IT WAS MUDDY BUT THE STAFF WAS FANTASTIC AS USUAL

Although the rain made the campsite extremely muddy, we made do. The manager could be a little more friendlier. We understand that it must be hard to have Memorial Day weekend rained out, however, he was not very accommodating and had a bit of an attitude.

I was force to purchase an extra spot even though the extra adults were sleeping in my tent. Thanks to the rain everything was muddy... i had to dig my shoes out. Couldn't keep a fire lit thanks to the run off water from up the hill. Water came in my tent from below even with a tarp. They claimed to be completely booked yet mentioned how many cancelled, would have been nice to move us.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments, however, adding a second family to your campsite was not possible when site occupancy is 1 family per site. Therefore, it was necessary for 2 sites. If there were other open sites, we do not have control over whether or not people show up for their reservations.

It was a rainy wet weekend but the lodging made it very pleasant. We still had a great time. The activities were great for the children. Love this camping place.

Even though the weekend was a complete washout the KOA staff were always cheerful and very helpful. Bathrooms were kept very clean too!

Insanely overpriced for horrible sites in the middle of nowhere. It’s a muddy parking lot with hook ups. They use Philadelphia in their name but it’s over an hour away. Truly not worth the stay. Empty on weekends and loud drunks fill it on weekends.

We have been here several times this year. We keep coming back because the accommodations are clean, the campsite is beautiful, and the staff is friendly. Very kid friendly!

It rained our entire tent camping stay, but we made a point to thank Matt (the manager) and the other employees before we left. Everyone was extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. The campground (including the bathrooms) was remarkably clean. They continued activities even though it was pouring and worked hard to make sure folks enjoyed their stay. We highly recommend and will be staying again.

Stay was great. Cabin was amazing. Super clean. Loved the amenities and quality of furniture both inside and out. Family had a great time. We will be back. Considering offering delivery of wood to sites. We’ve had that at other KOAs and it’s a great convenience for something that is consumed at a big rate when camping. Thank you to a great staff !!!

The staff was absolutely fantastic!! The entire campground was so clean, and very well maintained. I was able to score a site late in the game for the Memorial Day weekend, which it did rain most of the weekend. I do wish the site we were on had a bit more stone on it , due to the rains it looks like we were right in the drainage area, which wasn't so good, But rain is rain. No biggie.

The main store was very well stocked and clean. Bathroom was in great shape. Nice hot water for the shower and the grounds are very well maintained.

We had a horrible experience with the location. It rain on Friday night and our site turned into a swamp. I was afraid my vehicle would get stuck. When we talked to the manger we were told they couldn’t move us. So we decided to leave. I have pictures if needed.

Thanks for your comments. When holiday weekends are sold out and we have heavy rains out of our control, we cannot simply move people around when we are not sure whether or not other campers will decide not to honor their reservations.

tent campsites are way too close together, and have absolutely no privacy, or trees... the people next to me were basically on top of me, and were up all night on a Thursday night being loud and obnoxious/ yelling at their kids. bathrooms were ok, dated. Campground itself was nice, with a lot of amenities, but you should have options to pay a lower price for a tent site with less amenities

No issues were encountered. The campground was clean and safe, other occupants and staff were all friendly and helpful. I wish the pool had opened a day early because the weather was warm on Thursday but rainy and cool on Friday!

This was my second trip in a month! I am absolutely in love with this place. Is very close to where we live. Each site is very nice. Once we did glamping in safari tent. Another time we were on gravel site 136. Both were very private locations and were able to provided plenty of space.

Great place to stay. We booked the Premium cabin for 5 people, it was very clean and we had enough space to get around. The outside deck and fire pit were great places to hang out and bbq.. We brought our canoes, Kayaks and tubes and made great use of the Brandywine River. The staff is helpful and friendly and the camp store had everything we needed. We will be back!

This is a nice quiet campground, picturesque and hilly. Good sized level sites, nice pool area and playground. A work in progress and somewhat dusty. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

The location was nice, and the staff was amazing. Very clean. Only challenge was getting our 5th wheel coach to the KOA location. Lots of twists and turns on narrow roads, and some routes had overpasses too low to pass through.

Our stay was amazing, we only got to stay one night but we will be back! The park was so clean and there was so much to do. The kids LOVED the play ground, there was so much for them to do and we hiked on the trails and cant wait to come back and go fishing.

Nice camp ground with a lot of activities and amenities. Very friendly staff as well. This was our first trip with our new camper and we will definitely stay again in the future.

Favorite campground. Gary, Lori and the entire staff are awesome. The place is absolutely beautiful and very welcoming. The owners invest in the campground and it shows. So relaxing. We love it and go as often as possible. Thanks for a great getaway!

Very nice campground and helpful staff. The site was great and the area was beautiful! The only problem was the price. The price was too much but we enjoyed our stay.

Staff was fine. Our site (54) was awful and the most expensive in the campground. We could never really get level and the sewer connection was uphill from the trailer connection. The site sits out in the middle of other sites on one side and the cabins on the other. No afternoon shade at all. No privacy. The campground itself was clean and well maintained. It was quiet. We will not be returning.

We appreciate your comments and will use them to improve ourselves. The site mentioned, with all full hookup sites, the sewer connection is above ground level to prevent rain water from entering the sewer system. Also, site 54 is on an end which is preferred by many of our regulars.

Accesss was a little difficult but otherwise everything was awesome. Love the Adirondack chairs and fire pit. Neat clean tidy and not as jammed in as other KOAs, river access was great. Friendly helpful people, store also was great mix of needs and souvenir

The staff was amazing and bathrooms were always clean. We loved being able to stay right on the water. Can't wait to come back!

We stayed here in October. The campground was well kept and peaceful. The sites were lovely with pretty views. We plan to return soon.

Excellent place to camp or bring your RV in the outskirts of Philly. About an hour from the city. Wooded area. Swimmimg pool, activities for kids, overall good place. The management was also excellet and accomodating.
