The stay was ok , the bathrooms were very messy in the back and rarely had toilet paper( wasteful gross campers not your fault) . I would suggest you install faucets with a sensors because multiple times that I was in the restrooms people left water running full blast. Wi Fi was horrible we couldn't even play music, we stayed at Jellystone last month and they gave campers the wifi password.

We loved the location of our cabin, I reserved it so we would be close to the bathroom, but unfortunately it was a HUGE hassle trying to get anyone to clean it, there was broken glass on the floor, towels that were left in the showers (probably from a camper) were sitting on the shower floor moldy, showers and bathroom were FLITHY. We were in kabin 98, the bathroom was on Butte Street.

We rented a cabin with no bathroom which is fine, the bathrooms that were often were out of toilet paper for a day and a half. No idea why cops blocked off entrances and were called in the back for some reason that made the rest of the stay uneasy.

There were people driving way too fast, blaring music with profanity, bathrooms were never cleaned, showers were covered in hair. The positive feedback was that the cabins were clean and the kids loved the activities.

We had a great time. The cabin was beautiful, the park was very clean, and the staff was amazing!! The only issue we had was that there were a lot of kids out riding their bikes in the dark not paying attention to the cars and golf carts which is extremely dangerous. We will definitely stay here in the future.

Camp sites are nothing but dirt and gravel. Cigarette butts were all over our site along with other little plastic debris. There were doggy doo bags in the fire pit when we arrived. The way they do golf carts every single day is burdensome and time consuming. Will not be returning.

Was horrible. The staff didn't know about there own campground. Bathroom's were closed due to water main break for a day. But the worst to top it all of I got chewed up by BED BUGS. I have over 50 bites on my arms and legs and back. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to stay here

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The fact is that with a days advance notice a portion of the campground water was off from 6:00 AM till 9:45 AM. The two of our seven large restrooms that were announced to remain open did so. Not sure how a less than 4 hour shutdown turned into a day???

The camp site was nice but the rooms were very dirty. The bathroom floor was so dirty the mop was black. The bed did not smell or look like they changed It!!! I know that this a camp site and the area is grass and dirt surrounding, however the maids could have done much better in their cleaning the rooms. I would also recommend that the curtains be changed or washed. Horribly filthy!!!

My family and I had a nice stay at your campground. The property is kept up very well for the most part. The Deluxe cabin could have had all surfaces cleaned & sanitized prior to our arrival (I wiped down all countertops & shelves). The roller hockey court needs to be cleaned more often & water balloons should be picked up more often. Overall, our stay was enjoyable

The stay was alright. We had two stray dogs and a stray cat wander onto our site. The wood you have to purchase from the campgrounds was not that great and couldn’t find any sticks in our area to help start the fire. Was unaware of the kitchen in the middle of the group area with stovetop available, I definitely would have brought pots and pans to cook instead of using the fire.

Many things to do, very kept up and clean. Just a problem with bathroom in no bathroom cabins area 17-? Not cleaned very well at all, I know it’s older but you could do a better job. Walked further to well maintained one. Very friendly staff. Awesome tasty pizza on the grounds was great! Definitely coming back, but hope to snag a lodge�

My site was not cleaned up at all. There baby shoes in lodge. And garbage on deck including a pacifier popsiclesticks and papers.melted bottles in fire pit. And cigarette butts all around it. I usually don't have these issues when I stay was disappointed. There were pots to use for stove tops no pan for Oven use I just assumed it would be supplied. Oven and stove top not clean .

We love it here Lodge 331 was perfect , and the kids loved the loft. Only complaint we had was the patio behind our lodge that was ours was very dirty with garbage when we arrived, and we did not even use the grill because it was way to dirty to even clean , and the grease trap was full to the top with no where for us to dump it .

Sadly the owner is a creep, very rude and needs to keep his old a$$ behind the scenes. I get there are rules, but the way he treated my daughter was uncalled for. Then to get in his vehicle and follow my family around while in the golf cart and blocking their way to play 20 questions and call me a liar is beyond ridiculous! The staff there hate him and don't like dealing with him. We won't be back

There is a need for reasonable rules for a safe and enjoyable experience of all guests. Almost all negative interactions with staff is due to rule enforcement. You do not describe the incident with you or your daughter but I suspect you objected to rule enforcement. We concur with your decision.

The floors in both cabin 314 & 315 were filthy. They sent someone to clean them and they were only in the cabins for a few minutes. We bought some Lysol and scrubbed them by hand 3 times and the rag was still filthy. We just stayed and never took off our shoes. When I made my reservation I asked for 2 story deluxe cabins. I was given a too small one story. Not enough room to fully explain.

I love how much there is to do for the kids, especially small kids! We have been past three years and love coming there. This time I would just really stress my concern of how unclean the cabin was. The floors where absolutely horrible. I would just definitely make sure the staff is cleaning thoroughly.

Watermain break so no water from 6am-10am. A KOA employee was rude when he seen our dog on the sand. Pointing to the sign that we didn’t see… I paid $215 to check in from 3pm-11am and pools don’t even open till 11am. Requesting some type of refund

Staff very undertrained and not knowledgeable about the property at all. Multiple things we asked about and we were told no they don't have it and we ended up stumbling upon it. Bathroom's and showers were disgusting. Also the KOA employees should be more respectful to there guests. I won't be going back to this KOA resort.

The Lodge was great. Was able to cook several meals to maximize our time enjoying the pools and local rock hunting adventures. Extremely busy campground. Lots of activity.

Unfortunately we had a very old deluxe cabin. It had several large spiders in it. That delayed us from comfortably sleeping. We had to find and kill those being able to sleep. Also the shower has shoots water all kinds of ways instead of as it should. We've stayed before and loved it cabin. Unfortunately this experience was somewhat unpleasant.

Really enjoy stay there BUT we need more electrical outlets. Running extension cords all over the inside cabin to the front is a tripping hazard. Also no outlets on the outside either. The bathrooms by cabin 98 row were extremely dirty not maintained enough. No toilets had toilet paper by noon.

Deluxe cabin had extremely dirty floors and visibly dirty sheets. We brought our own sheets to cover your sheets but it was gross.

We had a wonderful experience at the KOA. Definitely recommended for families with children. However the bathrooms need more up keeping than the 1 hour block a day. The bathroom by Cascade was consistently out of toilet paper and the toilets lacked cleaning. The floors had toilet paper scattered all over and hand soap needed refilling. The shower rooms were dirty and hair laying in the drains.

Lodge was great very clean & had most things we needed.. some of people & they kids needed to learn some manner. Taking up whole road so we couldn’t get through. My nephew got hit by a girl riding her bike. she knocked him right off his bike and was very rude. No adult supervision for a lot of the kids while in pool.

Honestly would rate as high as possible if it weren't for an abundance of some extremely rude guests. We had multiple kids jumping right on us in the pool. My son flew off his bike after another child ran right into him. Parents are letting their children run wild unsupervised and no common courtesy.

We love coming to the port huron KOA but the bathrooms are terrible! Everyone that I went to smelled so bad I gagged, please do better
