Joel and the team are absolutely amazing! We have been coming here for 3 years now and will continue to do so for many more. Love all the activities that they plan for the kids � Thanks for another great trip!

Pros: Nice campground, friendly staff and loads of activities. We stayed in one of the spacious sites and it was great. Cons: The location is remote. A 30min drive to the state park and the town. It’s inconvenient if you want to do shopping and explore the area. And almost everything comes with a cost- even wagon rides- which is rare because most of campgrounds offer activities for free.

Wonderful staff, clean facilities and the deluxe site with swings at the fire pit were fantastic. We will return next season.

We had a great stay at Ludington East KOA. The campground was clean and well maintained. We had a lot of room at our site. We appreciate all of the activities the staff had planned and were updated via text during our stay. The staff delivered wood or any other amenities to our camp site. The camp store was stocked with any items you may need. I can't say enough about how great the staff were.

Our favorite KOA and campground in general! Our son loves it here and we’ve started bringing other family and friends with us. They all love it! We’ve already booked three trips for next year.

Stay was nice, lots to do! Love the text about stuff going on feel they are doing a awesome job with the park and kids activities. The only thing that we were kind of disappointed in were no internet at all and I says it has it when you look it up on line

Beautiful forested campground and great staff. Fun activities for children and adults. Rustic site 221 was HUGE with good privacy, surrounded by trees. The music from the pool could be heard echoing throughout the campground and lasted past 9:00pm though, so the next day I requested to be moved to the furthest corner campsite 260 for some quiet; gorgeous site backed up to the forest. Great stay!

Great facility deep in the woods yet very easy access. Clean and up to date amenities making for a very comfortable and restful stay! 5 stars!

Very nice campground with lots of things to do. The staff work very hard on activities for children starting in the morning and continuing thru out the day. In fact all the workers went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were very helpful with all our needs. On weekend mornings the camp store sells fresh baked cinnamon rolls that are amazing.

Stayed at many KOAs over the years and this was our first time here. I loved the virtual check in/out and texts about daily events. Such a nicely maintained campground. We look forward to returning.

County road closures make getting to this campground a real pain. Rain made the long gravel road muddy, making my truck and trailer a mess.

The owners are very nice. This campground is 35 miles to Ludington. Filled pool which caused no water at our site. Quiet site among trees no concrete and lots of sand. Way overpriced for area. $95 a night is outrageous based on location. Comparable campground sites are $60 a night. No wifi, cable, and little Verizon phone service. Great place it you want peace and quiet to disconnect

We had such a great stay. We frequent this KOA the most, because it has such a great location to Manistee Forrest and trails, and kayaking river. There is so much to do right here within the KOA too. The kids loved the bounce pad, pool and bubble foam machine among so many other activities. The bathrooms were spotless, staff was amazing, and somehow the area is even more beautiful!

Our stay was amazing! There were so many activities for the kids and we had such a great time we stayed an extra night (wished we could have stayed longer but we had to return home for work). The campground itself is really cool but the people who run this are the amazing ones, such good people and I seen all the work they put in to please everyone. We will most definitely be returning asap!

People were nice, park is very crowded and jammed together. Never given any paperwork explaining things such as, garbage, tv, check out time. When asked for help with Kayaking pointed to a piece of paper on a display. Another individual was really good and gave me much information. Due to a weird electrical placement the staff provided a short extension, great job.

Very impressed with the staff. They helped guide us to our and helped back us into the site! Plus gave us an extra sewer hose to use due to connection being farther. My boys loved the jumping pillow and the pool! All around my family and I were very happy staying here.

We are always so impressed by the service snd upkeep of this campground. One of the BEST campgrounds we’ve stayed at and they work so hard to make it great for everyone. From sun up to sun down they are putting their campers always first. We will stay here over and over again!

It was our first stay ever at a campground in our motor home. We are new to camping and Dennis and staff made it easy and stayed with us to make sure we hooked up and leveled our motor home correctly. Checked on us nightly to answer any questions we had. I only wish we had better Wi-Fii to watch our shows before bed. Will make sure to hook up with a hotspot next time. Great stay. Thank you Rome

Beautiful venue. The staff including the owner were a continuous source of warm hospitality and a determined intention to make the stay pleasant. Their enthusiasm filtered down making every point of contact a welcome opportunity for conversation. There is energy here and great pride in making the experience for guests more than would be normally expected. A wonderful experience for young children

We had a fantastic time; it is updated with well maintained and variety of facilities. More events going on for the kids than you can count. The early morning cinnamon rolls are to die for!! Largest campsites I can remember finding at any campgrounds, you could have park two more units on our site along site our 30' Kodiak. To top it all off, the staff are top notch and overtly friendly!!!!!!!

The campground is in a beautiful area. The bathrooms were clean and the store very nice. The pool is very clean and nice. The only downside was the wifi did not reach our site and the cell signal is very bad in the area.

My son loved all the things to do. We had a good site in the shade without a ton of people around but still close to the activities. We could barely pull our son away from the pool and jump pad

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
