Important Campground Information

• Restroom Facilities. Please note that our after-hours restrooms are not available 24 hours a day.
  
• After-Hours Restroom Hours: 5:00 AM – 10:00 PM Daily. Because restroom access is limited overnight, all RVs staying at Boomtown KOA must be equipped with a functioning onboard restroom. Please ensure your RV meets this requirement before making a reservation.
  
• RV Campground Only: Boomtown KOA is an RV-only campground.
  
• No tent camping permitted
  
• All sites are designed for self-contained RVs
  
• Every site includes full hookups
  
• Swimming Pool: Our seasonal swimming pool is open during the warmer months and typically closes for the season at the end of September, weather permitting.
  
• Summer Pool Hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Daily
  
• Wi-Fi & Cable TV: Complimentary Wi-Fi and Cable TV service are available for all registered guests during their stay.

• Guests are required to have onboard restroom facilities before booking a site.
  

Pool & Hot Tub: Our seasonal pool and hot tub are open May through October, weather permitting.

Laundry Facilities: On-site laundromat available to guests.

Visitor Policy: Visitors must register with the front office upon arrival and comply with all campground rules. Visitors must depart by 10:00 PM unless approved by management.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome at Boomtown KOA.

• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
  
• Please clean up after your pets immediately.
  
• Aggressive pets are not permitted.
  
• A dog run is available for registered guests.
  

Campfires & Firewood: Campfires are only permitted in approved fire pits when local fire restrictions allow. Firewood availability and restrictions may vary based on current fire conditions.

Speed Limit: The campground speed limit is 5 MPH. Please watch for children, pets, and pedestrians.

Propane Service: Propane is available for a fee. Contact the office for current pricing and service hours.

Site Care & Appearance: Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their site. Please keep personal belongings organized and dispose of trash in the dumpsters located throughout the campground.

Nearby Attractions: Boomtown KOA is conveniently located next to Boomtown Casino Hotel & Resort and Verdi Grillhouse, with easy access to hiking, fishing, biking, downtown Reno, Lake Tahoe, and the beautiful Truckee River.

Quiet Hours are observed daily from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Please be respectful of fellow guests and keep noise to a minimum during these hours.

• Additional restrooms and showers are available inside the Kampstore from 8:00 AM until 30 minutes before closing.
  

All RVs staying at Boomtown KOA are required to have onboard restroom facilities.

Seasonal Pool & Hot Tub: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Daily. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Visitor Policy
Visitors are welcome; however, all visitors must register at the front office upon arrival. Visitors must comply with all campground rules and depart by 10:00 PM unless otherwise approved by management.

Firewood Policy
Outside firewood is not permitted. Firewood is available for purchase in the KOA Store to help prevent the spread of invasive insects and plant diseases.

Pet Policy
Pets are welcome and must remain on a leash at all times.

• Please clean up after your pet immediately.
  
• Pets may not be left unattended outside.
  
• Aggressive pets are not permitted.
  
• Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, and bully breeds require prior approval.

Please watch for children, pets, cyclists, and pedestrians throughout the park.

Propane Concierge Service
Contact the office between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM

• To schedule our propane pickup and delivery service. Service is available for propane tanks up to 10 gallons.
  

Security
For the safety and comfort of our guests, Boomtown KOA is monitored and regularly patrolled. Please report any concerns to the front desk immediately.

Campfires & Grills
Campfires are permitted only in approved fire rings and when local fire restrictions allow. Charcoal and propane grills are welcome.

Wi-Fi & Cable TV
Complimentary Wi-Fi and Cable TV service are available throughout the campground for registered guests. Connection speeds and availability may vary depending on usage, weather conditions, and site location.

Extended Summer Hours
To better serve our guests and accommodate popular requests, Boomtown KOA has extended its summer operating hours.
Office and Kampstore Hours:
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Daily
These extended hours will remain in effect through September (weather dependent), giving guests more time to check in, shop for camping essentials, receive assistance, and enjoy our campground amenities.

For your convenience, Boomtown KOA offers an on-site laundry facility exclusively for registered guests.

Laundry Hours: Open Daily: 8:00 AM until 2 hours prior to office closing
To allow all guests the opportunity to use the facilities, please remove laundry promptly when cycles are complete.

Swimming Pool Hours

Enjoy our seasonal swimming pool during the warmer months while relaxing at Boomtown KOA.

Pool Rules

• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  
• No lifeguard is on duty. Guests swim at their own risk.
  
• Please observe all posted pool rules and safety guidelines.
  
• Running, rough play, and diving are prohibited.
  
• Proper swim attire is required.

• Late check-outs may be available on a limited basis, depending on occupancy and operational needs. If you would like to request a late check-out, please contact the office staff during your stay.

• Guests arriving before 2:00 PM may be accommodated based on site availability.
  

Early Check-In Fee: $15.00

• All early check-ins must be approved by the office prior to arrival and are subject to site availability.

Pet Policy
We welcome well-behaved pets at Boomtown KOA and ask all guests to help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

• All pets must be kept on a leash at all times while outside your RV.
  
• Pets may not be left unattended or tied up outside at any time.
  
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately.
  
• Please be courteous to fellow guests and properly dispose of pet waste.
  
• Boomtown KOA reserves the right to assess a cleanup fee if pet waste is not removed by the owner.
  

Breed Restrictions: Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, and other bully breeds are permitted on a pre-approval basis only. Please contact the campground prior to arrival if you have questions regarding breed approval. For the safety and comfort of all guests, aggressive behavior from any pet will not be tolerated.
