This is a very nice KOA. The sites are roomy and the fact there are 2 sewer dumps at sites is a bonus. The dog walk around the perimeter of the park is nice. We will come back.

Main office is in the process of being renovated so there was no convenience store. Could not connect to wifi no matter what I did. Person I interacted with during checkin stated that the wifi was a work in process since it replaced a none working system.

Very nice. The grounds were clean and well-kept. The office is undergoing renovation and next time we pass through (probably a couple of years) I look forward to seeing the improvements. Oh yes--the laundry was so very convenient to our site.

Even though we visited in the off-season, we found plenty to do, thanks, in part, to the generous and kind owner. What a pleasure to chat with him. The campground was very well taken care of.

No Wi-Fi which was upsetting. Nice they are finally revamping their office. Changes at this KOA are slow to happen.

Grant was a wonderful host and made me feel welcome. I love the Raton cabins and mostly the fact you have a screen door so my cat can watch me when I am outside.

We’ve stayed at this KOA 5 times in the past. We’re passing through Raton from Northern Colorado on our way to winter in Tucson. The sites are easy to enter and exit, the hookups are close by and we’ll maintained. Grounds are clean and improvements to the park are noticeable. It’s quiet at night and we feel safe. See you in the spring!

The bathrooms could be updated or use a facelift. The fella at the front was very courteous and helpful. Trash cans around the park needed to be emptied.

Although amenities are limited, the campground and laundry and bathroom/shower facilities are very clean. We enjoyed a very pleasant stopover and we will stay here again.

We have stayed here before, which is why we came back. It is an easy place to reach, the owner is friendly and accommodating. It has a dog park which is a must after a day on the road, for the pooches and the owners. There is a grocery store across the street which was handy so we stopped before registering to stock up on food & goodies.

This was my first stay at a KOA. I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had picked up my new van earlier in the day and needed a place to stay for a night as I made my way home. I arrived late, but the office left instructions for my campsite and shower access. The restrooms were very clean and the showers were hot. It was the perfect spot to spend my first night in my new van!

We had a great experience at the KOA in Raton. Our site was perfect and included electricity and water. The KOA is located near a neighborhood so it's fenced around the perimeter. Noise isn't a problem and once in your RV it's quiet. Grant, the camp host, was accommodating as we arrived late. Raton is a good place to stop if you've a long drive ahead of you

Pulled in for one night. It was cold and windy so didn't walk around the dirt lot. We weren't impressed with what we did see of the park. It looked like it needed some 'up keep'.

Nice campground. Very quiet and a good place to catch up on some needed rest. Improvements on grounds and office remodel will make our next stop even better. We will return here again.

A work in progress but had everything we needed. More gravel on our pad would have been nice, it rained and turned everything to mud. We would have visited the dog park but there was no grass.

We stayed in the Camping Cabins. The Cabins have always been clean and have a small refrigerator if you ask. The restrooms are in good shape, just need to be cleaned more often. The owner is very pleasant and easy to deal with. Will stay there again.
