We have been going to Ludington Pere/Marquette for 4 yrs now and every year it seems a little better. Very clean park. Kid Friendly. Staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back again.

Warm welcome, super easy check in, escorted to site with unexpected pull through for quick easy set up. The kids loved the pool, jumping pillow and sandy playground (“sliding down the sand dune”). The sites were big and grassy. We were so surprised by how quiet the campground was. Thanks for a great vacation from Covid.

The stay was wonderful!!! Joel & Lydia and the entire staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. There are things to improve but after talking with Joel, so many things are in the works. It will be exciting to see everything when it’s finished. Great place and owners. We already booked our next stay with them!!

The owners are very friendly. Lots of activity for kids. The site we stayed at was very crowded to other sites. Not much privacy. They are opening a new section soon which looks to be a great addition to the campground. We will be back when this opens to check it out.

We had an awesome time! The campgrounds were nice, the store and bathrooms clean, and fully stocked, all the employees were warm and inviting. Loved it, and we definitely will be back!

Great location, everything you need. Hospitality is great, it feels like your at home. Great park for kids with something to do all the time. Staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.

Super nice owner, lovely wooded setting, our only problem was loose dogs, rowdy kids, and campers without any camping etiquette. Rules just need better enforcement because sites are close together. We enjoyed our stay though!

The folks at this particular Koa went above and beyond our expectations. We were going to be drenched from the above average rainfall and they offered to accommodate all 4 of us in a cabin. We appreciate their excellent service n can't wait to stay again.

A very well organized place. Owners and attendants were everywhere that they needed to be. The place attracts a nice group of campers that loves the out of doors, while being very respectful to other campers. The kids will love this place. A great place to get fresh air, lots of exercise, and a quiet night of rest. It's off the beaten path - but that is what makes it special.

We did like the campground very nice and clean with every thing in working order. The staff was very helpful and friendly made us feel very good to be there. Activity well planned and looked like it was something to do for every one. I will stay there again.

Rented a 5th trailer, it was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. I had my RZR side by side up, and was able to drive it right to the little manistee trail. The campground looks great, and I will be excited to see expansion.

We had an awesome time! We stayed in a deluxe cabin, it was very clean and the staff was so nice and accommodating! Nice quiet location, close to Lake Michigan, great place for a getaway!

The stay was wonderful and very accommodating. The owners were very nice and were available for any questions when needed. The space was off the beaten path, yet roomy enough for us to get our 40' rig in. We loved it!

This is a great place to stay with tons of stuff to do. The family that owns and manages this property is very helpful at all times and could not be any friendlier.

Joel & Lydia are great hosts! They helped us get a mobile service to repair a nail in our camper tire. The Halloween celebration was fun except for the weather.

Thought I was over charged, $1400 for weekly cabin rental? Hard to find camogroup personnel. I will be back but will watch charges closer

Although it was late in the season I think the office should have been open more. Women’s bathroom was never cleaned in the three nights we were there. It wasn’t really dirty but the floor had the same leaf and dead fly the whole stay. The owner was nice. The only reason we wouldn’t stay again is it was too far out from Ludington where we were doing our hiking.

Enjoyed the cabin that we stayed in - clean and comfortable. Just couldn’t figure out on how to get the tv going to play some movies. Not sure if it was not having a controller available

End of Season Review: This place is beautiful. We rented a cabin for a few days relaxation. You can tell that the kids programs are great in the summer. We came at the end of season, so it was pretty chilly. The doors of the showers and bathrooms were propped open, the sewage drain from the flowed directly under the showers - not pleasant when trying to bathe. Maybe they need to address this

Very compact campground, the large spots are very close and have odd layouts for hookups and site gravel around the fire pit but the patios are nice. We will probably be back.

Ludington East KOA, well, it is so far from Ludington. All the roads are dirt and the sites are dirt. Terrible when it rains. We tried to get out of our stay,gave them 48 hours notice and the two options they gave us was if they can book our site, mind you there was only about 3 of us there, or give us a rain check for 2019. You close oct 15 but turned the hot water off, never was the office open.

It was a nice campground. We didn’t see the owners much, and I would have liked to had a chance to talk more as I’ve considered looking into the franchise myself. It was off-season, so I understand but it was harder to get a feel for all that they offer. The park did seem clean but again we were one of maybe 5 sites staying. Didn’t get a chance to check out, the office was closed.

Great campground. We enjoyed out stay I would have liked to give it 4.5 stars if that was possible. The ONLY negative was the location. 10 miles closer to Ludington would have been perfect. Everyone was friendly, site was clean and easy to back into and the evening were quiet and restful.

This is one of my favorite KOA locations. It is clean, stocked, and there are great options. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and stays in communication about events and options. I meet up with a friend once a year for a camping weekend, and this will continue to be our spot. Great place and great people. Thank you for a wonderful stay and experience!

We spent a 3 day weekend at this KOA with no issues what so ever after a late check in. The camp store was closed when we arrived but the check in was easy as we used the directions and slip provided to us on the outside of the store. The host are wonderful, very accommodating to ensured our stay was pleasant. The campground was very clean and set up nicely.We will be back for another great stay.

The only thing that would make this KOA better would be if the sites were gravel pads. Gorgeous location! Clean facility! Lots of entertain for the kids!

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
