Only problem was dogs barking during the night. Don’t think they were dogs at the KOA, but nearby offsite. Happened 2-3 times during the night, barking for extended periods. Not sure you can do much about it though, as they are off site????

Site was level. At the end but able to get satellite reception. Little tight leaving the park was only issue.

Campground is reasonably nice though much like a gravel parking lot with trees. But it was remarkably noisy with traffic on three sides and barking dogs tied outside. Furthermore, the men's restroom was foul - toilets uncleaned and slopped over onto the floor. The KOA was undergoing restoration when I was there, and if they can get their act together it would be a convenient place to stay in Raton

Came in without reservation. Clerk was very accommodating to find us a site. This KOA is still very reasonably priced. Hope that doesn’t change. Thanks for the stay!

The WIFI was unusable - first was given the wrong password and then the WIFI signal was poor - everywhere that I tried (including right beside the WIFI antenna). There was no shade in the tenting area. There wasn't a picnic in the tent area. The bathroom had good showers, but didn't have A/C - and it was hot.

Just and overnight so OK. Lots of gravel. Relatively easy in and out. Some power issues with some sites.

We really liked the management, we see that they are working to improve the KOA there. The owner took time to describe nearby attractions and to assist with laundry issues involving the washer. It was a bit dusty, and there was no shade, but this was a part of the locale itself. It wasn’t an ideal spot, but we were glad to have it. Things will improve there because of the management .

Check-in process was great. Office currently being remodeled. Campground was neat and clean. Made a great stop for an overnight stay.

Nice overnight park. Easy in and out. Owner was helpful, and responsive. I purchased LP while staying one night. The only down side was the internet only worked the first two - three hours I was there. I was not able to log on the rest of the day, or the next morning, prior to leaving.

Store, office under construction but the owner was a real friendly and nice guy. Had a non hookup site in the trees which as nice since it was quite hot. Bathrooms were clean and overall park was nice. Met some friendly campers also.���

We stayed in a 40 ft motor home. The park is clean and well maintained but doesn’t have many amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again but only for a short time

The campground was well organized. The both rooms and showers could use some work. Not very clean as there were toenails laying in the showers. The check in instructions were clear and easy to do, even after hours. My biggest gripe was about the area. While trying to go to sleep, there is a neighborhood surrounding the park. There are MANY DOGS that barked all night long. Be aware!!!

It's an older park with gravel sites. Plenty of space and full hookups were working. Clean laundry facilities. They accommodated my request for a site next to our friends.

A quick one nighter on our way to Colorado. A nice place though it did not have full service. Had to use dump station in the way out. But it was no big hassle. The family who owns it are very nice.

Cabin was very dirty. I wiped bed down and swept floor. It could not have been cleaned recently. Because nothing is furnished, even for $50.00, I would expect it to be clean.

Extremely friendly staff. And understanding when I forgot I got a pull through without cable . . . it's amazing I couldn't figure out where to plug in the cable ! ! ! A senior moment. Very clean park. Restrooms and laundry room spotless. Normally, our family stays up at campground in Sugar Rite Canyon State Park. Very glad we stayed in town and discovered a beautiful downtown area. Thanks ! !

Nice clean KOA offering a pleasant overnight stop after crossing the Raton Pass. The check-in in process efficient and we were greeted by very friendly host. We opted for W/E since this was just a layover enroute to Santa Fe. 30A was good and decent water pressure. Some local traffic, but pretty quiet later at nice afforded a good night’s sleep.
