Camping During Major Reno Events
Planning to visit during one of Reno's exciting annual events? Boomtown KOA is a popular destination for guests attending major events throughout the Reno-Tahoe region, including Hot August Nights, Street Vibrations, the Reno Rodeo, Burning Man, Artown, and many other festivals and special events.Reservations Recommended. Due to high demand during major events, we strongly encourage guests to call for reservations as early as possible to secure their campsite. _

We are happy to accept site requests and will make every effort to accommodate your preferences. Important Campground Information

• After-Hours Restrooms are open 24 Hours Daily, May through September.
  
• October through April, the Poolside restrooms are open from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM
  
• RV Campground Only: Boomtown KOA is an RV-only campground.
  
• No tent camping permitted
  
• All sites are designed for self-contained RVs
  
• Every site includes full hookups
  
• Swimming Pool: Our seasonal swimming pool is open during the warmer months and typically closes for the season at the end of September, weather permitting.

Visitor Policy: Visitors must register with the front office upon arrival and comply with all campground rules. Visitors must depart by 10:00 PM unless approved by management.

Pet Policy: Pets are welcome at Boomtown KOA.

• Pets must be kept on a leash 6 foot long or shorter at all times.
  
• Please clean up after your pets immediately.
  
• Pit Bulls are NOT permitted.
  
• Rotweilers, Doberman Pinchers, dogs over 50 pounds require prior approval
  
• A dog run is available for registered guests.
  

Campfires & Firewood: Campfires are only permitted in approved fire pits when local fire restrictions allow. Firewood availability and restrictions may vary based on current fire conditions.

Speed Limit: The campground speed limit is 5 MPH. Please watch for children, pets, and pedestrians.

Propane Delivery Service to/from your site is available.  Contact the office for current pricing and service hours.

Site Care & Appearance: Guests are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their site. Please keep personal belongings organized and dispose of trash in the dumpsters located throughout the campground.

Nearby Attractions: Boomtown KOA is conveniently located next to Boomtown Casino Hotel & Resort and Verdi Grillhouse, with easy access to hiking, fishing, biking, downtown Reno, Lake Tahoe, and the beautiful Truckee River.

Visitor Policy

Firewood Policy
Outside firewood is not permitted. Firewood is available for purchase in the KOA Store to help prevent the spread of invasive insects and plant diseases.

Pets are welcome

• Pets must remain on a 6' leash or shorter at all times while outside the RV.
  
• Please clean up after your pet immediately.
  
• Pets may not be left unattended outside.
  
• Aggressive pets are not permitted.
  
• PIT BULLS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
  
• Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, dogs over 50 pounds, and bully breeds require prior approval.

For the safety and comfort of our guests, Boomtown KOA is monitored and regularly patrolled. Please report any concerns to the front desk immediately.

Campfires & Grills
Campfires are permitted only in approved fire rings and when local fire restrictions allow. Charcoal and propane grills are welcome.

Wi-Fi & Cable TV
Complimentary Wi-Fi and Cable TV service are available throughout the campground for registered guests. Connection speeds and availability may vary depending on usage, weather conditions, and site location.

Extended Summer Hours
To better serve our guests and accommodate popular requests, Boomtown KOA has extended its summer operating hours.
Office and Kampstore Hours:
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Daily
These extended hours will remain in effect mid May through September (weather dependent), giving guests more time to check in, shop for camping essentials, receive assistance, and enjoy our campground amenities.

Swimming Pool Hours

Enjoy our seasonal swimming pool during the warmer months while relaxing at Boomtown KOA.

Pool Rules

• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  
• No lifeguard is on duty. Guests swim at their own risk.
  
• Please observe all posted pool rules and safety guidelines.
  
• Running, rough play, and diving are prohibited.
  
• Proper swim attire is required.

Early Check-In Fee: $15.00

• All early check-ins must be approved by the office prior to arrival and are subject to site availability.

Pet Policy
We welcome well-behaved pets at Boomtown KOA and ask all guests to help us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

• All pets must be kept on a 6 foot leash or shorter at all times while outside your RV while in the park.
  
• Pets may not be left unattended or tied up outside at any time.
  
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets immediately.
  
• Please be courteous to fellow guests and properly dispose of pet waste.
  
• Boomtown KOA reserves the right to assess a cleanup fee of $25 if pet waste is not removed by the owner.
  

Breed Restrictions:
PIT BULLS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, dogs over 50 pounds, and other bully breeds are permitted on a pre-approval basis only.
Please contact the campground prior to arrival if you have questions regarding breed approval. For the safety and comfort of all guests, aggressive behavior from any pet will not be tolerated.
