Everything was going wonderful, check in, site, pool, hook ups, but at around 4 pm a horrible livestock smell came in - so bad that we had to close all windows in van and stay indoors. The smell continued through the night. We woke up and hoped it was gone -it had subsided but then after shower at 800 am cane back and we left earlier then expected. Rv park was very nice but smell was horrible.

Campground is huge & heavily populated. Nice family environment. Wrist bands for guests is a little overboard. Our site was in the small side & we had to pay extra for our adult son to stay with us, some $22 more for 3 nights. Like most campgrounds in the area, very expensive

I felt a bit maneuvered as far as being told of available spaces (we had not made a reservation). The maneuver being to put us in a horrible spot first in order to get us to upgrade to a more expensive, but nice, spot with more services than we needed.

Everything was perfect with the exception of our arrival. Was chaotic and one of the office gals was very rude (long gray hair and seemed overwhelmed). There needs to be a very large sign that says check in at the office. Everyone was lined up at the little house by the gate. I noticed over the weekend you had workers coming up to cars waiting in line but we came on a Thurs and no one came up.

Good location. Would have preferred a better spot. Ours was small and cramped. Sites along the outside appear to be more spacious and private.

Upside is great but we stayed in the chat section they haven’t been watery that area so it’s very dirty with lots of dry grass all the other areas have been watered and the grass is green

Friendly staff, cool features, super clean bathrooms abs conveniently located next to Petaluma. I had a lovely stay!

Did not see security in evening and young kids were running near our site on foot and bicycles. Young kids hit our truck and RV three times with a soccer ball. SATURDAY NIGHT it was too noisy after dark. Have stayed here several times in past and it was never this bad. Groups of 5-10 children riding scooters and bikes after dark - no lights with cars and trucks moving in campground - not safe.

It was perfect! We loved everything about it! My kids had a ball. We will definitely be back. Everything was so organized and clean. Very impressive. Friendly people and a great family atmosphere!

As usual our stay was great except for a couple of minor issues, this time we used your washers and dryers but most of them didn’t work or had issues like stopping in the middle of the wash cycle and not continue. Some would take the money and just refuse to work.

We had a pleasant stay and appreciated being able to stay close to where we live for the maiden voyage in our new trailer. We have camped at this KOA (and several others) but this was the first time since the pandemic. We were disappointed the masks on the playground and the jumpy pillow were not enforced, despite there being a sign. We will probably wait until kids are vaccinated to stay again.

I'd suggest one change. In was in camping cabin V274 (I believe), near a big tree stump and a smallish parking spot. If you park just right, you don't see it on the way out because it's too low. So you hit it -as I dig - and damage your car for $1,000. Just remove the stump please.

Love coming here. The camp grounds are beautiful...love all the things for the kids...all the staff we met were friendly and felt like they were happy to be there.

Petaluma KOA is camping at its finest. We stayed three days and loved staying here. Petaluma KOA has everything you need and then some. The grounds are beautifully kept and some sites are beautifully landscape. I would highly recommend staying here. Downtown Petaluma is a nice place to stroll and great restaurants. Close to Bodega Bay if you want to view the Pacific Coast and Napa Valley.

Beautiful campground with very helpful staff. I appreciate the information they had to share with us regarding wineries nearby. They were very accommodating when we had to leave a day early.

The ground are lovely. The activities are plenty and a nice dog park. I was very disappointed that my #1 request of satallite access was not honored. In fact I paid extra to hold the site I was told had satellite access. When I requested to be moved to another site there was very little effort in trying to find one and for 8 days I had no news of current events. The staff was not friendly or helpf

I stayed in a tent site, V252. It is a lovely site, with a giant tree and several nice spots for the tent. Not to far from the restrooms/showers. Those are kept very clean and the hot water was nice, since I was in a tent. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good typical KOA. A unique feature we loved was the Kampground Kitchen. One thing we disliked was the washing machines. Ate quarters and jammed machines and there was no posted price. Staff were very good.

A very large KOA with lots of “extras”; ie a farm animal petting area! The pool area is huge and although we didn’t use it, it looked quite nice! Corn hole in several different locations thru out the park. Our site was a bit tight for our 40 ft class A and tow vehicle but we managed. They were repaying the road while we were there. Upkeep here is very visible & important to these owners!

Facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and I will definitely visit again someday. Two criticisms. 1) On the second night, they placed someone right next to me in the tent area even though the place was nearly empty. 2) It would be nice to have more trees in the tent area. The RV section has redwood groves, and the tent area is just barren ground. A bunch of seedlings would be cheap.

This place has great amenities with great staff. The spaces were fairly spaced apart. My only complaint is about the showers, the shower head is way too high that the water is cold by the time it hits you. The water also was barely luke warm and there's no space for you to change in private. There are also many flies as there are animals nearby. They filled my propane as well, just took it up front for them to tag and they brought it back to my spot! The store was also very cute and had a good selection of drinks, ice cream, and various needs.
