An extremely enjoyable weekend

This was our fourth consecutive October camping weekend at the Philadelphia/West Chester KOA. The owners and staff have yet to disappoint. We especially liked how the concert, usually help indoors at night, was moved outdoors during the afternoon. It gave the kids a great activity before trick or treating. Keep up the excellent job!

We loved the campground. The only issue were with the campers next to us. They continually smoked marijuana. I am not joking when we say they did this every 30-60 minutes. Some of the smaller kids were crying because of the smell and many of us were getting headaches. We complained to the office but nothing changed. In my opinion, they should have been kicked out.

Lovely tent spot along Brandywine Creek. Appreciated the electricity and water. Absolutely no enforcement of quiet hours. Thought there would be more bathroom and shower stalls, considering the number of sites.

Been multiple times, always a good time. One comment is they could work on better enforcing quiet hours.

The staff where friendly and the area was nice liked all the activities that is available even during the Fall season and Covid 19. Only issue would be lack of multiple restrooms. The first time useing restrooms not knowing the drain was clogged it backed up on me which was not an enjoyable moment. Multiple restrooms could solve that problem.

Besides the muddy conditions from all the rain, we had a good time. We stayed down by the river where it is hard to find any grass. Loved the scenic river views, but the mud was a bit much. All the people we met were so friendly and willing to help out novices like us. We look forward to returning.

Usually avoid koas in my 50+ years of camping in 47 states but the need arose, the tent sights along the creek are a pleasant surprise.

Lovely campground. It’s so pretty. The tent sites are roomy. The hosts are very nice. It’s very family friendly! Be prepared to wake up early with the young kids in the campground. My only knock is having no bathroom facilities on the lower loop. The hill is a killer.

The hospitality staff was amazing on all levels of helpfulness . The grounds were maintained and cleaned . I would make this location an annual event .

Pitching a tent along the Brandywine River with a farm and view of horses in the background was magical. The staff was very pleasant and helpful with check-in and other questions. I plan on bringing my canoe next time. You can also hike around the ChesLen preserve without getting in a car. I will definitely be camping here again.

Staff was great and very helpful, even went the extra mile to give me a jump start. Some of the other guests were kind of annoying

Pleased with how they handled the "mud pit" on half our camp site by offering full reimbursement if we stayed at the site OR to be upgraded to a cabin for no charge. Disliked the strict enforcement of quiet hours at 11pm on the dot but did not care that our neighbors (with 6 kids under 16yo) let their children start screaming at 6:30-7am when quiet hours were supposed to go until 9am. Pissed.

We stayed here in October. The campground was well kept and peaceful. The sites were lovely with pretty views. We plan to return soon.

Excellent place to camp or bring your RV in the outskirts of Philly. About an hour from the city. Wooded area. Swimmimg pool, activities for kids, overall good place. The management was also excellet and accomodating.
