The Raton KOA is the essence of a KOA Journey park. It's not quite a destination resort, but it is an excellent short-stay stopover park. They supply great accommodations, and cable TV and WiFi.

The place is great for a layover. Whittington Center is worth the visit 8 miles up the road. Area lacks places to eat. Avoid KBobs at all cost. Dennys would be your better option. The host is a great guy. Very accomidating .

Grant checked me in. Easy ,Peasy. Site was clean. Easy hook-up. Wifi was 56 Mps. Nice dog park. Quiet.

The onsite saff are great. Very helpful and friendly. Only downer is the older bathrooms and showers. But still rather stay here than the other 2 parks in town.

Park managers were very helpful and accommodating. The park was clean and everything was in good shape. Perfect place for a stay over. Also, very quiet and peaceful.

some dog poop on our site. wifi is terrible. toilet paper chewed up by some dog or animal on site.

Quiet and relaxing. Nice long site and easy to pull in. Laundry room with everything needed, including a sink and ironing board. Super friendly owners. If I come back through Raton, I will stay here.

Good overnight stop. Large level sites. Pleasant office staff. We stayed a 2nd night due to unexcpected snow, wind & bitter cold the AM of our intended departure. No regrets on that decision.

Good over night park, unable to sign in to wifi, very needed, Bob was not really helpful.

Our motorhome had engine troubles and Bob and Grant were great. We needed to stay longer but didnt know how long, depending on getting the parts and getting them installed. They said the site was ours as long as we needed it. Thank you very much. We'll definately stay here again.

Great! We came very late after midnight and the self checkin process was very easy. Kent was really nice and accommodating when we asked to check out late the next day. The wifi speed was very fast and allowed me to work remotely. The campground was spacious for my 32’ to move around freely. I would come back again. Thanks Kent.

Very misleading on the amount of the stay. Called shortly after 5 and got no answer and left a message that wasn’t returned. Was told I could book online so when I tried, it said I couldn’t book for the same day after 4:00pm. Sorry to tell you but people don’t travel 8:00 am to 5:00 pm! And then to add over $5 tax on top of the inflated price. Could have stayed in a motel for $25 more. Never

The bathrooms were not in good shape, very little hot water. I think they are remodeling. WiFi was tough to get on. Very convenient for an overnight stop.

Quiet campground in town. WiFi didn’t work but otherwise was a ok place to stay when passing through. Very few people camping there. Would stay there again.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Looks like location is in process of freshening up. It is small but pull-thrus were good size so we did not have to unhook. Bathrooms and laundry were immaculate (thank you). Will definitely stay here again when passing thru.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Large sites with ability to remain hooked to truck. The KOA was quiet. Nice fenced dog park and a dog walk. Bath and Laundry facilities were nice (only small issue was hair on the drain cover). The gentleman who checked us in was super nice and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

For a KOA Journey, the Raton KOA was very nice. The location was convenient and quiet. The person working the office was very welcoming and helpful. The campsite was clean and very level. We will be back!

A good stop off place to stay on the way south. Very friendly staff . The second year that we have stayed there. Hopefully for many more years.
