard to see where the office is me and the trailer in front of us drove by it sign said stop and register but can't see the office well. Store not open when hours say. Bugs bad!!!

Would have rated higher but cleaning the grills and firepits between guest is needed. Even state parks do that. Wasn't aware of the swarm of flying bugs covering everything until it happened. Grass needs to be mowed more often. Understand that this is just getting on it's feet. Staff is awesome ! Looking forward to coming back in August but upgraded to a cottage so I can have a screened in porch.

Nice campground, beautiful scenery and sooo peaceful and quiet. Hope the water pressure issue gets resolved, nearly impossibe to take a shower. We understand all business is having trouble getting help so the store was closed and a grocery is at least an hour round trip.

Wonderful site on the sound. We are seniors and appreciated the mid week quiet. Nice walking trails. Hubby enjoyed fishing from his kayak.

The campground is great for families. They have a park, piers, dog park, shop, arcade, showers, everything! The customer service has always been great too, the people are kind. I would like to see more trees around the campground. But it was a great stay for a quick camping trip.
