I absolutely love this place and the people who run it. This is the second time that we have stayed here. The only things that would make it better would be more washers and dryers (2 of each is simply not enough for the size of this park) and playing the weekend movies softer so that those of us who like to go to bed earlier can actually go to sleep.

We stayed for 10 days. Our campsite was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and attentive to anything we needed.

Improvements are nice, they seem to be heading in the right direction. The staff was very friendly and helpful, definitely would stay there again!

We were greeted immediately when we pulled up- didn't even have to get out and go into the office to check in. It was done "curbside" from a golf cart and we were taken straight to our campsite. Very nice grounds, tons of kids activities. Outstanding host and staff. The ONLY disadvantage is the distance to activities outside the campground (30-60 minutes to most activities).

This campground is by far 1 of my favorite KOA’s! It was so nice being able to get away from all the craziness going on and enjoy a week with my family! The store had everything you needed and the activities were a big hit with our kids ranging in age from 9-16! The gigantic beach ball during the pool party was super cool! All of the employees were super helpful and friendly especially Kyla!

There was a mix up with our site and some comments made regarding that were not pleasant. Certain activities did not follow the state requirements and we therefore could not enjoy them.

Joel and his staff were amazing. Very helpful and pleasant. A true vacation when you don't have to worry about anything! We will definitely be going back!

We had a great time! Lots of things to help create great memories with our son. The only less than great experience was, while in the pool, several adults chose to sit on the steps in the shallow end for quite a long time, which left little room for the younger kids to play. Other than that, everything was great!

This is the second time we’ve been there and once again, it did not disappoint! Everything was beautiful! I just wish we could have stayed longer!

We had a lovely tent site, shaded and spacious. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The campground was much quieter and more peaceful than similar campgrounds we have stayed in. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, even delivered firewood to our campsite! We hope to return to this beautiful area again, and will try to camp here again.

Very clean and well maintained. Owners are very friendly and care about their business. Only recommendation is the site has no activities except for Friday and Saturday. Being there Monday through Wednesday had no activities and there were quite a few campers there. For families with kids, Friday and Saturday is incredible. For other days, not so much.

Great place! The young person who checked us in was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We rented a cabin and a tent. The trail was easy to find and a beautiful walk. The camp seemed to quite full - most spaces taken - but overall quiet. We plan to go back.

Very nice quite spot away from all hustle and bustle. Joel is doing a great job on upgrading the campgrounds we stayed in a newly renovated site and was great. We will be back!

Great accommodations had deluxe 3 bed 2 bath cabin. Great pool. Some things could have provided a more comfortable stay. The cabin did not have good lighting many burned out bulbs. Linen pkg lacked kitchen and bath hand towels. ( I asked was told it was provided). I did not bring extra. Pots and pans were awful to cook with and need replaced. Staff were very nice. Enjoyed our stay.

The campground is in its infantcy and needs major upgrades before I would recommend this KOA. The staff were very nice and helped out each guest as they arrived. Our site (25) was all sandy dirt and faced west which gave no relief from the blazing sun. The location required us to drive 40+ minutes, each way, to get to the closest town. I don’t think we’ll be returning there. I wish them luck!

Great stay as always. Staff here is the best. Always helpful and the friendliest anywhere. Joel and Lydia go over and above to make you feel welcome and if you need something they will go out of their way to help. If you don't try this KOA campground out your missing a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed 3 nights at a premium site which was close to the pool, bounce pillow and outdoor movie screen. While we enjoyed the benefits of the premium site, the blaring music from the pool was a big turn off. I know there will be noise being so close to the activities but this is the first KOA we've stayed at where there was blaring music at the pool ALL DAY LONG. Not relaxing at our site at all!

Lydia and Joel are freaking amazing! They have so much going on and yet made you feel like you were all they had happening every time you spoke with them. Super helpful, loved that they would deliver things to the site for those that wanted more social distance, or simply didn't want to walk to the store. Totally amazing time!

We stayed at this campground over the 4th of July weekend. Our son and grandkids stayed with a RV as well. We all had a wonderful time with the activities for kids, making new friends, fire works and friendly helpful staff on a very busy weekend for the campground. It was a memorable holiday weekend and we would recommend this campground for families or couples. Very nice host and facilities.

Campground was clean. Staff was very friendly. The only downside was that the posted daily scedule was for the previous holiday weekend and many of the activities were not available. The old schedule stayed up at the campground throughout our stay.

Joel and Lydia are great hosts and know quite a bit about the area. Bathrooms are clean as well as the rest of the park. We already booked a trip for this upcoming October before we left!!

The people running the campground were always there to help quickly. The store met our needs every time. The only thing I was disappointed in was on our last night of staying, therewas a movie that started around 9:45 that was very loud. Our family was enjoying an outstanding peaceful evening around campfire and cooking hamburgers. The movie started and we no longer could hear each other. So sad.

We love how quiet the park was, plenty of trees to shade us. We love the daily texts sent to keep us up to date on daily activities and most of all we love the friendly staff. We have been sharing our experience with family and friends.

Good wifi, lovely pool, helpful staff. Loved the site map text prior to our arrival. Waitiing on text or email for credit from online reservation for two sites, when we only booked for one. Kids loved jump pillow!

Wonderful vacation spot clean spacious rustic cabin, beautiful inground pool, loved the outside movie nights by the fire, the fireworks went way beyond our expectations, and the staff and camp store met all our families needs thanks for the over the top vacation.

We are KOA members so we’ve been to many KOA campgrounds and the Ludington East has the best staff. We appreciated all the fun things for our kids to enjoy but also the quietness of our site. We will be back! Thank you!

Loved the place but have been disappointed the last 2x's camping visits at KOA our firewood has been wet...... YOU EXPLAIN TO A WIFE NO SMORES.....AGAIN. Wrapping the wood in plastic may not be a good idea. Bring my own next time.

Had a great stay. The park was clean and had many great amenities. The staff was friendly, informative and assisted us with anything we needed. Our site was as advertised. The activities were terrific and fun. My family had a great time.

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
