Fantastic Stay For Our Three Small Kids! They Absolutely Loved The Bouncing/Jumping Zone! Owners/Staff Were Very Welcoming And Always Were Very Helpful! The Only Drawback Was Our Actual Campsite For Our Tent. It Was Extremely Small For The Provided Cleared Out Area. Our Tent Was Hovering Dangerously Close To The Fire Pit And That Made Us A Bit Nervous. Overall, A Fantastic Campground For Families!

Great place for families if you have kids or grandkids. The texting of events for kids was annoying but if you have kids it would be great! Hours after check out I was still getting text, I had to call them to stop. The location is deceiving, it is 35 minutes away from Ludington and in the boonies. It is closer to Baldwin. Great place if you have kids, the store has lots of choices. Clean!

I had a very nice stay. The staff was awesome, helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like souch was that the restroom was kinda far from my test site and was the only one vs other KOAs I have stayed at.

We had a great time! Lots of things to help create great memories with our son. The only less than great experience was, while in the pool, several adults chose to sit on the steps in the shallow end for quite a long time, which left little room for the younger kids to play. Other than that, everything was great!

We had a lovely tent site, shaded and spacious. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The campground was much quieter and more peaceful than similar campgrounds we have stayed in. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, even delivered firewood to our campsite! We hope to return to this beautiful area again, and will try to camp here again.

The owners and employees are very friendly and helpful. They are expanding the campground which is good for it is a place that I do want to go back to and it will have more availability. They had a fantastic fireworks show on the 4th right at the campground which I thought was tremendous during tough times of the pandemic. .

Our expensive wood (at least one bundle) was too wet to light. The movie night was a little annoying. Overall, a very nice campsite.

It was perfect! Joel and Kyla were the best! We loved the wine/beer tasting adult event. We didn't have kids this time so we didn't partake in the other activities. The bathrooms were crazy clean and every staff member we came in contact with were helpful and knowledgeable. We will be back!

It’s perfect for tent campers. The sites are big and spacious. The bathroom is VERY clean and relatively new. The staffs were super nice and helpful. They have great procedures during covid 19. I will definitely come again!

Very nice campground. They keep things very clean. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Great pool! Prices in the camp store are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

It was awesome. The staff were kind and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was very clean on the site, bathrooms and pool. The camp store was very well stocked! Coffee and donuts in the morning was the best!

This place was great! Our stay was amazing! So was the staff! The owner Joel is very attentive, and super friendly! Was on top of all the fire wood deliveries and even delivered a few odds and ends from the camp store in which everything was reasonably priced! The grounds were well kept! The pool was the perfect! We didn’t even have kids with us and still felt welcomed! Definitely will return10/

We had an awesome time! The campgrounds were nice, the store and bathrooms clean, and fully stocked, all the employees were warm and inviting. Loved it, and we definitely will be back!

The folks at this particular Koa went above and beyond our expectations. We were going to be drenched from the above average rainfall and they offered to accommodate all 4 of us in a cabin. We appreciate their excellent service n can't wait to stay again.

This park is perfect for bonfires and stargazing. Great sites with fantastic KOA owners. Joel is one of the most passionate and personable individuals our family has ever had the pleasure of meeting. We will be lifelong Kampers because of this KOA and the wonderful hospitality we have received over the many years we have visited. A summer isn’t complete without a trip to this fantastic getaway.

We love this campground! It’s location by the Manistee Forest and the river is perfect! They have plenty of family activities to keep the young ones busy!

It was a crowded holiday week and the staff struggled to keep up. They were friendly and attentive but the bathroom was less than stellar for all those people. My site was nicely situated, shady and far enough away from the crowds.

This place is awesome. Tent camping was a blast. Beautiful woods, thoughtful neighbors, great pool, fantastic hosts and so much to do! We actually came back from Ludington beach just to be back at the KOA!

Poor management of tent sites and from discussions with other campers not a great experience. We took the Ludington Ferry SS Badger from Manitowoc to Ludington and consequently got in late (8pm ish) but no one around to discus the site assigned to us. No electric, but paid upfront for this as my wife is handicapped, tent site not raked ... most tent campers don’t bring a rake ... just a not good

Stay was great, the people where great, but the rest room.and shower facility is out dated and limited, had quite a walk to use the facility, should be more than one.

Can't wait to come back :) would love to see electric and water at the tent sites! Also, anything possible with the amount of large size ants? Site 6 had a LOT of them. Maybe consider a bath/shower building up in tenting area? Loved movie night, ice cream sundaes, and Joel is a natural born customer pleaser! Thanks for a great stay, and we will be back :)

Joel and Lydia are ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!! They work so hard to ensure we have a great time, with clean amenities and tons of fun activities. We love staying here and look forward to more summer fun camping!!

Joel and the staff are very welcoming, they rise above expectations. We never camped at a koa before, only primitive camping, but now we have kids. This Koa has the best of both worlds with the rustic camp sites and a short walk down to the main area for a ton of family activities. We feel that after staying here, we definitely will stay again and would recommend this location to anyone.

We had a great time at this well run KOA. The hosts and staff were very friendly and attentive, and the campground has a lot to offer for guests. We were looking for nature and isolation and enjoyed the upper part of the campground with a site that bordered the national forest. We could go hiking directly from our site. In the middle we're some nice amenities like sites with patios, swings, and fire pits. Then the lower part of the campground was very well set for families with playground equipment, the pool, a jump pad, games, and even an outdoor screen where they did movie night with a bonfire. There was also a nice dog park where our pup could stretch her legs. Overall we enjoyed the variety offered at the campground, and the welcoming staff. We'll definitely be back.

We love camping here. We drive almost 4 hours to make it here, it is definitely worth every single penny spent. They are very affordable and attentive to your needs.
