We had an emergency and needed a place to stay which ended up to be 2 nights - they helped us out. Nice campground great dog run for our pups. Would stay here again

Park is fine. Dirt / gravel roads and pads. Elec worked fine. When leaving the water would not shut off. Sewer - had to gradually empty grey water or it would over flow.

Friendly welcome. Good utilities. Didn't like being next to the bathrooms but we were only there for 1 night. Easy to find and long wide spaces so big rig friendly. Would stay here again.

Great staff. Renovations taking place in the office. I will go back again at some point. It is a great place to venture out and explore the area. The local grocery store is the best I have seen for a small town. Grant was very attentive and great to talk to. Great job.

Great hosts, easy access. Very scary low slung power lines in pull through site - maybe 13'8". Loud dogs nearby barking all night.

The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative with a late booking. The grounds needed mowed and the trash was blowing around the park. The dog park was a nice amenity however the wires were sharp and the shrubs has not been trimmed. We had to move to another cabin because the smoke alarm was chippering. The dog walk area was flooded so we couldn’t walk the dogs.

This was our 4th or 5th stay at the Raton KOA. It’s always clean, tidy and comfortable.

Good overnight stop. Other than cold water at the bathroom sinks when I got up early to freshen up before hitting the road again.... I had a great evening and slept well. The weather was perfect � Thanks for that - haha

We just stayed one night. No one at desk to check in, had to wait a while. Staff friendly. Store closed. Spaces ok no shade. Basically a parking lot. Road noise from side streets. Ok for just overnight stay. Close to I-25

Very accommodating and personable. It was a clean and well kept place. It also had easy access off and on the freeway.

Big rig friendly. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our only wish is that there could be directional signage from the interstate to the campground.

Nobody in office when we arrived for check-in at 12:30 ish pm. There was a man sleeping in his car on spot # 32 when we arrived. Shady looking character. He then moved to another area of the campground next to another person sleeping in their car next to the children’s playground. Not a safe situation for kids. I have a picture of car in spot 32. Girl had to open laundry as it was locked.

I would have thought that a KOA park would have full hookups at all sites. It was also not as well kept as most KOAs. Trash cans were all overflowing, sites not very well defined.

Very convenient to I-25 / did not notice road noise despite close proximity to interstate / spots were level / easy in and out / grocery store conveniently across the highway / easy to access bulk propane for big rigs / owner was very pleasant and helpful.

Everything was great except the hot tub was a little dirty and had leaves all in it. Other than that the park is lovely and full of amenities!

Quiet place for quick overnight, just off I-25. We explored Capulin Volcano and Sugarite State Park. Our assigned site #4 was right next to bathrooms; requested to move. Site #19 was level. Shower/bath facilities were older but clean. No camp store and no fire pit. Was told to use the raised BBQ for fire pit; our site did not have one.

Wonderful people that checked us in! They are working very hard to update. The cabin we used was close to the bathrooms and very clean. Loved the screen door on the cabin.

The gift shop area was closed off, and one shower stall was down in the women's side. We stayed in one of the cabins, and it was fine. Not the best KOA we've been to (that was the one in Vernal UT), but far from the worst (West Wendover NV).
