The campground itself was amazing! A little crowded but so many fun activities and things to do! The “glamping” accommodations were definitely not as pictured on the website and were a little bit of a disappointment but it worked out.

We loved everything about this family vacation! The staff was friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean! Enjoyed the luxury camping in the deluxe cabin. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Despite Covid19 and everything closed up we still had a fantastic time with our family camping. This is one of our favorite KOA campgrounds and the hard work and everything the owners put in to making each camping trip enjoyable shows and we return year after year.

Great place! The young person who checked us in was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We rented a cabin and a tent. The trail was easy to find and a beautiful walk. The camp seemed to quite full - most spaces taken - but overall quiet. We plan to go back.

Great accommodations had deluxe 3 bed 2 bath cabin. Great pool. Some things could have provided a more comfortable stay. The cabin did not have good lighting many burned out bulbs. Linen pkg lacked kitchen and bath hand towels. ( I asked was told it was provided). I did not bring extra. Pots and pans were awful to cook with and need replaced. Staff were very nice. Enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this campground over the 4th of July weekend. Our son and grandkids stayed with a RV as well. We all had a wonderful time with the activities for kids, making new friends, fire works and friendly helpful staff on a very busy weekend for the campground. It was a memorable holiday weekend and we would recommend this campground for families or couples. Very nice host and facilities.

Wonderful vacation spot clean spacious rustic cabin, beautiful inground pool, loved the outside movie nights by the fire, the fireworks went way beyond our expectations, and the staff and camp store met all our families needs thanks for the over the top vacation.

Loved the place but have been disappointed the last 2x's camping visits at KOA our firewood has been wet...... YOU EXPLAIN TO A WIFE NO SMORES.....AGAIN. Wrapping the wood in plastic may not be a good idea. Bring my own next time.

Staying at the Ludington KOA has become an annual tradition for our family over the 4th of July and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. The owners work hard to create a safe and wonderful experience for families with a little bit of something for everyone.

It was the greatest July 4 vacation any one could ever ask for. We have 2 children and there was an amazing amount of kids for them to play with plus KOA had a huge list of children activities for then to do all day. Don't forget about the fantastic pool. The fireworks show right in the Campground was wonderful, can't wait to be back. Thank you very much

Wonderful and fun place to camp with your family. The cabins are very nice. Would not recommend though if you're looking for trails/a quiet time for adult groups.

Our deluxe cabin was clean & accommodating at check-in. The kids enjoyed the pool & jump pillow. There was a lot on construction going on & it was pretty loud at times. I understand there's no perfect time to complete this during the summer months, but it was slightly disruptive to the otherwise peaceful & serene campground location. Overall, we enjoyed our trip & would return for another stay.

I enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately one of the days it rained all day. We didn't bring any DVDs for the kids, the tv wouldn't work without a pin for the amazon box, I was very disappointed with the deluxe cabin. The door was broken to the bunks by someone who stayed previously so we couldn't close it so once we put the kids to bed we had to stay out of the cabin until we were ready for bed.

We had a great stay. The cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a great location for the kids to play. The store hours were short which would be our only “complaint”

We have a large family and that includes four special needs kids, so camping isn’t much fun for us, but we had a great time! The cabins were just what we wanted and there was plenty to keep the kids busy and having fun. The staff is so friendly and sweet to our kids! Loved it!

It was great!! Kids loved the pool, movie, pool party, and the campsite was super nice. Spacious!! Cabin K1 was very close to pool, store, bathrooms. We will request this one again. Only downside for some is very close to the noise and occasional loud music. It didn't bother us and I'm sure they would adjust volume if we asked. We wanted to be this close and knew what to expect:) Thanks again!

Zero compensation for the fact I paid $200 for a hot tub that didn't work an was surrounded by glass, asked twice to clean. feces in cupboards with dishes in the first cabin. Told manager all this and didn't even get an apology. Second night I text the store 40 minutes before they closed for a pizza. They text me back ten minutes before close to say they were closing. Moving to Emerson lake resort

We had a great stay and will return again this summer. We rented the basic camping cabin for 2 nights. The entire experience was contact free which was great. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. The pool was the best part. And the bathrooms were sparking clean with hot water. Thank you. We will be back again many times, with family, soon.

Best campground we’ve ever been to! Great for kids! Staff is PHENOMENAL! Joel is an amazing human! Brett nice and “ON IT” when you need something! Planning many many more trips up there to Ludington/Pere Marquette area! Place was so clean, the vacay rental cabin was awesome, clean, quiet and comfortable! We never wanted to leave!!! Until next time!

My wife and I spent two nights in a deluxe cabin at this campground and found it to be everything we expected. The cabin was clean, cozy and well furnished. We really enjoyed the outdoor porch and fire pit area. The owners were extremely helpful and pleasant to visit with. We definitely will return for another visit.

The stay was wonderful!!! Joel & Lydia and the entire staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. There are things to improve but after talking with Joel, so many things are in the works. It will be exciting to see everything when it’s finished. Great place and owners. We already booked our next stay with them!!

Rented a 5th trailer, it was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. I had my RZR side by side up, and was able to drive it right to the little manistee trail. The campground looks great, and I will be excited to see expansion.

We had an awesome time! We stayed in a deluxe cabin, it was very clean and the staff was so nice and accommodating! Nice quiet location, close to Lake Michigan, great place for a getaway!

Enjoyed the cabin that we stayed in - clean and comfortable. Just couldn’t figure out on how to get the tv going to play some movies. Not sure if it was not having a controller available

End of Season Review: This place is beautiful. We rented a cabin for a few days relaxation. You can tell that the kids programs are great in the summer. We came at the end of season, so it was pretty chilly. The doors of the showers and bathrooms were propped open, the sewage drain from the flowed directly under the showers - not pleasant when trying to bathe. Maybe they need to address this

It was a nice campground. We didn’t see the owners much, and I would have liked to had a chance to talk more as I’ve considered looking into the franchise myself. It was off-season, so I understand but it was harder to get a feel for all that they offer. The park did seem clean but again we were one of maybe 5 sites staying. Didn’t get a chance to check out, the office was closed.

This is one of my favorite KOA locations. It is clean, stocked, and there are great options. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and stays in communication about events and options. I meet up with a friend once a year for a camping weekend, and this will continue to be our spot. Great place and great people. Thank you for a wonderful stay and experience!

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
