Nice location on Currituck Sound allowing kayak access and great views. Cindy and Thor were great hosts and very helpful . Spotty internet was distracting as was the narrow roadway access. Clean facility. Staff was attentive. Will go again.

Close to relatives, so we chose this KOA. Beautiful views, as we had a back in site right on the Sound. Everyone friendly, Clean grounds, & plenty of things for kids to do. Water lily Rd a little too narrow, but if you drive slow, you’ll be okay. About 30 mins to drive to the outer banks, which made it ideal visit.

My stay here was awesome as usual. We have visited here several times and always enjoy it. The only issue I had was the lack of assistance this time at the tye dye event. I understand being short staffed and everything but the few ladies that were there were not giving any kind of direction on how to do it or anything. We also felt the the haunted trail was better last year with driving carts

KOA was very accommodating. There were four couples/campers making reservations at different times and KOA made sure we were able to camp together. Great staff, easy check in.

My only complaint is the massive amounts of dog poop on my site behind were the camper sat on the water sites…

We had 4 calm days at this beautiful location, we couldn't believe or luck! Then Thursday hit, and a swarm of families rolled in, each with dozens of scream children. There was no respect of site boundaries, we had kids riding their bikes and people walking between where our car was parked and our motorhome, dogs tied up outside barking at all hours. We could not wait to leave Sunday morning.

Had a wonderful stay, the grounds are beautiful and the employees were very kind and helpful. Tent sites are a bit close together, and it would have been nice if they were closer to the water or had a better view

We had an absolute blast. The kids really enjoyed the playground and bounce pad. The trick-or-treating and Terror Trail were so much fun. We were even able to do some hiking on the nature trails and enjoy all of the piers. Such a great time! We will definitely be back in the near future!

Poor water pressure. Sites mostly dirt and grass - very little gravel. Sites too close. Expensive for what you get. Laundry room way too small. Could hardly get to washers & dryers with laundry basket. Our neighbor's fire pit was behind our trailer so they were right behind our back window.

Enjoyed all of the things to do but thought there was a contest for costumes and site decorations but did not see any way to vote on these things. Had my picks ready but didn't know how to vote! Enjoyed it all anyway! Will definitely do it again

We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was very nice inside and the view of the Currituck Sound was absolutely fantastic. This campground is spacious and offers many places to relax in solitude. We will definitely visit this KOA, again.

Our 3rd time choosing a Back-in Waterfront site at this beautiful KOA! Amazing location and had a wonderful prime rib dinner at Coinjock Marina Restaurant!

The only thing good about this stay was the haunted forest. Staff members were very rude. No lights for the kids to play on the playground after dark. Bugs are bad and no trash pick up. Just nothing to do there. No swimming pool.

Beautiful location, with amazing path by the water. Nice fire pits, picnic tables, hookups and amenities. Bugs are quite annoying, but just need to be sure your door is not open for long. Long drive to town, but perfect for time on/near the Sound!

KOAOBX is by far our favorite KOA to stay at! The Deluxe Cabins are all located on the water so you get a beautiful full from sun up to sun down! The staff is always super friendly and there is almost always some kind of weekend event going on as well. It's pet friendly so we can take our lady dog with us and she can feel comfortable while we're out swimming in the sound or riding golf carts.

Almost every last staff member we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I would suggest is if there was a way to have some one clean the golf carts before they are rented out. Over all pretty satisfying stay.

We had an incredible weekend at this KOA. The waterfront sites are nothing short of amazing. Loved the chairs by the firepits, the decks with furniture, the views, the customer service of the entire staff, boat ramps... the only drawback we noticed were the spider webs in the bath houses; granted we are camping, but, I could have done without the added Halloween ambiance. We will be back!

Fantastic staff. As a newbee in the world of RV, we had a lot of questions about set up and hook up. The staff of KOA was awesome( especially Thor) We can't wait to get back to the camp ground

Nice place,but a weird setup. Tons of wide open fields, and my camper was in so tight to my neighbor, he and his dog watched me eat dinner from 10 feet away. No privacy, and trash cans are a 1/4 mile away.

Stayed in a cabin and had to clean it before we could sit outside because it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in months. Inside had cobwebs hanging everywhere and floor wasn’t even swept. For the price, this is NOT something we should have to do. We told the office, but they didn’t offer to come and clean anything ���‍���

We had a neighbor that blared his music for 48 hrs it was horrible. Everyone asked him to turn it down but he turned it up. The koa folks should have done something. It rained 6 of the 8 days we were there. That’s Mother Nature!!

There was just a couple things not to like about this park. Of course it's by a marsh. So, bugs is to be expected. A suggestion is, to make southbound traffic some better signs to the turn off of 168. This park was well maintained. Staff was friendly. We stayed at F2. Lots of space and pretty level. Wifi was excellent.Have t-mobile, and had service. Will stay there again.

It was a nice stay and the grandkids lived the playground. The sites are really close and you can hear each other talking.

The campground is great for families. They have a park, piers, dog park, shop, arcade, showers, everything! The customer service has always been great too, the people are kind. I would like to see more trees around the campground. But it was a great stay for a quick camping trip.
