The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to make the stay a great experience. However, the accommodations need some maintenance. We stayed in the RV and the rain seeped in and made the carpet wet. Also, there seemed to be an infestations of bugs. The tv in the bedroom area wasn’t working. I felt we should have gotten a discount for the things that were lacking.

Great stay. Great campground. Joel and Lydia, the owners, care so much about the campers and are always so helpful and cordial. One of the best KOA campgrounds we've stayed at in the nation. Love to watch as they expand this campground. If you don't stay here at least once to check it out, your missing out. Can't wait to come back and stay again. We give it a 5+* rating!!!!

Absolutely love this campground! Staff was so friendly and accommodating. This is the first campground I have found that has your own private fenced in yard for your furry family members!! Camp site’s are large and ours backed up to the woods. We can’t wait to camp there again. 5 stars �

We absolutely loved our tent site, and the children’s activities were lots of fun! This was our first time using KOA and we will be back. Our son loved it! Beautiful, well kept place with great communication from the owners.

The stay was good and enjoyable. It was a great idea to have a delivery service because of Covid. The only reason I gave 2 stars and I am not likely to recommend this site is because they stole my money. I canceled a site within the proper amount of time and will not receive a refund. They hid that fact that the weekend I chose was a "holiday". They are unwilling to help me get my money back.

1st time @ this KOA someone met us as we were pulling in and escorted to our site and helped my husband back it in! Awesome The good service continued on. Loved Bob the mascot�ϋ��� We will be back And hope to see Bob.

We loved our stay at KOA Ludington East! We had a site backing to the woods which was great, and we really enjoyed the beautiful fall colors at the campground and trail at Manistee Forest! The kids had lots of fun at the playground, the jumping pillow and trick or treating! Thank you for a great stay!

We had 3 campers and 2 rustic cabins for a family weekend. The weather was rainy/misty all weekend but the campground forged on as usual. I was very impressed by that. I dont even think the kids (and there were quite a few) even noticed the weather. The facilities were very very clean. The restrooms were awesome! Would definately recommend to all my friends and family and will return!

We love this campground! The staff there is great, the campground is clean and my daughter loves all the activities! We've visited in the summer and fall and had a great time both times. I highly recommend KOA Ludington!

We’ve stayed here twice, once up front and once in the back. The back is new and the sites are much larger, which is nice and more private. We did their Halloween weekend and my boys had fun. The owner is nice and will help you find your site and get you set up. He even allowed us to pull in VS backing in so we could face our friends in the site next to us. Overall nice place. This is the friendliest campground, the owners are absolutely amazing, they are working so hard to make sure everyone has something to do all the time and they're constantly improving! Our 7 year old asks if we can live there every time we go. Make sure you bring the kitties snacks.

Had a good time. Our Hosts were great. Only suggestion I have is a little more gravel at site 7,that is where we stayed. It is a premium site but the sand was kind of overwhelming.

KOA people were friendly, flexible, and helpful! The communication regarding how to find the site and avoid construction closures was timely and helpful...and humorous. The tent sites and cabin sites were spacious and beautifully forested. I hope to return for a longer visit one of these days!

Very nice campground with a variety of site types located in a beautiful woodsy area. Owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed during one of the Halloween themed weekends. They went all out with activities and fun for all ages. Very family friendly environment.

I honestly can't say enough good things about the KOA. From the text messages updating us on the detour to all the fun activities they had going on at the campground. It was a pleasant stay from start to finish. The 2 adorable camp kitties Bob and Mouse made the stay even better. Bob quickly became my best friend. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will for sure be back!

2nd time staying here in the last 3 years. Very impressed on how they have come along. Very accommodating to issues that had come up this weekend with us. Even though the weather didn’t cooperate with all of their scheduled events, they still did an amazing job... Will definitely stay again.. �

We had a great 4 night stay at the KOA. The staff was super friendly and always smiling. The campground was clean and had a nice layout. Nice play area for kids and awesome trampoline. Will definitely return for another stay!!!

It was our first time staying at this campground and it was amazing. Gear towards family and kids. Our kids who are 2 years old and 5 years old loved it. There was much for them to do. The staff was amazing super nice and accommodating. We will for sure be coming back to this campground.

The park provided the best reminders of events via text messaging of any park we have been to. The remoteness of the park was not what we were looking for.

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
