It was ok. It is in a convenient location. The bathroom showers need to be updated. There was mold in the crevices.

Was pretty good all n all .. more shade trees would be appreciated! The shade would be great on those hot days. No water in the pool :/

This was our second time staying at this campground. We love watching the trains and the sunsets are beautiful. Management is doing an awesome job in fixing the place up. Bathrooms are clean and were given a fresh coat of paint while we were there. This is now our go-to place to get out of the Phoenix heat. Keep up the good work!!

The stay was good. Cabins were clean and cute. Happy to have the A/C microwave. Wish the other KOAs had that. They are accommodating. Hopefully pool will open. Seems that a lot of pools are closed all across the KOAs

I have stayed here several times over the past 2 years and enjoyed each one. Friendly, accommodating staff, clean premises, and the essential services/amenities needed for a pleasant stay.

I know with Covid going on things are a little different. It was close to town where we could spend the day there. The pool was empty when website said it would be open. I had to sweep the spider webs of the walls before going to bed. The bathroom was being repainted and needed work in the showers. I know KOA'S are different but this 1 had nothing for the kids to do. We only stayed 1 night.

Very, very rustic, that wasn't the problem for me. The old wooden bed frames in the cabin dIdn’t just sqeak, they sounded like they were coming apart with every little movement, the train noise all night it made for an interesting stay. And It was very hot in the women’s restroom, I couldn’t stand to be in there for more than a couple of minutes.

We had a good time! No problems at all. Everyone was nice and the area was relaxing. Enjoyed watching the trains go by.

My stay was satisfactory. Stay in a Kabin. I wasn’t aware this KOA was bought out, and being under maintenance. So quality of the area was in need of improvement. Hopefully in the near future, it will improved.

You still have some ways to go to rejuvenate the property, however it was still a beautiful place to stay, and a great night sleep.

We always have a great time here, the accommodations are the best. Hopefully the pool will be up soon, we missed that this year. We usually stay here at least once a year. Great place and people.

Their system was down and when I arrived in the middle of the night, my name was not posted and I did not have anywhere to stay. From what I could see, the site was very run down.

Very nice koa and I have stayed at hundreds, very clean and they were cleaning while I was there, I felt safe even in these trying times, have stayed here before covid and will continue to stay here whenever I’m in the area.

Friendly staff, extremely clean restrooms, clean laundry room, well stocked campground store. Very reasonable rates.

Please check the windows in your cabins. Cabin #2 felt like the window was open all night. Not sealed well at all. The heater could not make the room warm so I was very cold. And with check out at 11am, shouldn't the office be open at least until then? It closed at 10am and doesn't re-open until 2pm. I have stayed at MANY KOA cabins all over the country and haven't experienced this.

Loved the cabin! Stopped on the way to Havasupai. Wanted to go back right after to enjoy a nice shower and campfire. We will be back!

Nice and clean. Stayed in a cabin with windows open first of August feeling comfortable. Trains ran through the night but after you’re asleep you don’t hear them.

The people were really awesome, the pool was cool but cold. Wish there were more things to do. But other than that it was pretty good!!

We arrived at 8:20pm and the office was closed. They left a map with our cabin number taped to the door but no key and the cabin was locked. We had to drive around the campground to find someone to help us. When we asked if she know where the manager or someone who could help us, she replied “Why?” She did get us a key to our cabin but this KOA didn’t seem to have it together.
