Awesome campground. The owners are super! They go above and beyond to make sure every camper is happy. I rank them as the most hospitable camp ground owners I have ever meet. The grounds are extremely well kept and beautiful. Great job! Can’t wait to comeback.

This KOA is well placed for a base camp. The staff was helpful, friendly, and polite. The facility was clean and organized. The only draw back was the poor Wi-Fi and cell service and that was not the fault of the camp.

It was a crowded holiday week and the staff struggled to keep up. They were friendly and attentive but the bathroom was less than stellar for all those people. My site was nicely situated, shady and far enough away from the crowds.

This was our first time at this KOA and we enjoyed every minute of it! The owners are fabulous and willing to help at any time! The kids loved the bounce pillow and the pool was great! Endured a tremendous rain storm while there, but the owners still made time to take care of the campers. Will definitly be coming back again, hopefully with a bigger group of campers!

While the weather wasn't the best for a day, we still had a great time. The staff is AMAZING. So accommodating and pleasant all the time. Even during a day of solid rain they were delivering breakfast, pizzas and goodies from the store. The campground is very well maintained - they are proud of it and it shows.

Beautiful park and friendly people. During the week it is very quiet. On the weekends it is much busier. It is a bit of a drive to get anywhere.;

This place is awesome. Tent camping was a blast. Beautiful woods, thoughtful neighbors, great pool, fantastic hosts and so much to do! We actually came back from Ludington beach just to be back at the KOA!

Back from 10 day stay. Surrounded by trees, this KOA has a rustic feel. Not one mosquito! Activities multiple times a day for the kids. Adults had a wine tasting activity. There were fireworks on July 5th. Pool parties were a lot of fun & the outdoor movies were entertaining. Wood & ice always available. Baldwin Canoe picks up & drops off at this KOA. Owners are hands on & genuinely friendly.

Located in the middle of the Manistee National Forest and no troubles with mosquitos, we were amazed! Owners both so nice and helpful. Very much a family friendly place with a ton of activities. We had a 30 AMP full hook up and it was nice. They came to sight with our wood and helped us get parked. The new cabins they have built also look fab, may need to try those some time too. Great stay.

Poor management of tent sites and from discussions with other campers not a great experience. We took the Ludington Ferry SS Badger from Manitowoc to Ludington and consequently got in late (8pm ish) but no one around to discus the site assigned to us. No electric, but paid upfront for this as my wife is handicapped, tent site not raked ... most tent campers don’t bring a rake ... just a not good

We are so very sorry for any confusion. We do have an intercom available to any and all guests at all hours. We would have been happy to assist in any way. We hope we get the opportunity to make your stay great in the future.

We were a VERY late arrival but when we got there, the campground manager was waiting for us. He showed us to our sight (and gave us a closer and more accessible sight for our quick stay). We found the facilities to be immaculate, the staff friendly, engaging and helpful. Wish we had been able to stay longer but we will definitely be back!

Stay was great, the people where great, but the rest room.and shower facility is out dated and limited, had quite a walk to use the facility, should be more than one.

Absolutely the best camping experience ever. We would definitely recommend this place to any one . The kids loved ever minute and the had plenty of things to do around the campground.

WOW !!! What a great place !! Staff are wonderful ! There are sooo many activities throughout the day on the campsite for everyone to enjoy. And a firework on July 4th weekend !!! We also went around the surrounding areas with our dogs for hikes and swimming in the lakes. We asked for a corner campsite,away from all activates so it is very nice and quite for us !! Definitely will return !!

Very nice small KOA. Hosts are great and put on a impressive fireworks display for a Campground of its size. Wifi is not the best, so make sure you bring your own internet access.

The staff was great and very helpful. Great pool and good activities for the kids. Very expensive for what you get. Ridiculous that you have to pay to play mini golf on a very poor course. (Was not really a course at all!)

Thank you for your feed back. We have now changed the name to Park Putt and it is a mix between putt-putt and golf. $3 and you get to keep the golf ball and play for your entire stay. We hope you come back and try it out! We also run free events all weekend long as well as the pool, other games and jumping pillow FREE too!

Good and prompt service by Joel. Location a little bit remote. Our campsites were located midst tall and matured trees. 2 cabins and a tent sire were all located next to each other which helped our large group of 20 to spend most of the time together.

Had a great time at Ludington East/ Pere Marquette River KOA! We stayed the week of the 4th of July! Joel and Lydia helped answer any questions we had and suggested things to do near the area. Really liked getting the texts telling us what was going on at the campground, there really wasn't much downtime with so many things going on! Really nice campground and nice staff as well!

Can't wait to come back :) would love to see electric and water at the tent sites! Also, anything possible with the amount of large size ants? Site 6 had a LOT of them. Maybe consider a bath/shower building up in tenting area? Loved movie night, ice cream sundaes, and Joel is a natural born customer pleaser! Thanks for a great stay, and we will be back :)

Beautiful quiet KOA in a park like settings. The hosts are delightful and always around if you need anything. Great place for family reunions with a house, cabins, tents and RV. Pool, bounce pad, playground and movies. Have fun and go. Not far from Ludington.

We went for a five day camping trip with our friends and got one of their combo sites. This is our second time there and we like it very much, for the way we like to camp. It is very woodsy and off the beaten path. This might not be for everyone though. It’s misleading to say it’s Ludington because that is 40 miles away, but we knew that in advance.

Joel and the staff are very welcoming, they rise above expectations. We never camped at a koa before, only primitive camping, but now we have kids. This Koa has the best of both worlds with the rustic camp sites and a short walk down to the main area for a ton of family activities. We feel that after staying here, we definitely will stay again and would recommend this location to anyone.

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
