We were part of a group of 8 families that camped the weekend before Halloween. The kids' playground and activity area were top notch. The bathrooms were clean (enough) and the campsites were more than adequate. The kids loved trick or treating! We will definitely be back.

We were disappointed that the trick or treating wasn't rescheduled due to the heavy storms we had. I had messaged them a few days in advance on instagram asking if trick or treating would be rescheduled for Friday instead of Saturday since thunderstorms were in the forecast and never even received an answer. would have been nice if an activity was held in the lodge during the rain instead

I could see huge amounts of upgrades since 2019-so great job! The bathrooms were the disappointing part. Out of paper towels, toilets not functioning correctly, long lines at the girls bathroom due to only 3 stalls, air drier hard to get to turn on and tricky automation sinks. But the paving and such was nice!

everything was great except when I got there, someone had removed me from the site I chose over a month ago (site 121) The 2 nice ladies at the desk could see I was booked for 121 but then someone went in and allowed other campers onto that site forcing me to move

This KoA is always very clean, bathrooms are always spotless. We enjoyed the pool and mini golf. We stay here once a year and it's always great.

Absolutely wonderful! Our original site was flooded by the storm just before we came. They found us a new site at the top of the campground. All the activities for the kids were great and everything was nice and clean. All the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful! So many of them went out of their way to make our stay even better. We can’t wait to come back!

We went this weekend for a church retreat. It was great. We had fun canoeing that were available to rent on site. We were also pleasantly surprised that the store on site had plenty of stuff we needed. Like ice, firewood, etc. the tent sites were also very spacious for our whole group. The staff that worked at this location were so friendly and informative. Thank you to Matt and the whole team!

Did not provide any information as office was closing soon. Didn't offer alternate site locations based on storm warning. Slept in my car in the parking lot. I could of done that for free anywhere

We absolutely loved staying at this campground. Exceptional clean. Friendly staff. Plenty for the kids to do. Wish there was a bathroom at the bottom of the hill but we delt with it. We were so sad to leave early because of a storm. Have already recommended to friends and family. We'll be back.

Had a great time at West Chester KOA! The camp ground is well maintained and all the facilities were clean and up-to-date. Would love to come back again to trying canoeing (they were all unfortunately rented out when we tried to go). Had a great view of Brandywine Creek, as our tent site was situated right along the water. Would definitely come back!

It was fun. Tents next to the water great touch. Stocking the creek once with 20 northern snakeheads would make for awesome fishing. A outhouse near the tent area would be helpful for late night bathroom runs

Site was beautiful, but neighbors were noisy. Pool was lovely. Ladies room light turns off after 1 min. Don’t shower @ night or you’ll b doing it in the dark. Loved camping by the creek, but not even an outhouse down there. Have 2 hike up a steep hill every time u need 2 use the facilities.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. We sometimes do not realize when things are not working properly (light sensor). Camping by the creek is great, however, KOA standards do not allow for Porta Potties so the uphill trek to the facilities is necessary.

I was a bit disappointed that our tent camping site was little more than an open spot on a lawn. There were no trees for shade, no nearby water, and we were surrounded by RVs. I would recommend making it clear that sites 100-103 are not particularly prime spots for tent camping. That being said the facilities and employees were top notch.

First time camping with my family. Wife and 2 daughters (9 and 6). Great place, plenty of amenities, very kid friendly. Love staying here....especially with the river to fish. Staff were very friendly. Definitely be back.

It was wonderful. Awesome time!!!! Canoeing was awesome although I wanted to go canoeing again with my son later in the day and there was an employee change. I wasn’t a fan of the two of them in the pm. Gave me death stares with attitude and I still don’t know if I could have gone �� or not? We walked out. Back office gossip was obvious. We stayed here in October. The campground was well kept and peaceful. The sites were lovely with pretty views. We plan to return soon.

Excellent place to camp or bring your RV in the outskirts of Philly. About an hour from the city. Wooded area. Swimmimg pool, activities for kids, overall good place. The management was also excellet and accomodating.
