Our goal: to achieve our motto "Where Memories Are Made"
Meet the Family Behind the CampgroundAt Ludington East / Pere Marquette KOA Holiday, the campground is more than just a place to stay—it's a place where families connect, traditions begin, and memories are made. That philosophy starts with General Manager Michele Stone and her family. Michele and her husband Josh, along with their son, believe that camping and travel bring families closer together. Their love for adventure and the outdoors has taken them across the United States, from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. Exploring new places, meeting new people, and experiencing the beauty of the country has helped shape their vision for what a campground experience should be. For the Stone family, a campground should feel welcoming the moment guests arrive—like visiting friends who are excited you're there. Michele brings that mindset into her leadership every day. She focuses on creating a family-friendly atmosphere filled with themed weekends, activities for kids and adults, and plenty of opportunities for guests to relax, play, and connect. Josh and their son are often part of the campground experience as well. Whether helping with activities, greeting guests, or simply enjoying the campground alongside visiting families, they are a reminder that this campground is truly run with a family-first spirit. When the Stone family isn't hosting campers, they love continuing their own adventures—traveling, exploring new destinations, and discovering new outdoor experiences together. Those travels constantly inspire new ideas for events, activities, and ways to make every stay at Ludington East / Pere Marquette KOA special. For Michele and her family, the goal is simple: to create a place where guests feel at home, where kids can run and play, and where every visit becomes a tradition families look forward to year after year.Around the campfire, that's where the best stories begin—and the Stone family is proud to be part of yours. That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
