Always use designated fire pits and keep extra wood or flammable items at least 10 feet away. Please use locally purchased firewood to prevent the spread on non-native pests. Meet Your Hosts

Established in 1968

"Hello!" from campground owners and managers, John and Susan Peck. Our campground was built in 1968 by John's parents, Charles and Kathleen, making it one of the 5 oldest campgrounds in the KOA system. We are still proudly owned and operated by the same family today! John spent most of his childhood around the campground, and his high school sweetheart, Susan, began working at the KOA when she was just 16. Together, the Peck family has poured their hearts into making it a warm, welcoming place for every guest.

Today, we own and manage the campground, and it's a full family affair with our children, Hannah, Emily, and Aaron, all being part of the fun, ensuring the family spirit and hometown hospitality live on. Whether you're here for a night or a season, we're here to make you feel right at home on the shores of beautiful Lake Cumberland.
