The place seemed to be in a state of major repair, or possibly disrepair. The people working there were very nice and friendly no problem there at all!

We had a nice big pull through. I liked the emails confirming and checking in. Park is in very nice condition. When ever we come through Raton we stay there.

It was like camping in a gravel parking lot. Worst KOA campground we have ever visited. Avoid if possible.

Well maintained, clean, sparsely shaded, parking lot. Not much to the “campground”, more like a place to park and do other things in the area. Never could get the WiFi to work, but that’s normal at ALL KOA’s.

This is a great little campground. We had a long day before arriving and we were able to pull in late, pick up our packet and set up in a very level spacious site. We really enjoyed this campground. It was very well maintained.

Sub-par KOA, was fine for a quick overnight on the way to destination.

We camped @ Alb KOA a lot. I called early to make month res they said to call back. Our hm is being remodeled. GM made last min change to do no monthly res. Staff tried to help but give me expectations that management will not let happen. I left 4 messages for the previous GM and she never called me back. Not all staff fault the KOA needs update too. We had poop in our site, never had before.

We’ve stayed here a number of times and continue to suggest more gravel to level the site. Don’t advertise WiFi when there is none available in site 14. Otherwise we will stop again.

it was the best KOA campground i have visited. the Robertson family were the nicest people. the workampers were also the nicest people you ever met. i recommend Raton KOA to any travelers.

That’s far this has been the smallest KOA I have had the pleasure to stay at. My only criticism is that I could not wash my dishes due to the laundry area being closed. This was the location noted in the bathrooms for us to clean up our dishes and supplies. My wife found it opened early the morning of our first full day but closed thereafter. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Pleasant staff.

Besides being very cold and the freezing fog the stay was great, staff was awesome didn't get to enjoy everything with covid and the weather but would stay there next trip by.

Value was good, restrooms/shower very clean and warm, good site, plenty of room for slides and picnic table. Dog run and dog walk path available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our trailer slide broke and they were very helpful to provide numbers for repair people in area and allowed us to stay longer to get fixed.

The KOA at Raton was a very clean park, the W/E/S hookups were all good, NICE and QUIET with no road noise due to its location. It was easy to find and get in and out of. The best part was the welcoming attitude and helpfulness of the camp hosts/managers. Both couldn't have been friendlier and nicer. It made our experience special.

Love the Raton KOA! Run by 2 of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I’ve stayed here twice so far and both times have been consistently great. There’s a peaceful, relaxing feeling here and a sense that the owners take a lot of pride in their campground- it shows! Quickly becoming one of my favorite stops when I’m on the road. My dogs also really love the off leash area!

Staff was friendly. Stayed in a cabin and it was just as expected. It was perfect for me. Most tent and rv sites look like there would not be much shade. Bathrooms were clean and area was quiet. Sites to the back of the park may have some noise from the road and neighborhood. Could hear some noise/yelling when I took my dogs out after midnight.
