Well I checked in around 9pm.chose a spot from the board and that spot was taken.5-north.so I parked at another lot(after seeing all the North spots were taken and driving back m forth)underneath a light pole right across from the tent camping then not even half hour in..some guy tells me I took his spot so I just left and ended up sleeping in a loves parking lot.how do I get refunded.

Facilities are great compared to other options; most RV spots have trees, are situated to take advantage of shade, and there are grassy areas and plenty of space for dog walks. Roomy. The owners, a young couple who are clearly invested in what they do, are helpful and nice. Great spot to watch the sky and weather changes!

All sites need 50 amp service. The 30 amp hook up I had reduced 30 amp to 50 amp, so I paid $35 just to park for the night.

Came in at night and called on the phone the host was very friendly and walked me though everything it was very nice. Our stay was great nice and restful.

Raton is a very simple KOA, but it’s very clean and well taken care of. The workers are all very nice and helpful. It’s a great place to stay and relax. We stay here every time we pass through.

We arrived super late and luckily there was one cabin left. (Note: they only have two cabins, this is a small KOA). The manager/owner on duty finished cleaning our cabin quickly. The bathrooms were fairly clean, I did not use the showers. This town was our only choice being so far from a major town. It was a pleasant stay.

Very clean, nice facilities, and friendly staff. Only issue we encountered was the noisy road traffic. I do realize that is out of control by the campground though.

First they wanted to put us in a spot that looked like it was in the middle of the road. Then we requested a different space and they gave it to us. Could not get on to WiFi. KOA person gives me a WiFi that does not work and an 800 number to call if it does not work. I should not have to call some 800 number to get a WiFi that works. Everything was dusty. Bathrooms were nice.

We booked tis as an overnight stay on a long trip. The site was nice, the campground is very rustic, but we had gret service and great neighbors, we will defintely stay here again.

Old facility that has been well used! Basic facility with no swimming pool. Short distance off - I 25. Gravel lot and parking pads. No shade in pull thru sites. Good one night stay facility while traveling.

Arrived late in the evening (after 7:00 pm). While backing into campsite, Grant, the owner, walked by and asked if we needed anything. There were a few small tree limbs a little close to our camper, so he offered to trim them - he went and grabbed a pole trimmer before we backed completely in. Great customer service, much appreciated!

No wi fi and no help. Called company at their direction and was told the equipment was old and unreliable. New wi fi didn’t work at my site quote it’s too far

Park is old and has no extras, just hookups. Fairly level gravel pull thrus, no ice available, bathroom-shower house was clean but outdated. Par for the price.. Owner was very friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop again.

Good place to stay. We stayed only one night pt and fhu. My 6yo grandaughter loved the large playground. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The mosquito present was unavoidable. There were numerous local franchised eating places including a Mac D. I would stay here again and longer to explore the area more. The camping site space was large. Overall it showed a well maintained appearance.

Stayed one night. We have been staying one night each way when we travel. We will be back in 5or 6 weeks going the other direction. The sights are level, wide and long. The restrooms, shower rooms are very clean. Not very many trees. We have been using Raton KOA for 20 years. Grant and Lisa are doing a great job.

Solid campground. No frills, but decent sized spaces and enough room to manuver big rigs. Nice folks, too. More 50amp poles and septic on site would push them up to a 5.

Check-in was problematic - the door was locked, even though we arrived in the early afternoon. Had to call on their intercom. The site had a wonderful view of the dumpster, accompanied by the odor. On our 7-week motorhome trip, we stayed at 10 different KOAs. The only advantage Raton has is convenient location.

Easy check in, store was being remodeled but they were making it work. Campground was clean and maintained. Dog walk was very nice except for the dog owners who were to lazy to pick up after their dogs. Weren’t many but the dog owners were in the campground that day. In no way KOA’s fault.
