It was very relaxing and peaceful. The grounds are well maintained and bathrooms clean. Looking forward to the beer garden when it is done. Great idea.

Great place, convenient location, easy access. The patio sites are fantastic, with lots of room, a fire pit, a round table with chairs, and a cool swing chair.

This is a good location but the first space they put us in wasn’t appropriate for our size 5th wheel so we were moved to a space at the front of the park that was covered in mud from recent rain if we ever stay again we would reserve a big rig site that is paved also very noisy all night from the highway. The staff were great and very helpful

This is the nicest KOA I've stayed at. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the grounds were beautiful and clean. I'll definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Petaluma KOA this past weekend! Our site was large and everything was clean. It was pretty muddy in areas, but we understood since it recently rained and there was some construction. The location was close to downtown and also the coast at Bodega Bay. We enjoyed our neighbors and the little store. Everything worked as it should!. Thank you!

Nice campground. Only thing we disliked was requirement to wear armband that couldn’t be removed when leaving campground and put back on upon return.

We love staying here. Everyone is so friendly and the whole place surrounds you with a fun atmosphere. The bathrooms are in beautiful upgraded condition and very clean. This is one of the best KOAs we have stayed at . . . and we have stayed at several KOAs in Northern CA and Nevada.

This is the second time I have stayed here at the Petaluma KOA. The staff is friendly and the facilities are great. Looking forward to returning again soon.

This is a class RV park. Super clean! Super friendly staff. Great location! Love the updates to most RV sites. The concrete entertainment are on each site makes it really nice when there with wet weather like we were! Just an all around A-1 park! Thank you!!

Our stay started well. Received a concierge text message that was lovely. If you need anything, they are there for you. Ex: if you need propane filled, bring your tanks up to the office, they give you a tag to stick on them & you leave the tank there. It’s filled by staff & returned to your campsite. 1st time we did it, Tanks returned to site. 2nd time, they LOST OUR TRAILER TANK! Still Missing

Site had dirty rags under the table. The place was a big mud pit. I understand that it had rained recently, but just know, it’s a big mud pit. They need way more gravel.

I enjoyed my stay and appreciate all of the amenities that have been added since my last stay 5 years ago. It is now a high end RV resort! I was a little sorry to see that the more rustic sites around the outdoor kitchen and BBQ area have been turned into prime sites, but know that this KOA is in a prime location to attract the big spenders. The shower I took near B section was only luke warm.

We enjoyed the well kept grounds, even though the grassy areas were waterlogged after a very wet stretch. It was convenient to both Petaluma and Santa Rosa, and we even managed to snag some of the famous Pliny the Elder beer! Next time we'll stay longer so we can visit the pets and see more of the surrounding area.

Helpful and congenial staff. They were able to fit me in for 10 days in a perfect site. Always a pleasure to stay there especially in the summer to take advantage of a host of events

Repeat visitor; Staff friendly and helpful, grounds in beautiful shape. There was a power outage, due to a broken buried feed, happened Sunday 12/26. Staff checked it out immediately, was back on Mon 12/27, cut asphalt in next site, dug, repaired, filled & put asphalt block back - all in 4 hours! TV cable signal is very noisy, but still better than OTA. WiFi is very slow most of the time.

Even in the rain we enjoyed our Christmas getaway at the KOA. Lots to offer. New store is awesome. Tented area kept us dry while family gathered for holiday meal. Thank you to all at the KOA.

Woody, the owner, Mike the manager and Larry the grounds man went above and beyond to make are stay wonderful. This Koa truly takes care of its guests. I will definitely be back!

Other than the restrictions on long term campers accessories outside the trailer and the somewhat muddy sites, the service and facilities were top rate.

My first stay at this Koa. Water, sewer and electricity worked fine, big enough space. My biggest complaint is that for the always expensive nightly rate this KOA charges sites should be level and well maintained with or pad, either gravel or a solid surface. Northern CA was having much needed rain during our stay. Due to the state of our site with little gravel we were surrounded by a mud pudd

Area was flooded and muddy. Paid $88 to pull in at dark and wake to the next camper outside waiting to pull in at 8 am. Bathroom & clubhouse are very far from our site.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. We have a 45 foot RV and booked a deluxe patio site 165. We could not get our RV into the site due to the tight entry with too many rocks. The staff moved us right away. We spoke to the person that stayed in 165 after we moved and he said he barely got his 37 foot RV in that spot due to the planters and rocks. We thought you should know that.

This place has great amenities with great staff. The spaces were fairly spaced apart. My only complaint is about the showers, the shower head is way too high that the water is cold by the time it hits you. The water also was barely luke warm and there's no space for you to change in private. There are also many flies as there are animals nearby. They filled my propane as well, just took it up front for them to tag and they brought it back to my spot! The store was also very cute and had a good selection of drinks, ice cream, and various needs.
