The park is one of Colorado's most popular water sports areas. Fishing, boating and swimming are in great abundance.
This area has been called "the Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado". You will pass between the towering pillars of Hercules, where the canon narrows to 42 feet. You will see amazing rock formations through the mountain foliage which leads to the cascading falls. A new express elevator which tunnels 170 feet into the mountainside will whisk you 130 feet up, through the mountain itself to the Eagle's Nest Platform, with the best view of the seven separate falls as they splash and tumble 181 feet down the sheer granite cliff.
