Very friendly and accommodating. Helped set us up on a last minute fishing charter as well. Very clean facilities and everything was as expected or better.

Park is brand new. Hosts are very friendly. Gravel parking lot. Active bald eagles nest in tree in front center of park.

This koa is literally next door to a dog business and the barking is crazy. So stay in the very back No cable tv and WiFi not too good but that’s most of Alaska. But really nice laid out park and staff is great!!!!!

Beautiful location. Wonderful people who own this place, and they also have a wonderful staff. It’s brand new, so that has both advantages and challenges (weak WiFi, lack of landscaping). By end of season hopefully they will have addressed the challenges, moving it up to 4 or 5-star. Suggest asking for spot off the road, and away from Turning Heads dog kennel - both can be loud.

I loved the campground!! I have stayed in koa’s All over the lower 48 but the one in seward had the best spots of any I have ever stayed at!!!!

Nice, new park run by lovely people. Large, long, level sites on gravel lot. Excellent hookups. Mostly quiet (sled dogs next door occasionally get loud, first row of sites have some road noise). Open, sunny sites; a few get satellite signal. Good AT&T, poor Verizon. Close to town and Exit Glacier. Fun to watch resident eagles care for their eaglets.

Great location, large roomy sights, clean clean facilities, pick nick tables and fire pit!!! Eagle nesting on site wow. New first year camp ground would recommend beefing up WiFi as cash positive flow starts coming in.

Beautiful location, nice views. And the best was the Bald Eagles nest in the only tree in the park, so cool watching them come and go with food for the two babies in there the manager said. I got some great picture of them and mountains around.

This was a great campground. The couple that manage the campground we’re excellent hosts. They were very accommodating for anything we needed. The campground is in a great place with an eagles nest as entertainment too.

Great new park in Seward. Quiet and serene. Wonderful showers and laundry room has nice furniture TV WiFi and games. Beats fighting the crowds in town and the tired parks outside of town.

Awesome new KOA!! Good 50 AMP power, good water pressure & Sewer connections are just the right height! The office is unbelievable! Made from massive hand hewn logs that were cleared from the campground site, unbelievable craftsmanship! The owners are unbelievable also, an energetic young couple that have poured themselves into building it and are just genuinely nice people that are great hosts!

Great sites, large and clean. Facilities were very clean and we loved the showers. The main office building is fantastic. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. One of the few places in the area with 50 amp full hookup sites.

This KOA is a work in progress—has only been open a month and a half. The staff is great. Love the laundry-game room set up. It is a gravel lot but the individual spaces are wide, plenty of room to maneuver a big rig. They were in the process of building the playground when we were there. I’m sure there will be more additions as they go. Only negative-dog musher and dogs nextdoor.

The view of the mountains was great. WiFi great. Laundry / shower area great. But those barking HOWLING dogs even during the night time hours was BAD, UN-NERVING, like something out of a horror movie. I d.on ‘t know what can be done about it since the dog owners next door were there first. I wish you luck. I admire your enthusiasm in making this work.

Nice NEW facility. Huge individual toilet/shower rooms. Nice laundry. Was hoping for trees!! Look for eagle nest in the one tree on the property. Sled dog kennel adjacent to KOA.

We LOVED it! So glad we could make a reservation and not leave it to chance (1st come 1st served) for the other campgrounds in Seward!) The hosts were awesome! Such a a treat to have the eagles nest right there and also to be right next door to an Iditarod team of dogs (we took the tour and really enjoyed it!) would definitely highly recommend and definitely come back again!!!

Gorgeous new campground outside Seward on the way to Exit Glacier. The lodge is gorgeous and the owners are very helpful. We can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

Very clean campground, friendly staff. There was a family of eagles nesting in the only tree in the park, they were so cute, but they don’t really sleep. Also, the dog sledding team next door is also very active. The Salmon Bake writhing walking distance has amazing food, don’t believe them when they say it’s lousy. This is a true Alaskan experience.

Used KOA app to find. Called, made same day reservations, also they booked Glacier and Wildlife excursion for the next day for us. New KOA, nice, friendly staff

The sites are well laid out and large. Nicest bathrooms and laundry room I've seen. There was a nest with a bald eagle to watch.

Nice people, good customer service. However, clearcut lot - no trees, no cable, and directly adjacent to dog kennel with dogs barking constantly. Very overpriced for what you get.

The new grounds are really nice and the facilities are great and very clean. Customer service was amazing. Only negative is the loud dog kennels right next to the KOA where dogs bark all through the night. Made it hard to sleep in a tent and for the kids in the camper.

Stayed a week..right after they opened...they r brand new. Super clean, nice laundry room, very helpful staff. Hopefully the WIFI and cell service will be improved...close to town, walk to dog sled rides, and, a cool eagle nest to watch! Very glad we found this place online...the other one is way out of town and hard to find. Am sure this place will b very successful.

Its a great big gravel parking lot. The only things for the kids was a corn hole game. We stay at koa for the grandkids to have a play area. And the dog sled place next door, nice wake up call at 0430. Bathroom s were great

Very enjoyable stay. I would repair the broken sink in the north bathroom, turn up the sensitivity for all the faucets, fill the towel dispensers.

With this being a new campground there are few things yet to be done. We enjoyed the wide spaces, a rarity in Alaska. Sign closer to the road would help, we missed the entrance. Great staff and everyone is working hard to put the finishing touches on the place.

Brand new facility, second week of opening. Very friendly staff! Beautiful surroundings. Easy drive to Exit Glacier and many hiking trails. Minutes to Seward. Dog friendly park with river right across the street. Nesting Eagles live on site.

What a beautiful campground from the office to the view. Loved how peaceful it was and how clean everything is. The sites are the most level we have found in Alaska.

Just opened lots of work to do I’m assuming. If you have a dog, this is not a campground to be at. Absolutely no place for your large dog to go. Rocks built up all the way around the campground. No shoulder on the road, very dangerous to walk there and can’t walk along the river across from the campground. A lot of money to ask people to pay when just opened and a large parking lot.

Beautiful setting, amazing views! The host and owners were very friendly and helpful. Close to fishing areas, stores and the town of Seward, great location. I will be back for sure �

Overall pleasant experience- hence the rating. However, some things to be aware of that affected our stay: If you are a late online check-in (we were tenting) the bathrooms require an access code that isn't provided unless you checked in early enough to receive an envelope in the the late check-in drawer. Additionally, next door to the campground is a dog kennel (appeared to be a sled team) and from 6:40am- when we left at 8:15am, the roughly 20 dogs were constantly barking and howling incredibly loudly. If you are in a camper/RV I don't think this would be an issue, but for tent campers, be aware. Otherwise, some positives, the campground is clean, orderly, plenty of hot water, the bathrooms are private and warm, and the morning views are gorgeous.

Clean and scenic campground! Not on the water, but a modern campground with all the needed amenities. Owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
