This was the 3rd year we stayed at Raton KOA. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. We will be back again and highly recommend it to all.

The owner was very friendly, courteous, and great to talk to. Unfortunately, the park has a lot of deferred maintenance. But, we felt safe during our in-transit stop for the night.

Always great place to stay. We have been going there for 27 years. It was a little strange this year not going in the office or not seeing anyone that worked there. But we had a good time.

1. Friendly and responsive staff. 2. Sewer connection infrastructure could use some attention. 3. A number of back-in sites could use some additional gravel. Mud is starting to work its way up through the rock. 4. Connection to Wi-Fi was strong, but the bandwidth going out was terrible. Unusable for anything except slow connection to email. Bandwidth measured at .02 megabits per second.

We had a good back in site, for some reason, the guy moved us at our ck in to a site that was crappy. Crappy site on door side. Thy looked like they lived there . Junkie! Won't be back.

The Raton KOA is older. But management is friendly and very helpful. They have a nice grassy dog walking area. Since we were having issues with our landing legs they moved us to a more level spot.

It’s one of the more basic KOAs that we’ve stayed at. Clean bathrooms, easy laundry facilities, cabins were clean and in good shape. Other campers seemed happy with their sites.

the campsite was fine, it appears that only one person runs the park, the young woman at check in, she makes no effort to be friendly . we stay here because it is of our schedule.

Limited cable channels, playground didn’t offer much for the kids. Terrible WiFi, and the RV next to us had their outdoor LED lights on all night.

The location is very good, and the tent sites are good, as well. Grant greeted me personally when I arrived, a nice touch. The men's restroom could use some more frequent cleaning, and its soap dispensers were empty when I arrived on June 21.

We got in later in the evening, checked in fine,the hostwaa pleasant, gave us a map. The shower water was pretty consistent, the bathrooms were clean. We ate at the Mexican restaurant in town and were pleased with the food and proximity to the CG. We didn’t know that you need to turn the breaker on once you’re plugged in, but maybe that’s a newb move!

The kindness I received while my quick stay was above an beyond anything I expected. I also didn't expect to wake up with a dead truck battery but there I was, stranded. The owner didn't think twice about helping me jump start my truck. The appreciation is immeasurable. I HIGHLY recommend this KOA property. Thank you again for your help!!

The owners and staff were nice enough. But no fire pits which really bummed me out and the location was not great. People racing cars up and down the street all night long. I know it is not the fault of KOA but at 0200 and 0300 am in the morning made for a terrible nights sleep.

Unfortunately this KOA is a bit of a pit. I feel bad for saying that because the staff is so friendly. However, it is run down, no grass to speak of, the basketball court is in shambles, lots of weeds and dust. Small sites with undesirable hookups. I would not stay there again.

Thankful for the gentleman still being in the office when we got there. And the maintenance man was very helpful about bringing us some duct tape to tape the side where screws were missing. A good stay!

Great place to stay. Spaces are wide and long, hookups easy to get to, good location and easy in and out and convenient to the interstates. Best of all, the folks who are there to help you are friendly, professional, responsive, and won't hesitate to help make your stay enjoyable.

I called in late as I was driving and left a message. The gentleman called me, back, worked out the details over the phone, and was even there to greet me even though it was just after hours. Everything in the cabin was so nice and simple. AS a solo female traveler, I love the idea of KOA wher eI know I a safe, protected, and get a reprieve from the road is a great place. Plus I earn KOA REwards

Sandlot in the middle of a bad neighborhood. Wifi unusable. Nothing to do. Nowhere to go. At least a Walmart parking lot isn’t $33 a night. Left a day early out of boredom and disgust. Not worthy of being a KOA park.

Was passing thru on our way to Lake City, CO. The camp ground was clean and nice. Easy to get into the park. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spot to visit.
