Great campground and we had a fantastic time. Really enjoyed the sunrises from our site. The only complaint we have is the very low water pressure in the mornings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The campground is very well maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. We will definitely recommend this campground to our friends and will go back again ourselves.

Great campground ,staff was awesome, sights were great but the water pressure was very disappointing the entire time we were there witch was a week, I am not interested in returning unless water problems are fixed or upgraded sorry because we liked the campground other wise

Very nice stay. Only recommendation is to work on the water pressure. It was so poor we had to fill our tank and use our water pump. Others around us were having to do the same. Would like to see more wifi repeaters installed. For having a premium site we had very limited wifi. One we stepped outside and went to our patio furniture it was gone. The views were outstanding.

Had a great site. Weather was amazing. Location was great to sightsee and shop. People were helpful and friendly!! I'll be back next year for sure!!

The check-in was easy and the site was easy to back into. The site was mostly level. We were right on the water with an upgraded patio. It was actually more of a deck with the furniture. The firepit was nice. Our view was beautiful. I really liked the late checkout. We stayed until after 4pm, so we got almost another day of camping and relaxing!

I was disappointed that the store closes Sunday at 5:00 and didn’t open again into Wednesday. We were in the middle of a corn hole game, we signed out the bean bags to play, and the girl that works there said she needed them back because they were closing at 5:00. So, Fun is canceled at the campground at 5:00 on a Sunday. The water taxi wasn’t working either.

We had a fabulous time during our 5-night stay! Our deluxe cabin was clean and well-stocked. My only complaint is that the water pressure in the sink and shower was not great, but the water pressure was much better in the bathhouse, so I just showered there as it was close and convenient.The staff I encountered were very friendly and the grounds were well-maintained. I would come back in a second!

Would recommend perhaps increasing water pressure and perhaps a sign that designates the swim pier is not for fishing, therefore saving your staff from continually telling customers not to fish off swim pier. Look forward to visiting again in the future!!

The views are outstanding and on most days you can see The Currituck Sound Lighthouse across the sound in Corolla. We spent a week at this KOA and really enjoyed most of our time. The sunrises and sunsets were great and we enjoyed walks along the sound and through the wooded area. The facility is a new KOA and has few amenities. The one negative were the campers behind us Friday & Saturday.

Great view, very clean, and all employees super nice and helpful. Water pressure was low not to nit pick but that was the only thing under a five star.

Beautiful property. Great trails. We saw turtles laying eggs, baby geese and loved the ponds. Not sure about having to sign a video and picture waiver, though. That's a first.

Nice place. Clean, great location. No pool if you want that. Good place to swim if you want to swim in Sound. Too cold for that while we were there. Looks like ferry would be great during summer season..

Your water pressure was very low which dropped the rating a lot. The staff was fine, friendly, did keep the place up and clean. My lot was great with plenty of room but the water lots were packed in except the rental units. You also need a Pool and maybe a miniature golf - there is nothing around. Once you build up a bit I may come back. The water pressure issue was big - it dropped you to fair

Awful customer service lots of attitude in office, cheap paper towels, awful silverware, pots pans nothing for the oven, awful water pressure, cabin are clean nice but need better cookware and silverware. Bring you own pots pans silverware, coffee(not coffee pods) paper towels coffee filters coffee cups firewood be prepared for lots of winds as well. Camp store is a joke, spoiled bacon for sale.

The campground has potential with the space and beaches on the Currituck sound, but it is ill-planned and poorly maintained. First we were in a pull through as requested, but all the trees had been removed in order to jam the sites so that there was no breathing room in the site we were assigned. It was not level. They were turned the wrong way for viewing in a motorhome.

Very nice camp ground. Very clean and friendly staff. The only problem was the sewer connection was higher then my black dump valve. I had to lift the hose several time to empty. Since the camp ground was close to sea level I understand why the dump was high. I would stay again.

Not the best KOA that I have stayed at. Little to no water pressure. $89 a night plus a $4.99 a night amenity fee for what amenities? Upon going to my assigned site it was blocked by a picnic table that I had to move. Why put a picnic table in the middle of a site that is assigned in advance.

Beautiful grounds and camp spots. Nice bath house. Very clean . Great internet service. Water pressure was low both mornings and the hot/cold water fluctuations was almost too much for a shower in the bath house. Night lights are needed.

The setting is very nice. It is beautiful to walk alongside the sound and the nature trail was nice. I would have rated them much higher but the water pressure is nearly nonexistent. We have traveled over 70 000 miles and been to hundreds of campgrounds in 3 years. This is by far the poorest water pressure we have experienced around the country. They should advise you at reservation

Beautiful views of the sound. The cabin was clean and comfortable, but the water pressure was very, very weak, so made showering a challenge. There was only one small towel rack in the bathroom, which made it hard to hang wet towels to dry. Also, hardly any place to hang anything in the entire cabin. I would recommend putting hooks and/or racks throughout the cabin.

We had a water front sight.. Which was beautiful. However the water pressure coming off the hydrant was 20psi or less. Also when they laid out the sewer dumps the elevation was outta wack. My hose had to run up hill... And yes I use a hose support. Having to walk your garbage all the way to the other end of the park to dispose of wasn't fun either. Either go back with site pickup or add dumpsters.

Only negative was many sites need to be regraded ... ours was rough & not level, requiring over 2 inches of blocking for our camper side to side level. Given how much the site had settled since last grading the septic outlet from our camper was lower than site septic making dumping our tanks troublesome. Regrading would cure these issues. Staff was A++, view was A++, Wifi & Cable was A+++.

The Front Desk folks are very nice people. Overall the grounds are nice , but could use some more improvements such as a swimming pool, more outside playground equipment and they need to work on the water pressure for the campground, it was low that I could pee harder than what was coming out of my shower. Normally I use a regulator, I had to remove mine and hook direct, it was some improvement.

We stayed two nights in a deluxe cabin and absolutely loved it! The views are spectacular, and very nice walking trails and convenient amenities. Will absolutely be repeating this experience!

Beautiful campground and great time! Staff is always helpful and friendly! Only complaint was that they didn't have enough larger adult tee shirts for tie-dye and there were lots of people who wanted them and that the boat to Corolla is still not running! We will be back though!

The campground is great for families. They have a park, piers, dog park, shop, arcade, showers, everything! The customer service has always been great too, the people are kind. I would like to see more trees around the campground. But it was a great stay for a quick camping trip.
