We stayed in the small cabin. Very comfortable for the two of us and one dog. Nice quiet park but there is a train track near by. This is our 2nd time staying here.

We booked here based on the reviews and we were very disappointed. There may have been gravel at one point but it's all just a dirty, muddy mess now. The whole place seems to need some tlc. We picked up some items in the store only later to discover they were already expired. On a positive note the staff was very friendly and the sunset was beautiful.

If you going to stay in a KOA you probably should have working Internet since there’s no Wi-Fi cell service in the area. What are we paying for to sleep next to a train track.

I was stuck in a snowstorm for 3 days. Very blessed to have a nice clean place to stay in a storm. Everyone was very kind��

Site was good, and level. Staff very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the train track. The campground is right up against a very busy rail line. You will listen to trains all night. If you are a heavy sleeper, this won’t be an issue. If you aren’t, it may be an issue.

Good guys. Lent me a caulking gun for my roof just before the snow came. Love watching the freight trains roll by.

Enjoyed this stop scenery was beautiful. Workers were very helpful. WiFi was the best we have found for streaming.

The people who run the facility are very friendly. We liked how accommodating they are and would stay here again. The town is very neat and has some good places to eat. The train runs near by very often but we didn’t find it to be an issue.

Stayed one night. Everything great including the laundry and playground. The one negative is that the location isnt paved and so when i rinsed out my hose it created mud which made my hoses covered in sand.

Loved the scenery, the cabin was great! It was also very nice to that they provided water and a grill.

The park was very clean and well cared for. I LOVED the fenced off dog areas! Online reservation and payment was smooth and easy, as was check in. No issues whatsoever. A nice place to pull off and plug in for a night!

Booked on the KOA app before 5pm and arrived around 8pm on the same day. Our reservation was ready. Easy access and the right price for a quick road stop.

This was the perfect stop between the Grand Canyon and California. Lots of new trees, two dog parks and a very friendly and helpful staff. They were also very COVID aware and made it easy to have a no contact check in.

Train roared through all night long. Never saw a person. When we arrived at 5, an envelope was taped to the door. Not a problem, but when we got to the location our 50 amp outlet wouldn't work, so we stood out in 20 degree weather working the issue. It was an overnight stay so I guess it served its purpose.

Quiet, (except for the trains), power was good, water and pressure were good, camp host was very nice and helpful. WIFI need some boosting.

My only complaint is all the dirt and dust. I didn't use any of the facilities. Would be nice if they installed cement pads.

It was very easy to get and make a reservation at this KOA, which we appreciated. This was a very basic KOA, without the usual amenities we have come to expect from KOA stays. However, with COVID interfering in operations, we cannot rate the services that would normally be provided.

Granted located in the desert but something better than just dirt everywhere could be done to improve this KOA. Poor value for the money when compared to other KOA locations at the same cost. Would not recommend.

Easy, safe check in process. Campground was clean and felt safe. I enjoyed the trains rolling by at night. In town, there were a few options to grab food and snacks. Would go back.

Stayed at one of the cabins and it was an incredible experience. Got there late and they were gracious enough to put a heater and warm up the cabin, made all the difference in the world. Basic cabin but great experience.

Not a "destination" site, but a very pleasant night's stay. Campsite is right up against the BNSF Transcon mainline, so continual long freight trains in both directions 24/7. Light sleepers and bad soundproofing could be trouble. My GPS tried to steer me wrong when coming in from I-40 WB; the road will go under the train tracks and curve left, and the campsite is right there.

Mike is a very hardworking and pleasant host to deal with, on the phone to me and in person with my husband. And the other office people were so nice to tell us about things and places to see. The 4 rating was because of the numerous trains that came through all the time and especially at night. Probably 5-6 per hour throughout the night. The tracks are right next to the KOA.

We just pull in, sleep and pull out, so it is hard to get a good reading, but since they are COVID aware and leave the paperwork outside, we don't have to deal with face to face meetings, and that really matters.

Very friendly, loved the trains going by (no horns) beautiful area. We will plan on staying again on our next trip through the area (we travel from California to Texas to visit family)
