Joel, Dennis, shanna(sorry didn’t get a glance at your name tag as we talked from afar) you guys were amazing. Joel, you were so personable! These guys have a great texting system that I cannot say how great it was! You want some firewood, a USB charging block, a case of beer, text em and ask and they deliver! Next time I’m bringing cash to tip, but these days you don’t know who takes cash!

My son loved all the things to do. We had a good site in the shade without a ton of people around but still close to the activities. We could barely pull our son away from the pool and jump pad

My family enjoyed our stay there for 5 days. Beautiful park, many activities for the kids and adults. Text alerts for different activites Pull though sites were tight but adequate. Grass was minimal with mostly stone and sand. NO shade. Next time we'll choose back in with full hook ups which are in the wooded areas of the campground. Very courteous & friendly service!

This was our first stay at a KOA and I will only go to KOAs in the future. I kept saying this place is like a campground version of a hotel or a cruise. The staff were excellent and accommodating. My kids loved all the activities

Nice campground. Loved the full hookup rustic sites. No cell service or internet at most of the campground, but that necessarily wasn’t a bad thing.

Absolutely will be back!!!! WE LOVED IT! just wish the bathroom was closer. Everything was super clean, our dog loved kamp k9, and the pool was super clean. Cannot wait to be back.

Stayed in the hobbit cabin which felt new but was missing some finishing touches. The WiFi was spotty at best. The bathrooms needed cleaning and were in need of an update. The dog run space was nice but needed a mowing.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We welcome all feedback for improvements to our new hobbit cabin. The WiFi is frustrating but being surrounded by a National Forest makes it hard to find internet providers. Cleaning the bathrooms is a top priority of ours & we're sorry for your experience. We hope you will give us another chance.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The campsites (ours was 245) seemed large and for the most part, level. Utilities were rather new and worked well. I understand additional toilets and showers are to be set up in the upper section we were in, which is the biggest downside at present. The showers and toilets at the main building were adequate with only minor waiting time during the weekend

For the third year in a row, this KOA has knocked it out of the park! Very well maintained sites and amenities. Owners are fabulous! The sites that our group had were amazing! We will be back next year!

A fantastic campsite with a very polite and wonderful staff. Lots to do for little kids, the playground is especially cool. My kids really enjoyed the late night activities such as the movies, ice cream, etc. We will be coming back in the future.

I stayed in a cabin. The site was lovely. The cabin smelled really bad. I think a dog had an accident and it is now soaked into the floor. The mattresses was super hard! I did manage to sleep on them. The kids loved the activities. Especially the bouncy pillow and the pool. Overall I would stay again

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our cleaning staff worked extra hard to clean the cabin & correct the pet issue. As far as the mattress, we will look into getting something not as firm. On your next stay please let us know right away any issues and we will do our best to fix them.

Joel and Lydia operate a top-notch campground. Customer service was always excellent. The swimming pool is always a favorite activity for the kids. Great location.

Cabin was not clean. We had to wait an hour to get in. Our guests were given a free pass to get in, but we were not offered anything to make up for the inconvenience. Nice pool and friendly checkin.

This KOA is the "summer camp" campground you dream about! Everyone was incredibly kind and knowledgeable about nearly everything in the area and camping in general. The staff at this KOA should be raved about! We loved our site, super quiet and tranquil, and loved the pool! We had a wonderful vacation and will be sure to recommend this KOA.

What a great place! Our family rented a cabin and we had such a great weekend away. It was supplied with everything we needed and was super clean! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and honestly one of the best customer service places we have stayed. The campground was well kept and the activities it provided for our 7 and 9 year old were spot on. We will be back!

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
