We wanted to hit several places along the California coastline and this campground was perfect, centrally located, and within a descent driving distance to several tourist attractions. The campground was clean, organized, secure and friendly. Great stay. � thanks.

The park was very well maintained. Our space was a bit narrower than I expected, but OK. Unfortunately, the office did not have any KOA gift cards which I wanted to purchase for a gift. The staff in the store were very nice nonetheless.

Grounds were clean and well kept. Bathrooms were well maintained. I was looking for a place that was relatively close to home that I could get away for a weekend or more. This is that place for me.

Wonderful site. Staff was wonderful. My only complaint is finding your site. Really should have a person in the golf cart take you to your site�ϋ�

The Second KOA we have stayed in during our last week of traveling, Fist KOA terrible, no rules enforced , overpriced... KOA at Petaluma better by a small amount but showers were dirty, small and water was luke warm. When we emailed the responsible person, their response was to tell us the combination and location of the bath rooms/showers, for almost $100/night We expected decent showers....

Overall our stay was pleasant. We only used the campground as a place to sleep as we explored the wineries and breweries in the area. I do wish that the they would take better care of the grass areas at the sites, ours was mostly weeds and gopher holes. That being said, we have stayed here before and would stay again,

The stay was great and the staff was friendly and helpful. My only wish is that we would have known this location didn’t participate in the promotion for the free night on the 9/11 weekend. I did not budget to spend that much, so I was unpleasantly surprised. Maybe update the app to notify customers when booking on a promo stay if that location isn’t part of it.

We enjoyed the hot tub & the store had lots of goodies. Friendly neighbors. We are not pet people but we’re not did not mind the animals around us.

Everything was clean and everyone was friendly. We loved having a pool and the jump area/petting zoo were wonderful as well. I would definitely stay here again.

We love this KOA! Great amenities great location and large patio sites. This is our 3rd time staying there. With that said this most recent stay there was a bit of an issue. Apparently I had booked a site that had VIP pumping. ( no sewer hookup) It worked fine until checkout day when we were delayed by 2 hours because we had to wait for the pump truck. We won’t do that again.

We were there for the Tour de Fuzz bicycle event in Santa Rosa. We plan on making it a annual event. We had friends in the spot next to us in their RV. Next year, we expect more rv’s since we are going to spread the word to our cycling club. For those in our group that stay elsewhere, would they be allowed to join us one afternoon for dinner?

Having recently visited another KOA location in northern California I was blown away by the Petaluma KOA. It's clear the owners take pride in their property and ensuring their guests have a great experience. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Our family and friends had a great time and will be back.

Just did a company retreat here. Everyone had fun, my families second time here. The grounds even when "Full" don't really feel like you're packed in like sardines, it's roomy.

Nice expansive camp ground. We had a nice pull through site. Very roomy for our smaller travel trailer. Many different types of camping choices, full hook ups, pull thru, premium sites with patios, tent sites, and cabins. Staff was very helpful, check in was a breeze. Firewood delivered. Family liked the petting zoo. Good location to head to the beach and downtown Petaluma.

We were in town for 2 night for a wedding, I feel lucky we were able to get a spot this is obviously a popular park. It is well run and well maintained and has some great amenities. while here my wife liked it so much she booked and RV site and a tiny house for a girls trip to wine country.

We had a great 3 days at Petaluma KOA! We stay in the Valley View area, no sewer, they come & empty every morning. It was quiet, watching the cows roam was awesome. We will be back!!

It was difficult to navigate our 40’ fifth wheel. The site was great for the size of the fifth wheel but not much room for the truck. I noticed this in many of the sites which also made it hard to navigate because so many vehicles had to partially park in the road. Great place for families but we’re retired so really didn’t take advantage.

This place is nothing like before…. Petting zoo only have goats!! No more Sunday breakfast. Workers not friendly at all. I would never go back to this place.

Our site was lovely but phone calls and check in were most unpleasant. Same woman on the phone checked us in and she was rude, annoyed and very curt. Most unpleasant experience. Makes me think twice about ever returning.

We loved the amenities but we felt that the tent sites were not great. The difference between the camper sites and the tent sites was stark.

We checked in late due to my husband having to work late, but once we got settled and had a right night setting up for our first trip we took advantage of the fun things for kids. We didn’t get a chance to try out the pool because we had to check out at 11 but it was great stay. I would recommend fixing the fencing in the play area. There are a lot of rebar sticking up out of the ground.

Payed a lot of money to camp in dirt. Website said that tent camping was on nice grass. Our site was dead grass and dirt. No picnic table in site as advertised and a worker had to snag one from another site for us. The “petting zoo” was just a few goats. Lots of vehicle traffic going to the area where long term campers were staying. Bathrooms were clean and the pool was nice.

We’ve stayed in a million KOA’s. LOL…. And you’re is absolutely one of the best. Largest variety of RV sites we’ve ever encountered. Even though it was only for one night it was memorable and we will definitely stay here again. Thanks.

This place is wonderful! The only thing that could be improved would be giving a little more attention to the tent area, where we stayed. Maintenance was perfect in the RV sections. Bits of garbage all over, tons of popped water balloons in tent area. More landscaping in that area would be nice. RVers generate more income, but everyone should have a clean site! Still, a great experience!!!

This place has great amenities with great staff. The spaces were fairly spaced apart. My only complaint is about the showers, the shower head is way too high that the water is cold by the time it hits you. The water also was barely luke warm and there's no space for you to change in private. There are also many flies as there are animals nearby. They filled my propane as well, just took it up front for them to tag and they brought it back to my spot! The store was also very cute and had a good selection of drinks, ice cream, and various needs.
